We had 15 family members on this trip and this house was perfect. Very spacious and we did not feel crowded at all. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. The short walk to the lake was easy enough for my 6 yr old granddaughter and we all enjoyed the beach toys supplied by the host. We definitely recommend this comfortable and family friendly home.

Carmel Cottage on The Lake

Michael is a great host. He has maintained the property really well and super neat and clean. The lake is beautiful and the kids as well as adults enjoyed it a lot. We started missing this house as soon as we left. Will come back for sure.

Our multi-generational family had an absolute wonderful time in this fabulous place. The house was very clean and well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Coffee in the mornings and card games in the evening on the beautiful deck watching the local bald eagles hunting across the stunning Pine Mountain Lake was magical. The water toys were amazing - we have tried every one and enjoyed. First time for the kids and in-laws doing paddle boarding and kayaking. This has been a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation and we all hope to return again soon.

Great place to stay and a lot of activities near by. The entry free was 50$ per vehicle which sounded off due to 3 vehicles but the community is worth the price. The deck was not clean and the kitchen utensils had stains and all steels products. Felt little inconvenience as there was no shampoo and conditioner though the rent is high. But overall the stay was good.

We've stayed at 8 times at 4 different houses over 10 years at Pine Mountain Lake and this house was the best by far. Excellent communication by the hosts. They stay here regularly so everything is well thought out. We were one family but it could easily accommodate 2. And a Bald Eagle joined us for breakfast on Memorial Day!

Beautiful home. We enjoyed two very peaceful days on Pine Mountain Lake. We were able to take the kayaks and SUP to the swimming beach several times. Kids loved the board games supplied in the house. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Grocery store nearby.

Home is located on a shallow cove. Grill is a charcoal grill not propane. It is a comfortable, clean home. The games and basket ball hoop were appreciated with 2 small children and no power for a full day. I would recommend more flashlights or a lantern for power outages. Plenty of sleeping spaces. A little pricey when all the fees are added in for what it is. Nice area, peaceful.

Had a family get away for the winter break, beautiful, peaceful home. Comfortable, large master on the ground floor great for anyone who needs to avoid stairs. The hot tub in the back felt private. Only needed caution outside due to the weather so the stairs by the parking spot were slippery.

What a wonderful experience! Kanwar was an outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. So happy to stay here very clean & good place to stay. Kitchen had enough utensils/bowls/glass for big group, we were 16 people including kids. I recommend staying at this place with all my heart. Spacious rooms, outside view is spectacular.
