By car, you can reach major cities such as Pisa (30 minutes), Florence and Siena (60 minutes) or Garfagnana and Apuan Alps (50 minutes). Casale Paradiso is the perfect spot for couples and anyone who wants to discover the real Tuscany – a combination of sea, mountains, history, great food, and a slow-paced lifestyle. We are located in the small and quiet village of Buchignano, far from the tourist crowds. The nearest stores and restaurants are about 8 minutes away by car, so having your own car is essential for a comfortable stay. It is thanks to this location that you can fully enjoy the peace, privacy, and authentic atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside here.

Beautifully restored Podere Consani lies in an idyllic setting amongst well-tended natural gardens,(lavender,roses, lemons and herbs) that lead into the adjacent olive groves, vineyard & woodland, in the hills between Lucca and the coast. The house shares a swimming pool with the one other cottage. The owners take great care to ensure guests are happy during their stay. Podere Consani is set in this oasis of peace, it is however only 15 minutes before the majestic walls of Lucca come into sight.
