This was our second stay and we will def be back. The property is beautiful and peaceful and has gorgeous porch views. The house was cozy and kitchen fully stocked.

My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary and had the perfect time there. It was very peaceful and quiet. The place was easy to find, very clean, and great quality kitchenware. We recognized a lot of IKEA items. We really enjoyed grilling steaks that we got at a local butcher right down the ride, recommended by the host. We also really enjoyed the very clean jacuzzi. This place was just 25 minutes from downtown Asheville, and about an hour and a half from The Pretty Place Chapel, where we got married. There are hikes only a few minutes away where we got to see wild roaming cows at a top of a mountain. We also took a drive to go see Dry Falls waterfalls and it was the most beautiful waterfall we have ever seen. All in all , it was a perfect getaway. Definitely recommend this place.

We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends. I love that the place is very private. There was plenty of room for me and my husband and our four teenagers. It was close to Helen.

My friends and I enjoyed our weekend getaway at The Runaway Chalet. The driveway was a little tricky due to recent snowfall, but April suggested an alternative approach to enter driveway. We plan to return next year!

We had a great stay! The house was quiet, secluded (but not "scary"...there were other houses around, but not right on top of us lol), and had the perfect relaxing vibe that we were looking for. It was a 20-25 minute drive or less to everything that we wanted to do. It was well stocked and had tons of space and fun activities for the kids! We would love to return next year!

Tom’s place is an excellent option for large groups or families. Located right along the French Broad River overlooking the northern extent of the Biltmore Estate, this place offers good views, very comfortable accommodations, and plenty to do both within the AirBnb and nearby. We were just a short distance from all Asheville has to offer, making getting to and from a breeze, even with a group of 10. If you’re looking for a sizable location for a weekend away, check out Tom’s place.

We had a very peaceful stay at this rental home—just as described, and perfect for a relaxing recharge. It’s a great spot for a family getaway, and even our dogs loved it. Highly recommend!

I’d give 10 stars if I could! The stay was great and the host is very friendly and genuinely cares about their guests experience. Sides notes that I always look for in reviews if I want to stay somewhere- -the beds were very comfortable -The internet works great -Water pressure is wonderful, loved the big rainfall shower head. -fridge and all kitchen appliances were spotless - kitchen is stocked with all you need to cook, including salt pepper and had spices as well. -fire pit works great -hottub works great and was very clean -hosts are wonderful

What a fantastic home - everything we were looking for. Plenty of room for our family, space for relaxing inside and outside, and a warm, wonderful feeling of home. Combining the charm of an older home plus the modern conveniences. Jonathan was always one step ahead of us giving suggestions, while quick to respond to questions. As we were packing up, we were already making our plans for our next visit. I highly recommend staying here.

Had a wonderful time staying at the cabin with my extended family! The layout of the cabin worked well for us and the kids couldn't get enough of the game room. We had regular bear sightings and enjoyed how easy it was to get into town and the national park. The house was clean and Andrew was very responsive if we needed anything. I may be slightly biased in my regard for the incredibleness of this cabin, as this is where my soon-to-be-husband proposed(!!!!), but it was a fantastic getaway. Incredible views are available from the kitchen, main living space, upstairs loft, and lower level (including the hot tub). Great access to nearby trails for quick hikes, and we took a morning trip to Warm Springs to visit the Omni Homestead Warm Springs, which was well worth the trip! You won't have ANY cellphone service, so be prepared to be unplugged from the world. Lauren was responsive for check-in needs and other questions/support. I am so glad we got to spend time with friends and family at this lodge!

This cottage was exactly as described and all that we had hoped for. It was spotlessly clean and had everything that you need to just stay in and enjoy the view of the water, marina and surrounding hills from the covered porch. The kitchen was fully stocked, and there were extra towels and blankets and pillows if needed. Or we could walk down to the dock to fish or just sit on the benches by the water.

Our group of 13 which had 3 families with 7 kids really enjoyed this house. Our favorite part was the location to skiing. Although not officially a ski-in/ski-out, the slopes were within walking distance and much easier for our younger skiers to access. The house was clean, fully stocked and provided enough beds for our large group. Would definitely recommend bringing your 4WD vehicle if snow is predicted during your stay as the driveway is a little steep. We plan to book again for our next Hidden Valley trip!

Absolutely loved our stay at the A-Frame for a birthday weekend getaway! The privacy and stunning views were truly unbeatable. April and Chase were incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions I had. I’ll definitely be back in the future, highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic escape!

Our large group had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend at Stacy's beautiful home! The spacious kitchen, large dining area, and cozy living room were perfect for gathering and spending time together. Although the weather was cooler than usual and we didn’t get to enjoy the water, we made the most of our stay with plenty of other IBK activities—pickleball, the 5K/2-mile fun run, relaxing in the hot tub, and the Sunday night concert were all highlights. This was our 17th year renting at IBK, and Stacy's home had the best kitchen and entertaining space we've experienced so far! The lower-level bunk area and large sectional couch were ideal for our teenagers to sleep and hang out. We’re already looking forward to the chance to rent Stacy’s place again!

Jerry was an incredible host. He was very helpful and his home is nice and cozy. We loved every second of our stay. The dock was so beautiful. The home is even nicer in person. And the price is so affordable. We loved our stay. Thanks so much for the wonderful trip Jerry!

This a-frame is a dream! Quiet, safe, gated community with lots of windows and a patio overlooking a pond. The beds are comfy and the place is extremely cozy. The gate is staffed by security 24/7 and they will request your name and all of the names of the people in the car with you in order for entry so make sure you know who is staying ahead of time.

We loved Carrie's place on the lake! Highlights were camp fires, fishing, meals on the deck and family time. I did bring food, and supplemented a few things from the DG Market for our group of 8. Thanks Carrie!

Lovely setting on the lake; felt like living a dream while looking out the oversized windows. Chalet was definitely a welcoming location with overall home design and plot privacy. A remarkable stay to be sure!
