Absolutely stunning home near Lucca. Authentic Italian style. Feels like you’re stepping into the Middle Ages. The drive up is a scenic adventure with breathtaking views. The house has everything you need and more. Super friendly and helpful host. Incredible value for money. Truly the best place I’ve ever stayed!

It was special treat to be welcomed by Laura when we arrived. She was a great hostess. We felt very comfortable in the spacious surroundings which included an outdoor terrace with expansive views across the Garfagnana valley. As we didn't have a car we walked into Barga which is about 20 minutes. Barga offers shops, restaurants and art galleries. I found lots of opportunities to do some painting around the old town and walks to nearby villages. We loved Barga and are keen to return.

We loved our stay in this beautiful vacation home, perfectly located in the peaceful Tuscan countryside. Sandra is a very attentive host, she was always available for any questions and proactively communicated making the check in process very easy. The house is well appointed. I would like to point out though that only one of the bedrooms has total privacy as the other two bedrooms can only be closed off by a curtain. This contributed to its charm as a lot of the old features of the house were preserved, and wasn't a problem for us. We definitely would come back. Thank you Sandra.

Wir waren für knapp drei Wochen mit unserer 10 Monate alten Tochter in der Wohnung von Franco und Gracia und hatten eine großartige Zeit dort. Das Haus liegt günstig für Ausflüge im Norden der toscana, gleichzeitig aber ruhig und friedlich an einem Berg in der Natur; man hat einen tollen Blick und einen tollen Garten! Die Wohnung selber ist genau wie auf den Bildern beschrieben; gemütlich, mit ausreichendem Platz und einer wirklich gut ausgestatteten Küche. Mit dem eigenen Garten hat man viel privaten Raum. Franco und seine Frau waren herausragende Gastgeber. Sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Auch die Anweisungen, um die Wohnung zu erreichen, waren klar und verständlich. Einziger kleiner Nachteil an der tollen Lage am Berg ist, dass man schlecht zu Fuß (gerade mit Kinderwagen) von dort wegkommt, sondern immer mit dem Auto fahren muss. Insgesamt sind wir absolut zufrieden und können diesen Geheimtipp voll und ganz empfehlen; wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful Airbnb which was thoughtfully restored to reflect the history of the area. You won’t want to leave. We explored Certaldo Alto and Montefioralle- both amazing sites. The pool area was perfection and we couldn’t get enough of the landscape! Couldn’t stayed a week!!!

Wir waren mit unserem 10 Monate alten Baby für vier Tage in Dinos Haus. Der Ausblick und die Ruhe sind wundervoll und das Haus hat alles, was es für uns braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Dino war toll, er hat sich von sich aus gemeldet und nachgefragt, ob wir gut angekommen sind und ob alles ok ist und hat auch auf unsere Nachrichten schnell reagiert. Wir waren mit einem Ford Transit unterwegs, größer bzw breiter sollte euer Auto nicht sein, da die Straßen sehr schmal sind.

Lovely little place, perfect for a couple. Very peaceful, absolutely beautiful scenery. Very clean, with an amazing host. Would happily go back. The only thing I would say is, that the drive to the property can be challenging for drivers who don’t have a lot of confidence. Other than this, it’s an amazing house, lots of character, we loved it!

Wir haben den Urlaub mit unseren drei Töchtern (13, 13, 16) sehr genossen. Besonders der Ausblick und der Pool waren fantastisch. Das Haus und die Terrasse sind sehr schön und laden zum Entspannen ein. Toll war es auch, dass wir fußläufig 2 ausgezeichnete Trattorien erreichen konnten, natürlich auf Empfehlung von Marina. Die Straße von Lucca aus ist schmal und kurvig, teilweise etwas aufregend... Wir waren mit einem großen Ford Transit unterwegs.... alles machbar. Man wird oben von der unglaublichen Aussicht belohnt, besonders nachts mit den Lichtern von Lucca, den Sternen und den Glühwürmchen. Ein schöner Ort mit hilfsbereiten Gastgebern.

Een onvergetelijke ervaring. Een perfect verblijf om samen met je beste vrienden te boeken: een bijzonder sfeervol ingericht huisje met een zeer gezellige woonkeuken. Er stond zelfs een schaal met heerlijke verse eitjes voor het ontbijt voor ons klaar. Alles werkte en niets was kapot of verwaarloosd. Beide slaapkamers met aangrenzende badkamers perfect in orde. Zelden zo'n lekker bed gehad. Kraakhelder, fris en prima matrassen. Het uitzicht was echt fenomenaal. Daar hebben we zo van genoten. Het zwembad was helaas nog niet geopend, daarvoor waren we nog te vroeg in het seizoen. We komen hier zeker nog eens terug. Het was een prima uitvalsbasis voor de grotere steden in de omgeving. Kortom; wij hebben afgelopen 5 dagen optimaal genoten met z'n vieren! Zeker een aanrader en in alles de moeite dubbel en dwars waard.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour . Anita est une hôte très attentionnée, le logement est situé dans un parc verdoyant magnifique au calme avec piscine à disposition, un vrai plus. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter et recommandons ce logement. Le lit King size est très confortable. Localisation parfaite très proche de la ville historique de Lucca. Merci pour tout Anita. Giuliani is a wonderful host who made us feel as if this slice of paradise was our home, too. The location, the meticulously restored home, the views all make for the ultimate Tuscan experience. But Giuliani and her husband bring it all together with their warmth and attentiveness. It was a tough place to say goodbye to — for now. If you are looking for a Tuscan experience, this is it. And remember to ask for the hosts’ home-cooked meal. It is a culinary experience in the very best sense.

Nestled in the mountainside is the Tuscan stay of your dreams. In a villa designed by a renowned architect, you are surrounded by not only incredible views of mountains, valleys and the sea, but also have stunning accommodations. Every detail has been thought of in this home from comfortable living spaces, to luxe fireplaces and high quality beds. We highly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous villa. One of the best parts of the time we spent here, though, was our wonderful host, Letitzia. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly helpful and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic when one of our guests was ill, bringing meals to her while the other guests were out. Additionally, we can't recommend enough joining the dinner sessions they offer for guests throughout the week. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was exactly what you would want from a home cooked meal in Tuscany.

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

Semplicemente tutto perfetto, dall’accoglienza all’aperitivo, dalla cena servita in casa (dal ristorante!) alla colazione panoramica, l’utilizzo della piscina… semplicemente PERFETTO!

We as a family had an amazing stay at Johns villa, all the pictures are good but in reality it exceeded our expectation. The pool was a resounding success, the gardens are immaculate with wonderful aromas from the jasmine and herbs growing. Everything you require for both the pizza oven and barbecue were there at hand, the villas have good quality linen, towels and well stocked kitchen items, you want for nothing. John is a brilliant host who also helped us organise taxis for the family back to the airport which we were very grateful for. To John and his team we’d like to say a big thank you for making our holiday a great success.

A true home away from home! Our stay at the Lemon Villa was hands-down our favorite of the entire trip. The villa had everything we needed and more—it truly felt like a home away from home. It was cozy, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The views of northern Tuscany were absolutely breathtaking, and the jacuzzi was the perfect way to unwind after long days of exploring. Special thanks to Emanuela and her wonderful assistant, who were beyond accommodating and made us feel so welcomed. Their warmth and attention to detail made all the difference. We’d return in a heartbeat!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Christines sehr sauberem und authentischen Haus sehr genossen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, die Aussicht phantastisch. Christine hatte uns zur Begrüßung Blumen hingstellt und die gesame Zeit innerhalb kürzester Zeit geantwortet, wenn wir Fragen hatten oder Hilfe brauchten. Das Haus liegt in einem abgelegenen, nur teilweise bewohnten jahrhundertealten Bergdorf. Wer in die Umstände einer anderen Zeit eintauchen will und Ruhe und Natur liebt, der ist hier goldrichtig! Vielen Dank Christine, dass du dieses Ferienhaus führst und pflegst!

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in dieser Unterkunft. Insbesondere der Außenbereich war traumhaft! Danke und gerne wieder!

This was a fabulous place, very cozy, lovely bath soaps, coffee, and very safe inside. The hosts were veryy responsive, checked in with me, and gave great recommendations. It is located very near the piazza and activities. I walked everywhere. The only thing I want to mention is that there is an ethnic grocery store outside next to the building and for some reason many men hang around there outside most of the day and into the evening. I am an independent female and chose to go into the store so, overall, it did not bother me and I did not feel unsafe. The men talked loud and played music outside so customers need to know to allow for that, but they were not bothersome. I played music softly from my phone or earbuds. I loved the mechanical shades that lower to allow for sleeping in. The air conditioner worked very well….thankful for it! The recommended restaurant just a few doors down with garden seating was divine. I would stay here again! I would stay here again.

Appartamento perfetto per due persone, ben arredato e funzionale. Bagno forse un po' piccolo e ingresso della palazzina poco accogliente. Le finestre isolano totalmente dai rumori esterni e consentono di riposare piacevolmente. Consigliato.

This is my third visit to the Lucca area, but my first time to stay inside the city walls. Fabrizio’s apartment is perfect with respect to location, style, and quality. The terrace is such a haven. Any meals we cooked were eaten out there, and a glass of wine in the evening is a must while you listen to the lively vibe of Lucca.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit! Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten die grandiose Terrasse jeden Tag nutzen. Sonst wäre uns das Apartment zu zweit wahrscheinlich doch zu klein gewesen. Danke auch für den netten Empfang mit Wein und Snacks und schönen Tips für die Umgebung! Es war sehr heiß die Tage, die Klimaanlage war uns zu laut zum schlafen, aber nachts konnte man gut durchlüften. Die Wohnung, die Terrasse, der Blick auf die Dächer, die entspannte Nachbarschaft - eine tolle Atmosphäre. Wir hatten viel Spaß beim Ausflug zum Canyon Park, nach Lucca und zum Meer. Einzig den Pflanzen auf der Terrasse wünschen wir bessere Pflege. Diese waren vollkommen vertrocknet bei unserer Ankunft. Eine klare Gießanleitung auch für die Gäste wären sicher hilfreich (Plastikpflanzen sind beim Charme der Wohnung und der Terrasse auch keine Lösung). Es gibt keine Nachttischlampen, weder unten noch oben. Für alle die nur didital lesen kein Problem. Wir hoffen wir können noch einmal wieder kom
