The House of Prayer

Welcome to our guesthouse, where you can relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation. Located four kilometers from the authentic wooden town of Nora in the beautiful Bergslagen region, Bönehuset was built in 1901 and was originally a missionary house. Now a comfortable home featuring a large combined kitchen and living room where the church hall previously stood, plus two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. On a chilly day, the fireplace in the connecting room provides warmth. The garden area is available for socializing and play. There is a swimming area a few hundred meters away.

The main building is newly built in 2021 with a new and fresh kitchen and bathroom. Wood-fired fireplace. Open, bright floor plan. Large windows and glass doors facing the lake. Newly built sauna (ready to use), but the exterior and gazebo are still under construction. Quiet area close to forest with nice trails, including Bergslagsleden. Golf course about 3 km away.

Very beautiful surroundings, small swimming area in the river two minutes away.

This magnificent villa is located directly adjacent to Akzo Nobel's old headquarters for the gunpowder factory in Gyttorp. The villa was used as a manager's residence and later as a guest villa to entertain and impress distant guests who visited the head office. With its large living areas, the villa is perfect for larger groups. 15 beds arranged in eight bedrooms.
