The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

This is a great quiet lake community. Our property has a lake on one side of it and a river on the other. This cabin is so spacious, woody, and comfortable. The beds are all memory foam and very nice. In the area, people kayak or canoe the river and lake, airboat on the North Loup River that flows by. We have an airboat ramp for use. The area has many fun things to do. A Distillery, a winery, a few restaurants, horse racing nearby in Grand Island. There is much more! 3 miles of gravel to travel.

Mama Jen's Platte River Getaway

This unique cabin that sleeps 12+is nestled in the trees on the banks of the platte river. There is plenty of room outdoors to hike, kayak, & just relax next to the fire pit with river access just steps away from the front door. The cabin has a master bedroom, a bunk room to sleep 6 with an additional sofa sleeper, & a loft queen bedroom. The living room has a big sectional plus a giant bean bag that can sleep more. The cabin is stocked with everything you need other then yourself & groceries!

This quiet & serene riverfront house is the perfect setting for a family, nature lovers, fishermen, anniversaries, friends retreats, or honeymooners! Newly remodeled in 2018, we can sleep up to 12. Located just a couple of miles outside of Elkhorn & directly on the Elkhorn River, this is a nature-lovers haven! Local restaurants, shopping & other amenities in Elkhorn, Omaha & Waterloo are within a few minutes drive! Our place is a smoke & pet free home! Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas only.

Located in farmland but not far from the village of Dannebrog, where you’ll find great pizza and fresh baked goods. There is also a fine grocery store with all the essentials. If you need a bit of retail therapy, Grand Island is only 20 minutes away. There you will find most everything including the Crane Trust, a crane sanctuary.

West Fork Acres - A Cozy Cabin By The River

This little cabin sets on 57 acres of grassland which runs along the West Fork of the Big Blue River. Trees and wildlife abound and create a beautiful relaxing area to get away from the routine of everyday life and unwind. This is a one bed room cabin with a large wrap-around deck and a patio table and charcoal grill are great for a picnic. Inside is a spacious living room, full kitchen, bathroom with shower. Large master bedroom has sitting area, queen bed, and a jacuzzi tub.

River Bottom Lodge is a newly built lodge designed for large groups of people to be able to stay in spacious comfort. With 4 bedrooms, 7 beds the sleeping arrangements are comfortable. It has 3 bathrooms with showers. While lounging there are spacious living room arrangements with space and comfort in mind. RBL has an outdoor firepit and a beautiful setting in the morning and evening filled with central NE sunrises and sunsets. Lots of wildlife viewing for your pleasure.
