House holiday rentals in Placencia

We loved this place. The view is spectacular. Only small suggestion I would say is to put a little refrigerator in the casita side for cold waters and small items. Thank you for a wonderful week.

All I have to say is...PERFECTION!!! We've been renting airbnb's for over 10 years and this has been the best yet. Great location, well taken care of, clean, responsive friendly hosts, great amenities and the most well stocked place I've experienced. I can't say enough great things about this place.

Phil's place is a great location for exploring Belize without the tourists! Centrally located in the southern part of the country, it was within an hour of great little villages like Placencia, Dangriga and Hopkins, as well as the mountains and cayes for hiking, zip lining, snorkeling, caving...you name it. It's off the beaten path, nestled in a reserve so be prepared for driving on dirt roads to get there, but hey, it's Belize, so that's common and you'll get used to it. We drove from Belize City so didn't take up Phil's offer to rent his personal Jeep, but you'll definitely need an SUV (that's all rental companies provide anyway). It's a good place to stay if you are allergic to tourists and want a nice quiet, peaceful home with all the amenities....but close enough to drive in for dinner or drinks with expats or tourists if you get lonely. Phil's house was super clean, safe, beautiful, comfortable and well provisioned. We stayed with our two teenage boys who loved the pool and the beach club with access to the ocean, paddle boards and kayaks. We had it to ourselves most days! There is no cable TV (which we loved) but Phil's got the most amazing collection of movies (1,000+) so you won't be bored (movie night was every night!). Since it's a bit remote, you likely won't be going out to eat every day, so stop by a grocery store in any of the towns on the way in or the surprisingly well-stocked store on the community, including a case of Belikin beer in a returnable crate (THE beer of Belize).

Staying at Villa 13 at Seabird was a dream! The Airbnb looked exactly like the pictures and it felt as if though I was right at home! The host, Johan was very responsive, kind and accommodating! I enjoyed my stay and will be returning in a few months !

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit mit zwei Kids, der Pool und die Bar samt Essen sind super, die Leute freundlich und die Hütte genau richtig. Die Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein, aber das hat trotzdem gut geklappt. Chris hat uns gute Tipps gegeben und sogar geholfen, weil wir Dinge dort vergessen hatten. Danke! :)

We had a great time in Placencia. The place was perfect for our needs - spacious, comfy, clean linens, and had all the amenities we needed. It was nice to walk to the resort and have access to the pool and restaurant. Vincent was responsive and checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure we had what we needed and to make recommendations. The house is a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. Overall a great stay in Belize!

Great property with many options for multiple families/groups. We had a group of 18 and rented 3 houses, all just steps away from each other. The space has a perfectly small pool, nice deck area, and is so quiet. It was clean and looked exactly like the photos. We did not get daily maid service and every house in our group ran out of necessities (toilet paper). The water from the faucet is drinkable and the toilets can take toilet paper. The showers don't get super hot, but are soothing with hot weather. TV/wifi was easy to navigate and Beth was extremely responsive. The kitchen does not come stocked with any food/spices. Pick up salt,pepper, butter, oil if you intend to cook. I highly recommend you ask for a cook for some meals. A breakfast fed 16 people and was $150 usd (and delicious). Rent a golf cart & pay to have it dropped off and picked up. Lots of fun to be had in this house!

Ann’s place was immaculate in every way. The furnishings, amenities, cleanliness was some of the best I’ve come across on Airbnb. The house has everything you need, nothing is overlooked. There is a caretaker on property who is always on site to help and make suggestions when needed. I would highly recommend this house and its location.

We had a beautiful time. Everything was just as described, sitting on the terrace listening to the waves was so delightful. Herbert was extremely responsive and very helpful—not that we needed anything from him! It was a great experience.

Perfect beachfront spot on Maya Beach. One of the best Air BnBs we've ever stayed in.

The unit was very nice and I loved hanging out on the 3rd floor looking out to sea at sunrise. Candace and Rick are amazing, very helpful with finding tours and great food to eat. Already planning a return visit for later this year!

Beautiful home away from Home, very spacious to accommodate my entire family of 11, very safe environment we slept with our doors unlocked the entire stay. quick responses from host 24/7. Host followed up we me after check In to ensure me and my family was setting in nicely. Very peaceful and extremely quiet didn’t have to deal with too many locals. Great restaurant recommendation’s. Food from the Bistro at Maya beach hotel was delicious, which was in walking distance. .I will be back to stay again sometime soon.

we loved our stay private and gorgeous sunset views. Quiet location but walkable to many restaurants beaches etc. well equipped to stay in for meals if you choose. we loved our stay here and would definitely come back.

Kat was an amazing host ! We were pleasantly surprised at just how beautiful her place really was ! The space was impeccably clean and she was very accommodating. The pictures don’t even do justice. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay !

This place was great. Stayed with 7 people, three kids under 7 and four adults, two different families. The set up was great for that since we rented out two levels and so families could be separate. The houses both have heat pumps so can cool the house. The downstairs does not have one in each room so having a fan on will help cool it down. Being right on the beach was great and the water is shallow so kids could play easily and not worry about them. there is a lot of seaweed which is to be expected at points, but if you walk out like 4 feet into the water there is no debris and fine. Having access to the dock is amazing as well as kind of like a separate area where you can feel secluded. We also went on a boat ride and fished and snorkeled some which was great as just took the boat from the dock so did not need to go into town. Grocery is like 10-15 minutes away that is bigger and has everything you need and one like 5-10 that has most stuff you would need. Placencia is like 30 min.

Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus. Sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet, mit einem traumhaften privaten Strand. Alles roch gut, es gab praktische Hinweise für die Anlage. Orlando hat uns stets geholfen und sogar gegen ein bisschen Geld zum nächsten Supermarkt gefahren. Denn das ist leider der Nachteil an diesem Haus: Es gibt rundherum NICHTS. Kein Laden, kein Restaurant. Man hat absolute Einsamkeit. Wenn ihr her kommt, braucht ihr zwingend ein Auto. Das wurde uns trotz Nachfrage im Vorfeld leider so nicht mitgeteilt. Abgesehen davon haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Dana’s place met every expectation and then went and exceeded those expectations. Everything described in the listing is on point. Dana communicated clearly what we needed to know for check-in, how to get to her place, how to get in, where everything was located and made herself available to answer any and all questions. She just happened to be around while we were there and it was immediately clear that she cared about her guests feeling at home and enjoying their experience in Belize to the fullest. Bed was comfortable, but I do personally prefer a more firm pillow. Any/everything you could need in a kitchen is at your fingertips. Overflow fridge had a couple of things that we were able to use without having to run to the grocery store. I’ve never stayed in an Air BnB that was so well-appointed. Only thing missing would be a golf cart for guest use. Maybe not viable with a multi-unit place but only thing I can think to add. Thank you Dana for making our trip unforgettable!

We enjoyed our stay and the house was very cool with many amenities. We used the kitchen and laundry a lot and had plenty of space to spread out.
