We absolutely LOVED our stay here. It was located in a more local area about 30-40 minutes from downtown Chania. We were surrounded by stunning views in the mountains. It was quiet, peaceful, and private. Sofia greeted us with such a friendly welcome and a delicious home cooked meal. She was very responsive too. We also enjoyed her local restaurant recommendations. The home itself is beautiful, it was lovely learning about its history and how beautifully traditional the home was kept yet equipped with many updated amenities. Note that renting a car is a must! We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

The villa was truly as described. When we arrived we were greeted by the hosts, who were incredibly warm and welcoming. The kitchen was well appointed and the area is perfect for families or really anyone looking to walk everywhere, including to a great beach and countless restaurants. Maria nous a très bien accueilli et s’est montrée disponible et réactive tout au long du séjour. La villa est située dans un endroit calme et offre une très belle vue sur la mer et La Canée, qui est à environ 25min en voiture. Idéal si vous venez pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis !

Anna und Andreas sind phantastische Gastgeber. Eigentlich halte ich mich mit Bewertungen zurück, aber die Unterkunft und die Gastgeber sind einmalig. Die Location ist einmalig und für eine kleine Gruppe von vier Personen phantastisch. In der Nähe gibt es ein kleines Dorf in dem es neben einem Supermarkt und Bäcker auch eine kleine Taverne gibt. Zum Strand sind es ca. 15 Minuten. Anna und Andreas sind immer erreichbar und geben wertvolle Tips für Ausflüge, Restaurants und alles andere in der Region. Wir werden garantiert noch einmal versuchen in der Villa und den Gastgebern vorbeizuschauen.

Die Ferienwohnung war topp, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Gute Lage zwischen Flughafen und Chania. Besonders hervorheben möchte aber die sehr gute Kommunikation und Lösungsorientierung mit Effie. Ich hatte die Ferienwohnung für unsere Tochter (war damals noch 17 Jahre alt) und ihr Freunde gemietet. Effie war von Anfang an offen für diese Buchung und hat alles sehr positiv unterstützt. Sie war immer sehr schnell erreichbar und hat uns immer das Gefühl von Sicherheit gegeben. Als unserer Tochter wieder Zuhause war, hatte sie nur Gutes und Wertschätzendes zu der gesamten Reise geäußert. Effie war auch mehrfach in der Ferienwohnung und hat wertvolle Infos und Tipps mitgeteilt. Es war einfach alles nur sehr schön. Lieben Dank Effie!!

we stayed for one night in this beautiful villa and couldn’t have asked for better! It was private and peaceful, and check in was super easy! Our lovely hosts were so flexible with check-in and left us some treats for the stay, and then left us to be at home. It was so nice and clean and was so comfortable, we felt Right at home. Would absolutely come back. Thank you for having us!

Ein absolutes Superhost! Die Villa ist wunderschön. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und würden uns jederzeit erneut für die Canna Villa entscheiden. Yannis ist jederzeit erreichbar und ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber.

Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. Atemberaubende Aussicht! Das Haus ist nagelneu, es entspricht genau den abgebildeten Bildern. Der Pool ist sehr groß & tagsüber gibt es einen perfekten Mix aus sonnigen und schattigen Plätzen. In der Nähe gibt es viele kleine Tavernen, man musste nie weit fahren. Ganz klare Empfehlung für diese Villa, sie ist perfekt & wir würden jederzeit liebend gerne wiederkommen!

The villa exudes luxury throughout with thoughtful details that ensure a high level comfort during your stay. We couldn’t make full use of the pool (price to heat was a bit high) but our daughters were braver and took a few quick dips. We stayed over Easter and planned visits into the local town and surrounding area to immerse ourselves in the celebrations and communities which was so memorable. We’d definitely love to stay again- it was a wrench to leave!!

An unforgettable stay at Villa In Vivo! Our experience at the Villa was nothing short of exceptional. The villa itself is pure luxury - spotlessly clean, tastefully designed, and equipped with everything one could possibly need for a relaxing and carefree stay. What truly made our holiday special, however, was the incredible hospitality of our host, Panagoula. Even before our arrival, she was in touch with me, patiently answering all our questions and making us feel welcome from the start. We were greeted with such warmth at the airport, and upon arrival at the villa, we found delightful culinary surprises and a beautiful selection of fresh fruit waiting for us. The mid-stay cleaning service after four days was a lovely touch, and we are especially grateful for Panagoula’s tireless support after the stormy weather – and for the delicious, healthy meal she brought us during the week! You and your family are the best! Highly recommended – we’d return in a heartbeat. Thanks a lot!

A lovely, luxury appartment near the beach and about 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Chania. A well-equipped, clean and beautiful appartment, but above all the warm and friendly hostess Anastasia. She guided us around the area, brought local delicacies, stocked the fridge with food and even drove us to the grocery store with her car. We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. You certainly wont't be disapointed!

absolutely loved staying here. the views were gorgeous. had a small hiccup with the water when we checked in but as soon as I messaged the host the water was up and working within 15 minutes. very responsive and very helpful. definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay for our honeymoon. It felt like being at a luxury resort! Christian even recommended in-home massages that we did on our first day after 20+ hours of travel and it was fantastic. The bed was super comfortable (I had back surgery so a good bed is important when picking a place) and with the total blackout curtains we got amazing sleep especially needing to adjust to the time change. We ate at Tersanas Tavern twice as it was an easy 15 minute walk away. You will need a car to get around staying here - and it’s more “off the beaten path” but we loved the privacy and space and wasn’t too far a drive to Chania. If you’re adventurous make sure to hike the Samariá Gorge - we organized it with a group (the drive is not for inexperienced driver!) it’s a 10 mile hike but so fun and beautiful! We cooked and stayed in a lot too I would highly recommend it to couples or families with children.

Our stay at Mikes place was amazing! He is the best host I have come across, he replies very quickly and is so helpful in my attempts to navigate Crete, supplying bus timetables, restaurant recommendations, etc. He met us at the airport which was sooo appreciated when traveling alone with two little boys, and it really helped us find our feet in our Cretan adventure. I could only book 5 days as the house is very popular and when I got there I could see why! It is spotless and has all the amenities you need, the layout and design of the house is fantastic, it is an open plan which is ideal for a family and you are surrounded by mountain goats, the therapeutic sound of crickets and a fantastic view of the bay. The pool is brilliant, it is spotless and private - with your own bar/ outside shower and shades/ sun loungers - we didn’t need to leave the house. I recommend driving but the shops/ restaurants are not far and the beach’s close by are outstanding (Murathi). ‘Elcharisto’ Mike!

La casa es espectacular, estuvimos súper cómodos. Fuimos un grupo de 10 y había espacio de sobra para todos, varias zonas comunes y dos espectaculares terrazas con piscinas. La vista realmente te deja loca, es una preciosidad. El anfitrión fue súper amable con nosotros en todo momento y nos dio recomendaciones estupendas. El propietario tiene un restaurante cerca donde se come super bien también, y fue muy acogedor con nosotros. La única pena es que solo conseguimos reservar 3 noches, ojalá habernos podido quedar toda la semana. Muchas gracias por todo chicos, nos encantará volver

The stay was amazing! Amazing host and AMAZING location!! They were so helpful with telling us where to go and what to do and even gave us fresh eggs from their chickens as a welcome gift!! The views are unmatched and the pool was the best lounge area. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone going to Crete!!

Wir waren als Gruppe von 7 Personen in der Unterkunft und sind sehr zufrieden mit dem kompletten Aufenthalt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat immer super funktioniert und bei jeder Frage wurde direkt geholfen. Eine Sache, die ich jedem empfehlen kann, ist ein Mietwagen. Die Lage ist super ruhig mit tollem Ausblick, aber für Aktivitäten sollte man mobil sein. Am besten direkt schon zuhause einen Mietwagen buchen und vom Flughafen starten. Eine sehr schöne Anlage und definitiv einen Urlaub wert.

We had a lovely stay at Stelios Villa. Incredible beautiful surroundings, it’s a short walk into Kalyves, we didn’t realise until day 3 but there’s a small parade of beach bars and restaurants if you walk a bit further than we had been for first 2 days. The stay was lovely, the house was beautiful. We really enjoyed the village and it’s relatively slow pace. Stelios was very responsive to messages and very helpful too.

What a wonderful stay!! Barbara and her family were amazing hosts - they really make you feel at home. The property is a beautiful oasis close enough to Chania town while also being a private escape with an incomparable back yard pool area overlooking Suda Bay. We never wanted to leave the property in the evening. The large pool and seating area was a lovely gathering place for our large group
