Very happy with our stay in Marseille thanks to Kevin: great host, great flat and we loved the area, many thanks!

Really attentive and proactive host, checking everything was OK during our stay- probably the best I've had on Airbnb - and clear instructions for checking in and out. Easy to access with a late arrival, as the keys are in a lock box. All exactly as per photos and very comfortable. Walkable in about 20 mins from main train station, if you are taking the airport bus and very close to the Old Port which we wanted. I would agree with someone else's comment about the 2nd bedroom loft space - you might need to be careful with the steps up for young children, same with elderly people but you can see the steps in the photos and you can easily swap bedrooms if you need. Definitely would stay here again, highly recommended.

Diane’s communication was excellent, check-in and check-out times were flexible and the apartment itself was great. The location is ideal for everything you’d want to do in and around Marseille.The apartment is equipped with everything you’re likely to need and was super clean and spacious. Can definitely recommend and would happily stay there again.

The apartment is renovated and clean and at a great location. Everything was perfect for a short stay and walking distance to the touristy areas of the city. If the check-in was self checkin it would’ve made things a little bit smoother but everything still went great

We had a wonderful stay at Jean Mathieu's beautiful place in Marseille. Check-in was easy, with Jean Mathieu greeting us at the entrance and showing us around, we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. One of the reasons we chose this Airbnb was for the secure parking as we had hired a car to drive around the South of France. Parking spot was safe and secure, giving us peace of mind for the duration of our stay. Another huge plus was how spacious and clean Jean Mathieu's place was, and the amenities was as listed on the page. So grateful to have access to a washing machine after a few weeks of travel. Overall, an absolute 5 out of 5 star stay. If you're looking for a place in Marseille that's walkable to all major attractions, but in a more peaceful part of town, I'd highly recommend this. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

Apartment as described Fred welcomed us with a smile and gave us a lot of very practical advice for our stay. The apartment is in the immediate vicinity of the old port and you can do everything on foot. We will come back as soon as possible 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The accommodation was perfect, very clean, very well located, quiet enough thanks to the double glazing, spacious for one person. Eric came to greet me in person, which is a plus for me. I will return with confidence.

This is an extraordinary place in Le Panier, with an exceptional terrace view. You have a 360 view of the city with an espectacular picture of the cathedral of Marseille in front of you. But, the most important part is the apartment. Jean-Michel take care of any detail possible of this place. We were 5 persons, and we were very pleased with the amenities. I can’t wait to come back to Marseille and to stay here again. Steps from the water, surrounded by restaurants and activity while still preserving privacy, this is a gorgeously designed oasis. I was visiting with 4 friends, and we were all so comfortable and happy. The hosts are extremely responsive and helped us along the way — can’t recommend highly enough if you want a beachside city getaway.

Very comfortable, modern, very peaceful and quiet - but what stood out most was the incredible views, of the sea with homes and trees on a lovely slope, and the beauty and tranquility of the garden and pool area. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Anna’s place was great—the house is beautiful, well-equipped, and located in a quiet, walkable part of Marseille. The terrace and garden, with a pool, are lovely and perfect for relaxing. One thing to note: the neighbor’s dog occasionally came into the garden. While it was friendly, it’s a big dog that might not be ideal for guests who are uncomfortable around dogs.

We had a wonderful stay in Marseille. The apartment was very clean with everything you need. The garden is wonderful and ideal for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. We would book the accommodation again and again.

After staying here I thought twice about who I gave 5 star reviews in the past. This was hands down the best air bnb we have ever stayed. Ben greeted us when we first got to the place. He knew we were traveling from a beach day in St Tropez and had a prosciutto / tomato charcuterie waiting for our family when we asked through the door which was just so sweet and generous. All toiletries were present and available and kitchen was stocked to make meals and things. Beach and snorkeling gear also available to guests. Locations in Marseille is super easy to access. Lovely Mountain View from the patio is lovely as well. Super comfortable place with high end finishes and decor that I would choose myself in my own home. Has a dryer that works!!! Dryer is so rare in France it seems. I can’t say enough about the host or place. We had a great time and felt so welcome by Ben and it just set the mood for Marseilles. We are thinking of coming again and will definitely stay with Ben!

We had a great stay at Paul's, in Vallon des Auffes. The place is simply enchanting, and the terrace of the apartment allows you to fully enjoy every moment. In the morning, the atmosphere is peaceful around the small port. During the day, swimmers pass by to reach the magnificent "sea pool", just a few steps away. In the evening, the surrounding terraces slowly fill up as the sun disappears behind the arches of the Vallon. The apartment is simple but comfortable, with quality bedding in the bedrooms. For people sensitive to noise, it may be useful to provide earplugs if you sleep in the room on the port side. Paul is a very welcoming and caring host. We strongly recommend their listing. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Our stay at Bord de mer Vallon des Auffes was truly magical and we would love to return someday! This one-of-a-kind house is beautiful and spacious. It was a lovely, comfortable retreat for our two families to stay in while we explored Marseille. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the kitchen was fabulous! We enjoyed multiple meals outside on the balcony. The location of the house is perfect for accessing via public transportation and it is within walking distance of several beaches and sightseeing destinations. The hosts are truly wonderful and made certain that our stay was amazing. They were quick to respond and helped us greatly during our trip. We loved our stay and very much hope to return to Bord de mer Vallon des Auffes again someday!!

Aside from some initial mixup with the instructions (wrong house number given to us) when communicating, everything else was as expected. There's an easy public transport connection with the train station. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The lift works well. We really enjoyed the stay and would consider this apartment again when in Marseilles.

I had a perfect stay in Marseille thanks to Alexandre, who is a very good person and host. He helped me to receive a parcel, and also with the check in. I also really recommend this apartment, wich is well located, clean and well equipped.

The accommodation is very welcoming, you feel very good there! The neighborhood is very nice, especially all the shops around the small square. an incredible view of Marseille from the apartment! Claude was very accommodating for the arrival and departure time!

We loved are stay in Marseille! The apartment was very clean and the we had every amenity we needed. The place was centrally located with easy access to the Old Port and beyond.

Great location for visiting Cassis. The apartment is well laid out, well equipped and very pleasant for a stay for two. The only problem is the bell tower of the nearby church, which rings every hour even in the middle of the night and can annoy those who are not used to it and who like peace and quiet like us

It is perfect place to stay in Marseille, beautiful surroundings with beach nearby. Everything was clean. I would highlight the seating on balcony - very pleasant. There is bus station (10 minutes from apartment) from which you can go to the city centre.

We had a great time at Valerie and Daniel. The apartment has a perfect location and the view is absolutely stunning! Cassis is such a jewel and we would love to back there and to the apartment! Best, Hanna and Jimmy
