Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Philipstown

This beautiful property has a special place in our hearts. We stayed in the A frame during COVID and we always wanted to come back. This time we stayed in the main house and it was phenomenal. Wish the weather was better for us to use the pool, but next time! It well worth the price. Only an hr from the city and it feels like a full vacation. Wonderful way to lose time time for a few days. We will be back!

Lovely place with lake views. 100% happy with this choice vs other offerings in the area. House is set on a hill so you are viewing the lake from a higher spot than if you were literally on the lake. Very majestic. There are binoculars on the window sill to check out boats/things going on. I enjoyed the decor/sense of style the host has. Lots of interesting books, art, turntable, board games, cards, etc. The gardens, koi pond are well maintained. Rooms and bath upstairs do have lower ceiling but this info is disclosed in the ad. It didn’t detract from the experience. Went hiking but we were not avid hikers so learning to read the trail markers was new for us. The town is very small but we found nice spots to eat/visit nearby. We did use kitchen and coffee maker. Appliances are very new. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Cool hairdryer. Host def. appreciates design. Thank you for letting us stay a few extra hours past check out. Wonderful time! Felt like I really got away from the stress.

This is a lovely house very close to New Paltz. We had a nice long weekend with the kids and loved spending time in the pool. Susan was a great host. No complaints!

Our stay was exceptional. We were visiting for graduation at West Point and I loved being so near West Point during the action of graduation week. I don’t think you could dream up a better grad week location. The house was well equipped for hosting celebratory lunches/dinners. It also provided easy access to “walking” breaks from family and to laundry etc. I loved the location! Bin was a caring host. It was obvious that he had/has a common sense hosting style. Plenty of parking available. Beds were very comfortable. Baths were lovely. We enjoyed the porch in between the unseasonably cold rain storms. I loved this house! Thank you, Bin!!

This was by far one of the most wonderful Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. We, along with our guests, were impressed by all the thoughtful decor touches in the in the home, the clean space, and the stocked pantry. Plenty of cookware, coffee, tea, etc. if you want to cook in the home. Otherwise it’s just a three minute walk from Main Street and all the wonderful eateries Beacon has to offer. Tatiana was very responsive and welcoming!

What a beautiful place! It’s exactly as described in the listing, but even more peaceful and private than expected. We sat on the front patio in the morning and evenings. We regularly saw deer and humming birds, and listened to an owl one night. Kristin is a polite host who communicates exceptionally well. 5 stars all around! 👏🏻

Ari’s home was cozy and quiet. We had all we needed for a relaxing writing retreat. Spearate spqces to focus and a table big enough to gather at for meals. The whole space had a peaceful and serene vibe and was a great escape from the city. Would def recommend.

My husband and I had a great stay at Andrea’s place. It’s well located, quiet, and well decorated. Andrea was very communicative, kind, and thoughtful. Her check-in instructions were also very clear and she made herself available for us to ask for any recommendations, if we desired. Highly recommend!

Such a perfect location for a weekend in new paltz and the views from the patio/hot tub are absolutely spectacular. Ami was a great host!

This is our third time staying at Kelsey & Nicholas’ lovely place. Very centrally located and in a walkable area. The new bathroom is gorgeous! The remainder of the place is clean, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed for a weeks visit! Will be back next time we are in town💛

We had a lovely stay at Ann Marie’s place. It’s just like the pictures, and she absolutely deserves her super host rating! She was friendly and incredibly responsive, provided recommendations for the area, and told us everything we needed to know. The place was clean and stocked with all sorts of extra amenities you don’t usually find with Airbnb (snacks, travel toiletries, extra towels, hotel bathrobes, wrapped chocolate by the bed, water/milk/juice in the fridge, and more). We had a lovely swim in the pool and enjoyed wandering around Beacon and surrounding area. We would love to come back! Thank you so much, Ann Marie!

Absolutely loved our stay here. The home is very beautiful and clean! Felt extremely comfortable and at home as soon as we walked in. Amazing hosts as well, they were very accommodating to what ever we needed and very responsive. I personally loved that beacon is only a 12 minute car ride, there is so much to do over there. And the scenery around the area is soo beautiful. Very peaceful and quiet at night. 10/10 definitely recommend, I would definitely book again.

What a beautiful place to stay in the Hudson Valley. The view from the property is just breathtaking. Dan’s place is very clean, open and beautifully furnished. We can’t wait to come back!

Great cozy spot to visit family, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and the highway. The apartment has a private entrance from the main house and has everything one would need for a stay.

The Modena House was perfect for our trip. We wished we had the chance to enjoy the outdoor aspect a little more, however time and weather didn’t cooperate with us. The place is adorable, a great kitchen, nicely decorated sitting room, bathroom and bedroom made for a lovely stay. The hosts are top notch! We hope to stay again in the future if we are in the area. I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Vernon, New Jersey, right by Mountain Creek. The one-bedroom space was exactly as described in the photos—clean, cozy, and inviting. The accommodations, including the pool and hot tubs, and sauna were fantastic and easily accessible. The host was very responsive to messages, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Nothing bad to say about the place! Loved the pools and hotub!

Great Airbnb! Great Host! Perfect for visiting West Point

This was a perfect stayfor the wedding weekend we attended. Location was perfect host was fantastic and the atmosphere was just what we needed. I would recommend this condo and host to anyone.

It is a great location, with plenty of things to do in the immediate vicinity. The unit was quiet, clean, comfortable, and provided everything I needed for a week long stay. The owner was very responsive to any query, and I did not have any issues with the unit during my stay. I'd work with Henry again for a future stay in Vernon, NJ.

Came up from NYC for a chill weekend and the place was perfect. Peaceful with amazing views — exactly what we needed to relax. The room was clean and just like the photos, and all the amenities were great. Would definitely come back!
