Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Plainview

It’s a place to stay to travel back in time a bit. I loved the original structure of the farm house. The surroundings were rural and peaceful. We didn’t get to enjoy the breakfast, we had a tight schedule, but I did get a sneak peek of the setup, which looked well organized and reminded me of a smaller version of “farm to table” experience.

Debbie was perfect host, and delightful person! She thought of everything anyone would need, plus wonderful homemade goodies. Exceptionally clean and organized apartment; decor was exceptional as well. She was quick to respond to any questions. Emmy Lou, her dog, was a bonus, adorable! The area was peaceful and quiet, lovely wooded neighborhood. We enjoyed our visit and will stay there again.

We had a great stay for my husband’s birthday. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and the farm is lovely. I also can’t speak highly enough about the breakfast option. You’ll love it!

Place was very beautiful and was such a nice area, definitely recommend driving over to Columbia during your stay. Place was a bit more renovated than the pictures which was a nice surprise.

Gleydys was the best host ever! She made us feel so welcome in her home and provided the most delicious breakfast which was a bonus! She shared wonderful history with us and offered great suggestions for surrounding activities and sights. We fel so much love from her and I will definitely return to stay with her again. She's the Best!!!

Great stay! The small cottage had everything we needed for our getaway for 2 plus the dogs, including items to make ourselves breakfast. The pups really enjoyed running around in the fenced yard and we enjoyed being welcomed by the chickens. Host was responsive and accommodating.

This is our second stay with Joseph. Will return again. Easy access, lots of stuff to do in the area, great communication, and the house and furnishings are very comfortable. It's clear that the property is well maintained and cared for.

Our family stayed at David's Airbnb, so we could attend NHRA at Thunder Valley. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. While staying we seen many deer and a woodchuck in the back yard. Also see a silver fox near by. Lots of good restaurants around and they have an amazing skating rink near by. Would definitely stay at this home again. Check-in and Check-out were easy also.

Excellent value for price. Beautiful comfortable home in a walkable neighborhood. Felt super safe the whole time. There are so many cafes to choose from and a dog park within walking distance. Host was super friendly and accommodating. Loved it!

A very peaceful getaway for me and my wife, it was very quiet and the hot tub was amazing would recommend !!

Just what we needed. Quiet stress free getaway!!! Easy check in and laid back. Enjoyed the goats and cows right off the deck. I like to take photos so this was a must for me. Explored the pond and some of the wooded area around the property, saw deer and all kinds of birds. Got some great photos. Coffee cake was the best cake I’ve ever had and the home has everything you need to have a comfortable stay!!!

The house is awesome, it was very comfortable for four people, everything worked and the place was super clean. Very happy with the stay.

Absolutely gorgeous farm property. Perfect for a tech free getaway. This was our favorite bnb of our entire roadtrip. Fantastic views of the stars. Loved waking up to ducks quacking outside our window and roosters letting you know they are there. The log cabin is very small and quaint but cozy. Ray and rosemary were extremely friendly. Would recommend this spot to everyone. Very little service in the area but we didnt even notice looking at everything going on at the beautiful property. Will be returning just for this canin!

This has to be one of the most beautiful places to stay in Red Bay. And with the nicely landscaped backyard with privacy fencing it was perfect for our two dogs to run around in. In fact, we just left the door which opens to their backyard open so the dogs could come and go as they wanted. They would chase each other, come in to get a drink, go out and lay in the grass then start all over. By the end of they day they had big doggy grins but couldn't keep their eyes open! Big comfy king-sized bed and full amenities including a washer and dryer. This place was perfect for a stay while our RV was being repaired.

Our stay was PERFECT. We got exactly what I wanted, to be lost in the forest to shut down a bit & resurfaced at leisure. A beautifully crafted basket & note awaited us with SO many personal touches & catered to our dietary needs. The cabin was beautiful in every way & we loved the hot tub nestled among Denise's herbs (it was so US). From start to finish it felt exactly the vibe I pictured. It was a support for my husband & he LOVED every min! We woke up to our beautiful & active animal friends which added to the feeling of lost in the forest. We visit the many farm stands & local cafes & thrift stores. They catered to everything that was important to us & our cozy stay. I'd do it again on repeat. It was worth every penny & I actually cried a little when we had to check out. It was the disconnect we both needed in the perfect spot we needed it. Denise & Bob are a gift to the tired soul & so is the cozy cabin they share with all of us🩷.

Kelly & Phil were incredible hosts who went above and beyond to give us a comfortable memorable stay! Whether offering restaurant recommendations, stocking the fridge with dairy free drinks and snacks, or bringing a beautiful breakfast of pastries and homemade jam each morning, they showed their thoughtfulness and generosity in all they did. Their property is secluded and gorgeous and has the lovely perk of their two sweet dogs. We’re so grateful they shared their home with us, and we would absolutely stay again any time we’re in the area. We can’t recommend the Cottage enough!

This was a perfect B&B experience! I haven’t stayed in many, but so far this was the nicest one! Everything was comfortable, clean and so well designed. The breakfasts were amazing too! Karl, his partner, and sweet dogs were such good hosts! Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was perfect! Before our trip even started, Roxana sent us a detailed message, telling us how to find the place, how to get inside, and what to expect. Everything was exactly was described. Very clean and cozy! We loved the comfortable bed and the large shower head. I loved relaxing in the large tub with jets. Roxana was extremely responsive to all our messages and was always very kind. Any issues we had (like with the portable a/c) were fixed as soon as possible, and Roxana treated it as if she were entering *our* home- she communicated before, during, and after going into the room. Highly recommend Roxana and this Airbnb!

Loved this place. I wish we would have discovered it 4 years ago when my son first went to Miami University. His home was immaculate and he was extremely welcoming. If you are a guy and need a haircut, he is a phenomenal barber and his 40s vinatage barbershop is really cool. The creek that runs behind his house was great to sit down, relax and meditate. Cannot give it a higher rating.

This place had it all!! Ron and Steven were so accommodating and made themselves available for anything I needed. Hot tub was private, hot and clean. Carriage house is secluded and a 12/10. They even left delicious Blueberry muffins in the kitchen area for our enjoyment. Super super clean, that was nice! They also had invited us to write postcards, with the Carriage House letterhead, so we could send to our loved ones.... they put postage on the envelope and mailed them as well. Just the best of three best at The Carriage House! I cannot wait to come back in the Spring/Summer to hit Kansas Crossing Casino (4 mi away) and enjoy their beautiful patio when all plants are outside and thriving weather is warm. You would be missing out to not book this place, for real. Just a wonderful getaway, thanks guys ❤️❤️😎

Highly recommend!! Great location and the cabin was immaculate. Ethan and Brooklyn were very responsive with questions we had and recommended local restaurants and activities. Will stay with them again on our next trip to the Smoky Mountains.

This place was awesome! Felt very private despite being attached to the host’s house. The jetted tub was awesome and well-maintained. The addition of the record player was unexpected but pleasant. The guest parking was good. Felt very secure with the locking system on the door. Overall a really great space if you’re looking to explore what Springfield has to offer!

Unforgettable experience, beautiful surroundings and super friendly family. Definitely going back soon
