Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Damiano et son épouse. Le jardin offre une vue sur l’Etna et la campagne environnante. La maison se situe en voiture à environ 1h de Catane et de Syracuse. La réserve naturelle de Vendicari est à 1h30. Nous recommandons ce lieu plein de charme situé à proximité de Mineo joli village typique.

Bonjour, Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans la maison de Virginia. Au programme : repos et découverte des environs. L’emplacement idéal nous a permis d’accéder facilement à Raguse (30 min en voiture) et Noto (55 minutes). Les 2 villes emblématiques de la Sicile baroque ! Pendant les heures de forte chaleur, nous avons profité de la piscine et du jardin parfaitement entretenus. Cela fut appréciable en plein mois d’août ! Nous précisons que maison est bien équipée : machine à laver, lave vaisselle, sèche cheveux pour le plus grand bonheur de toute la famille.… inutile de venir chargés, il y a tout ce qu’il faut ! 10 times better than our highest expectations. Perfect place to visit the real inland Sicily, Enna, Piazza Armerina, Villa del Casale, Caltagirone of course and all villages perched on the mountains. Authentic Sicily, restaurants, ceramics, products of the land. Agrigento and Syracuse are easily reached, as well as Etna, Ragusa, for day trips. And the house is so beautiful, the garden so enchanting, that we wanted to extend our stay just to enjoy being lazy there. Nice welcome gift (succulent bread and local cheese), dream kitchen (fully equipped), great and easy communication with Valentina and Carla, warm and easy check in and check out... We have been in many houses around the world for our trips, this one is really in the top ten for us.

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Haus war genau wie auf den Bildern und eine richtig schöne Unterkunft. Die Aussicht am Pool war mega und unsere Kontaktperson hat immer schnell auf Anfragen reagiert. Ich kann mich nicht beschweren und empfehle diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter

Dette var vores andet ophold i Skønne La Pietra. Efter et fantastisk ophold sidste sommer måtte vi tilbage igen. Huset er fantastisk smukt placeret og med den skønneste udsigt og den dejligste pool. Her er fredeligt og smukt og al kontakt med de skønne værter fungerer upåklageligt. De er meget fleksible og hjælpsomme og Salvatore var så sød at komme med frisk frugt plukket på ejendommen. Der er korte køreture til smukke historiske byer og seværdigheder og lækker mad på det lokale pizzeria lige i nærheden. Havet ligger en lille times kørsel væk og strandede er både meget børnevenlige og smukke. Vi glæder os allerede til næste gang - for vi må bestemt tilbage til dette skønne sted. Tak for endnu et skønt ophold :-)

The scenery around the villa is outstanding. Looking from the terrace and pool area you can see straight up and down a valley which is lined with olive trees. It really is beautiful. The villa was spacious and suited our family of 5 (including a toddler). We enjoyed the pool in the hot August weather. There was a basket of goodies for breakfast left on our arrival which was a nice touch. The whole place was very clean. From the villa you can drive to lots of bigger towns (Ragusa, Modica, Noto) and also to the beach, all within one hour. You definitely need a car for this location though.

Der Aufenthalt in diesem superschönen Ferienhaus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist mit sehr viel Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtet, der Pool ist sauber und man kann gut schwimmen. Die Unterkunft befindet sich inmitten vieler Olivenhaine, es ist ruhig und man kann sehr schön spazierengehen. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und waren immer gut erreichbar. Eine große Empfehlung von uns!

Je zal helemaal ontspannen in deze villa! Er is een prachtig uitzicht en je zit helemaal rustig. Wij waren met 5 volwassenen en 1 peuter, waarvoor er gemakkelijk een babybedje kon voorzien worden. Alles is aanwezig in de keuken en de buitenkeuken is zeker een troef. Er werden lakens, handdoeken en zwembadhanddoeken voorzien. Het zwembad is gigantisch!

Fantastisch verblijf gehad met z’n 8en. Heerlijk weer, mooi zwembad, alles perfect verzorgd

Our Stay was a 10/10. Antonio and Carmellio were amazing hosts. No matter at what time they were here to help. We really felt at home. The house was perfect for a chilled holiday for a group of friends. The kitchen is a dream for cooking for a big group, well equipped and a lot of fridges and freezer. The Conservatory is so beautiful and with a lot of love on the detail like everything in the house. The pool is amazing and really big aswell as the beautiful surrounding area. You should bring some slippers to walk on the grass around the pool because are many small wild plants to step on. The Dogs on the property were the most cutest and well mannerd dogs, we loved to have Lilly around us and she made our holiday even better. Even though we weren’t the only ones on the big property we had all the privacy we needed and nothing to worry about. Thank you for the nice holiday:)

We absolutely loved our stay at Dario’s house. The place is stunning and easy to find. There’s a lovely beach only a block away where my kids played and swam easily. The house is equipped with everything you need and more. Perfect for families! Would love to stay again on our next visit to Sicily.

We had an amazing time at Dolce Villa. It is a true little piece of paradise, perfect for our family get-together before our wedding in Sicily. On top of the amenities already mentioned, the owners also have a small shop with necessities, food items, and they're also able to provide fresh produce from their farm. They live on site and are extremely proactive. Getting to the villa can be a bit of a challenge with a narrow downhill road, but the destination is wort it.

The welcome from Sabrina and Mario was really attentive and friendly, the house was full of pretty little nooks including a mini terrace off from our room with a small fountain - we also loved the two impressive vase basins in the bathroom. The garden was lovely, we were able to relax under the trees and enjoy the pool. Many thanks again for being so generous and making our stay a wonderful few days. Eleanor&Sylvain

Magnifique villa, idéalement située à une vingtaine de minutes de Catane. Le logement est spacieux et bien aménagé pour les grandes familles. Les hôtes sont réactives et arrangeantes. Je recommande à 100% cette villa et espère pouvoir y retourner une prochaine fois.

Supermooie plek, geweldig uitzicht aan alle kanten. Iedere dag enorm van genoten. Het huis is ook fantastisch. Met 10 personen nee comfortabel en in alles is voorzien. Vriendelijke host ook! Wel ligt het huis afgelegen, de dichtbijzijnde supermarkt ligt op 25 minuten rijden.

we had a wonderful time on the island in this house! altho it is a bit remote (15 minute drive to the nearest town) it made it only the more peaceful! the pool and the amount of space more then make up for it!

Salvatore ist ein super netter Gastgeber. Sehr zuvorkommen, höflich und absolut bedacht, dass man einen tollen Aufenthalt hat. Wir haben die Zeit bei ihm sehr genossen und kommen ganz bald wieder. Die Anlage ist richtig schön angelegt und gepflegt. Spätestens jeden 2. Tag kommt er morgens früh ganz unauffällig und reinigt den Pool und gießt die Pflanzen. Wenn man Ende September, Anfang Oktober kommt, kann man von vielen Bäumen ganz viele verschiedene und ausgefallene Obstsorten naschen. Es gibt 4 Schlafzimmer. Der Neubau mit 2 separaten Schlafzimmern, der gerade einmal 2 Jahre alt ist, ist jeweils mit einer Küchenzeile und Bad ausgestattet. Leider spiegeln die Fotos nicht im vollem Umfang die Schönheit des Grundstückes wieder. Das wurde uns natürlich erst bewusst, nachdem wir da waren ;) Wir waren jetzt im Juli für 12Tage da. Ein Mietwagen sollte schon vorhanden sein, da es einige Meter außerhalb von Giarratana liegt. In dem Ort bekommt man jedoch alles was man benötigt. Zu Fuß erreicht man in wenigen Minuten ein schönes Naturschutzgebiet und ein ganz tolles Restaurant. Es wurde sogar daran gedacht, einen deutschsprachigen Verwandten mit zur Übergabe zu bringen, welcher auch viele tolle Ideen und Infos über das Land geben konnte. Das einzige Manko, was uns persönlich ab und an etwas gestört hat, waren die Hunde in der Nachbarschaft, die Nachts gerne mal ein „Konzert“ abgeben haben… Das Grundstück ist ansonsten sehr groß und die Nachbar sieht und hört man fast nicht. Und was wir noch anmerken möchten, was uns ebenfalls sehr positiv überrascht hat, dass für den ersten Einkauf gesorgt war, und wir nach der Ankunft nicht direkt einkaufen fahren mussten. Wir waren mit 5. Personen da. Absolut verdiente 5 Sterne. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall ganz bald wieder. (Wieso etwas neues nehmen, wenn man altes zu schätzen weiß) ;-D

we had 21 family members staying at this beautiful home and there was plenty of room, the house is beautiful the pictures don't do it justice. The caretaker stays on the grounds and was amazing and very helpful, we would love to stay again at some point. the house is very clean and beds are comfortable. and the owner answered all my questions right away. thank you again for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

We had a few great days at Mauro's place. The house is really big and the surrounding plot is massive. It's got a great swimming pool and a terrace for breakfast/dinner overlooking the pool with a wonderful view over the surrounding hills. The place is located on a small unpaved road but we had no problem finding it on online maps. The area is quite remote so you will need a car but the surrounding scenery is beautiful and the coastal beaches are about 30 minutes drive from the villa. We would happily recommend Mauro's place to anyone looking for a calm relaxing stay away from busy towns. Communication with Mauro was great from booking to the check out.

We had a lovely week at the villa! Private and quiet, cozy house, and very nice pool area. Has everything you need for a relaxing holiday ;) You need a car to get around. Nicely situated to visit other towns - we drove to Catania, Taormina, Syracuse, Noto, Ragusa and Modica while staying at the villa (Catania is only a 20-25 min drive, the longest drive was 1,5 hrs to Ragusa).

The place is amazing and well equipped. The outdoor area is fantastic. It is all private, extremely well kept and the views are amazing. The pool, outdoor lounge area, the front patio and the outdoor kitchen area are all comfortably furnished and pleasant. There are lots to do with the pool, giant chess, football court, darts etc. At the same time the small authentic village had ice cream, small grocery shop, pizzaria and another small restaurant within walking distance. We loved our stay and the host was extremely helpful.

Valentina and Steve are two incredibly welcoming hosts. We felt very comfortable and welcome from the very first moment. The room is beautifully furnished, and the villa is also a dream. There are lovely spots to relax and a stunning pool. The freshly prepared breakfast, prepared with so much love, was delicious. Big praise for Steve's omelet. We highly recommend the accommodation and would love to visit again. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

We kunnen niet anders zeggen dan dat we ontzettend genoten hebben. De rust, de fijne sfeer, het heerlijke eten, het zwembad en het fijne appartement, het was allemaal geweldig. Het appartement was iets anders dan de foto's. Hoog en ruimtelijker, met een eigen terras en een grote parasol met een vrij uitzicht. Hele aardige mensen. De kok kwam steeds even om het hoekje kijken om te genieten van hoe de gasten van zijn maaltijden genoten. 5*!
