We were two small families sharing the Villa Gamba part of Byron House. The house was perfect for sharing with friends or family. Very spacious and with many bathrooms. We really enjoyed the access to the river and the well equipped kitchen. We didn’t use the garden as much as we would have liked to, because it was high summer and the heat and the mosquitoes was a bit too intense. However, I have to say that even with windows open all night (no AC) the mosquitoes surprisingly were no problem at all in the house. The beds were beautiful and comfortable and everything was very clean and inviting in this very authentic villa. The road is just outside the house, but it didn’t bother us. Several parking options. The communication with Janet is very easy and thorough. For example the garbage sorting is a bit intricate, but Janet’s guidance is very helpful. We also enjoyed the town and the local public pool. We spent a week at the house but were aching to stay longer. Thank you.

We stayed at the house for one week with 9 people. The house and the property are really big. What we valued and looked for was a house with no direct contact to other people and that is what we got here. The surrounding city’s like Florence were easy to reach with a car within 45mins, but we also had days just relaxing at the pool/house that were amazing.

What an incredible place! Teresa thought of everything to make our stay comfortable with a useful handbook covering all the essential information so please make sure to look through it! The three double bedrooms provide plenty of room and comfortable sleeping. The pool is the jewel in the crown with clean water and breathtaking views. The umbrellas were also very welcome in the hot sun. Make sure to stock up on food and drink in the big supermarkets as the local shop is quite expensive and not open every day. The 20-minute drive from Bagni do Lucca is not for the faint-hearted, as it’s a mountain road with plenty of blind corners, but you do get used to it and it’s worth it for the views and the quiet of the villa when you get there! All in all we had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend the place and the host!

I visited Italy for the first time on a family trip. It left a very good memory for my family. Although the accommodation was a little remote, The host was very friendly. I really appreciated the active communication and quick response. They immediately gave us feedback on what we needed. The most important thing for me in a listing is cleanliness, and I really want to give this listing 100 points in that regard. The bathroom and bedroom were very tidy and clean. Beautiful villa in amazing surroundings, very helpful and nice host. Barga and surrounding mountain villages are lovely with amazing views, a good test of the driving skills getting there!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautifully located villa! We were a group of six family members, and we made full use of both kitchens and living areas, the many outdoor seating/dining options, and the swimming pool. We spent much of our time there outdoors admiring the views and soaking it all in -- it was a wonderful place to relax for a week. Do know that there is no AC, but even in the heat wave we had it was not a big issue, as the nighttime breezes help cool the upstairs sleeping quarters (the main floor was always cool). It proved a great location for day trips to other towns/sites in the region and/or for walking into the town of Brisighella itself. Marco was very helpful with recommendations and tips.

We couldn’t believe our luck, when we arrived at Lo Scopeto. Such a beautiful place. The views, the pool and the house. The house is even more spacious and pretty than on the photos. It’s clear that this is more than a rental. The fact that the owners use the house themselves means that they have thought of everything to make you feel welcome and entertained; a fully stocked library, comfortable beds, lots of kitchen utensils (not a given with airbnb rentals) and spot-on recommendations for the area. We loved our stay here and warmly recommend it!

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. We had a wonderful stay with our group of 12. The pool is really a gem, especially with the warm weather. Great agriturismo's in the neighborhood for food and even a free electric car charger at the supermarket down the road!

What a beautiful place in the centre of Barga. Between the old and new towns you get the best of both worlds. Gioia was more than helpful and gave us lots of recommendations. Highly recommend the Cantina del vino for wine tasting with Rita - within walking distance but might want to consider your return journey after the wine! Cannot wait to come back to Barga. It’s has my heart.

Our extended family stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed the house and the area. Very comfortable with ample room for our family - 3 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms - there was room for everyone. Tredozio is a cute town with ample restaurants and typical Italian shops. The butcher and the delicatessen are the best. If you need it there is a brand nAme supermarket only about 10 minutes away.

We had a wonderful stay this weekend! The place was very nice, exceptionally clean, and felt private and peaceful — just what we were looking for. Everything was exactly as described, and the host was great to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again!

We spent 6 days at Giulio's, the accommodation is superb and spacious. The outdoor space is very nice, well maintained, the pool is clean and was highly appreciated at the beginning of August. Florence and Bologna are easily accessible from the accommodation, as well as lakes and hiking trails. Siena is further away but can be done within a day. Thanks again to Giulio for the quality of the hospitality and responsiveness!

We had a great time with Giovanni who immediately made us feel at home. The farmhouse is well-kept in every detail with a wonderful view of the Bolognese hills. Thank you for these relaxing days! We'll be back.

I cannot recommend Ylena and her beautiful home highly enough. La Casa dei Ghiri was the perfect location to celebrate New Year's Eve with a group of friends. Franco, the host, is a very helpful person who helped us from the beginning with all our doubts and made us find everything we needed for breakfast, as well as some drinks. The house is large and beautiful as shown in the photos, immersed in the Tuscan hill and perfect for getting away from the work routine for a few days. Before entering there is a bright veranda that has a fireplace with grill, the rooms are large and spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped and equipped with any type of pot and pan, one of the living rooms has a working fireplace, while the one upstairs is perfect if you need a good Internet connection. Internet works well downstairs, but only in certain rooms. We had a great time and will gladly come back in the summer to use the pool!
