I can’t say enough good things about Amalen. I found it on Air B & B and so I expected almost no interaction. Our stay was 5 star in every way. Jacob and the rest of the staff cared for us. They were so helpful. The breakfast was amazing and each day they knew we were headed out, they packed us a to go box…even on our day of departure. We had the best time and if ever in Crete would only stay with them again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. We can highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a perfect holiday on Crete. We would love to come back anytime! Thank you so much, Eleni&Georgios!

The photographs do not do this place justice! The view of the bay (with a private beach!) is just heavenly and stunning at sunrise/sunset. Artemis and her family/team and extremely welcoming and thoughtful. We even got homemade cake on 2 occasions! The property is cleaned every other day which was an unexpected benefit. The flat has everything you could need for an enjoyable and homely stay. I would 100% recommend staying here. The local town, Rethimno, is very pleasant and it is near to lots of natural beauty spots for swimming/hiking etc.

Kostas met us right outside the airbnb, communication was easy. Gerani is a really cute village. I recommand this place :)

Nikos’s place is probably one of the best houses we’ve ever stayed at. Much better than the photos (which are already cool)!! Nikos is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. When we got there Nikos had left us tons of amenities, water, cookies for our kids, etc. The living room with sea sights is simply AMAZING!! The surroundings are great too. Small walkable streets, supermarkets, bakeries, hand made take out pizza, etc. Thanks again Nikos, we’ll always keep this stay in our memories.

This was our best stay ever with airbnb, and the most beautiful in Greece. The house exceeded our expectations. The locations is awesome. The house is comfortable, spacious, modern, spotless and beautiful. The open views to the ocean are breathtaking in addition to being high above in the mountains. He outdoor terraces aremazibgand the pool iswesome withazing views. This house can easily accomodate 6 persons. Parking is easy for two cars. The place feels secure and very private. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. Located between Rethymo and Chania we felt the location was perfect. We lived every detail provided to us. The hosts were great communicating with us, greeting us and providing all kinds of reccomendations to us. They greeted us with some very nice presents, foid and wine. If you plan to visit Crete this is the pkace to be. If you want an unforgetable stay this is the place to be! We lived every minute of our stay and there are not enough words to Thank our hosts!

10/10 would recommend! Everything was according to the description and worth the price. Our apartament was clean and spacious, very well equipped for daily use. Odisseas & Evita were available and very helpful while sharing their recommendations. The town is small and rather quiet in April but the views and surroundings were most beautiful.

We arrived on Easter Sunday, the most sacred day in Greece, and were immediately invited to a family dinner. Super warm welcome! Everything very clean - and check out super relaxed. Apartment 1 has no separate beds and the bathroom is great but has a really VERY small shower. If you are a little bigger and also a little wider, you could definitely have problems here. The view is fantastic and the kitchen has everything you need. Thank you for the wonderful time!
