Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Pevensey Bay

We stayed here 4 nights. Altho the temperatures outside we quite high it remained really nice and cool inside, which we liked a lot. The garden is really cozy and provides both sun and shadow which makes it a pleasant place to relax. Everything was as described and the flowers and milk provided were welcoming extras. The only criticism we have is that the countertop felt a bit sticky and that the cupboards are quite cluttered and we had to search sometimes to find what we needed. Overal we would definitely recommend staying here.

Spent a lovely and peaceful family weekend at Simone’s place. Upon arriving the Airbnb was very clean and tidy, looked just like the photos with some added personal touches in the kitchen (thank you). A lovely view over the beach which was so much calmer and peaceful in comparison to others beaches further along. 10 minute walk to the high street with some very nice independent shops. Simone was flexible on checkout which was great for us as we had nice weather the weekend we visited. 🙂 Would highly recommend, and I would definitely return!

Just experienced the most perfect 3 day stay, in an absolutely ideal location in Rye. A spotlessly clean, stunning character filled property with low beams, wonky walls and sloping floors, which all add to it's wonderful charm. A very responsive, helpful and kind host, who really wants you to enjoy your time there. No questions too hard and always a very warm prompt response from Becky. We would 100% recommend this property and host, if your looking to book the perfect getaway in Rye. We loved our time in Sam’s cottage. It was close to the beach and Rye with great walking. The house had a lot of character, was generously sized and had a well equipped kitchen. We loved all the vintage touches. I would recommend anyone wanting to be near Rye to stay here.

We were a group of 6 friends, and had a very nice stay in the Lighthouse. Our host was very helpful and assisted when we first had some issues with the WIFI connection. It was a lovely space, easy walk to a couple of restaurants, we tried the Owl, which was very nice with lovely food and friendly staff. 15 minute walk to the main part of the Camber Sands, but you can access the beach earlier to. We chose to walk into Rye, which is a lovely town, with many places to see, eat and just relax. But it is also easy accessible with bikes or a car. The full walk is on a path, and you never need to walk beside the road. Once back to the Light House we spent the afternoon in the garden which had sun all day. The house was tastefully decorated with a better quality furniture than I have experienced in other Airbnb's before, and some nice touches with locally produced cakes and biscuits on arrival. We would happily recommend the Light House for a wonderful stay.

The view and access to the beach was lovely.

Had an amazing short break in this lovely little place close to the church in the prettiest village. Loved the bath and the log burner in the evenings. Clemmi was really helpful and even arranged for us to use the garage to store our mountain bikes. Would return for sure.

We LOVE this place! Super relaxing, perfect surroundings. The garden is fabulous, we made the most of the sunshine this weekend!

Had a lovely stay at Pine tree Woodland retreat. It is in a wonderful setting down a very quiet lane , we did miss the house when we arrived, as our sat nav told us the property was on the left but it was on the right, but with the very good instructions from Paul and Louise we soon found it. We were warmly greeted by Louise and her lovely dogs. It has been beautifully decorated and furnished, with everything you would need. The photos don't do it justice. We had a very peaceful sleep. The garden is amazing , my 8 year old granddaughter had a lovely time on the swing , trampoline , hammock and then we were fortunate enough to have a swim in the heated pool . Would highly recommend staying at this property, we only stayed one night, but wished we had stayed longer. Thank you very much Paul and Louise.

We loved our stay in this immaculately converted barn. It is huge, plenty space inside for when it was raining. The pond and the jacuzzi were a real treat, and the games room was used by everybody. We loved our barbecues outside, overlooking the valley, listening to the chickens. And we couldn't believe we had breakfast with still-warm-from-just-having-been-laid eggs! We would have loved a dryer or a bigger outside drying rack for all our wet stuff, as we had a toddler with us, but that didn't spoil our fun. We will recommend this beautiful place to our friends!

Julie is an ideal host, very friendly and responsive. The static caravan is very well equipped with a kitchen, 2 toilets, one with shower, and a sizeable lounge /dining area. Would book again. David Maxwell

We had a lovely week in Plantagenet and really cannot recommend it enough; the cottage really exceeded our expectations. The garden is phenomenal. It was a private and tranquil escape and our collie thoroughly enjoyed doing laps of the large garden despite the rainy weather. We loved it from the moment we arrived and didn't want to leave. The cottage is well equipped, has a great cosy ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor game options no matter what the weather. The communication with Tim&Maite was friendly and responsive, we particularly appreciated the slightly late check out. We are hoping to book again soon with more of our family joining us.

Larissa and her partner were so friendly and welcoming. The beautiful little cabin/pool house is situated next to the main house in their garden, which is surrounded by well kept wild gardens and a forest which is very relaxing. The pool is great and really well looked after, Larissa was kind enough to let us know when she intended to come down and use the pool when we were sitting by it. Comfortable inside calm space, with the kind touch of a few eggs and some tasty jam left in the fridge. All the utensils/pans/plates you need for cooking on the hob, just need to bring along your teas/coffees and any little bits :) You can also take a lovely little walk straight from the garden through the forest and into fields, we just enjoyed sitting around the pool and taking some walks. Very relaxing few days. Thanks so much.

Safe to say was an amazing stay and couldnt have picked a better place to stay. Great cottage and to have a swimming pool as well topped it all off. Would highly recommend to anybody.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful location - the view was incredible across the South Downs. All the amenities we needed for the night and the bathroom was very luxurious. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

What a beautiful little pad, it's absolutely perfect for a place to sleep, make a cup of tea and relax. Excellently equipped, tidy and clean and only a short walk from shops and eateries. Will be returning !

A quiet loft room in a characterful house and area, very convenient for all you may need. Kitchen and bathroom excellent. The room is well ventilated, necessary at the end of a recent heatwave. Comfortable bed, plenty of room.

A very professional lady looks after this cottage. Everything thought of and immaculately clean. An old cottage but no musty smells of damp, or cobwebs. Truly one of the best cottages we have ever stayed at, certainly in Willingdon! Lights in the garden so you can enjoy the garden at the end of the day, just perfect! I could go on, thoroughly recommend a stay in this cottage you will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend stay at Jennifer’s place with our 11 & 8 year old children. Perfectly equidistant between Sissinghurst & Great Dixter. The house is so cute and had everything we needed. It’s down a lovely quiet road and was so peaceful and overlooked trees and fields. We also had dinner in the local pub (Bell) which was lovely.

Lovely stay at this property - it had everything we needed including a great view to the Dungeness lighthouse. Hosts were really helpful and responsive. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Victoria’s cottage and the stunning location was absolutely superb. Victoria couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming and went out of her way to make for a fantastic stay. The cottage and grounds are beautiful and a short distance away from the lovely village of Mayfield. It’s clear why everyone rates staying so highly. I’m looking forward to a return visit soon.
