Loved my visit to Jiannis’s place! Jiannis is a great host, helpful, responsive, and generous, as are his family who live nearby. The apartment is spacious and well-designed. Particular highlights are its large, modern bathroom and its outdoor terrace, which has a great view of Archanes’ colorful, picturesque houses on one side and of Mount Juktas on the other. The terrace’s cool evening breeze is perfect in the summertime! Jiannis’s place is also in a prime location, a short walk to the town center, where you can find great cafes, tavernas, and grocery stores, and it has easily accessible parking. I stayed in the apartment for several weeks, and found it was a wonderful base for a long-term stay. I highly recommend staying here!

It is a beautiful house, decorated with great taste and very well equipped, even in the small details (bed and house linen provided, shampoo and soap in all bathrooms, the necessary products in the kitchen, and even the basic groceries: sugar, coffee, salt, pepper, olive oil of course, all the little things that we use on a daily basis but that we will not need to buy). The house is located in a peaceful village, on a hill overlooking the olive trees and vines, with the mountains in the background. It's a very relaxing place. Nearby you can find a baker, a grocery store, a butcher, everything you need to shop without going to Heraklion. Georgios is a considerate and very responsive host, always committed to making sure the stay goes smoothly. 5 stars amply deserved, to be absolutely recommended if you pass through Crete.

We had a pleasant stay in Heike's surprising roof house. Heike herself is a very nice and helpful host. The location in the village is great and Archanes is a great base for various trips.
