Monthly Rentals in Playa Avellana

Jorge is a great host. Everything was up to par for what we paid for and 3 min walk to the beach. He helped us first day in less then 30 min. Pura Vida!

We had a great stay and hope to go back. Here are a few of our highlights: - House was perfect for a week long vacation in Avellanas for the 4 of us (parents plus two teenage sons). The kitchen was well stocked, the AC kept things cool at night, and we loved having AM coffee on the patio listening to birds and monkeys. - We very heavily used the community pool. We were the only ones staying in our group of homes around the pool so we had it to ourselves each day. It was cleaned daily. - It was a long walk to the beach (20min) so we often drove to the maintained parking lot by Lola's and paid the modest $4. (The fee helps maintain the beach access so it seems well-worth paying each day.) Because it was still walkable, we'd often walk home, leaving the kids with the car to finish up a surf session... it was nice to have that flexibility. - The gated community with guards felt very secure, but the overall area also felt very safe for our 5-7 mile runs, evening strolls, and more!

such a beautiful peaceful place. close to the beach, surrounded by garden, peaceful, quiet, has everything you need. spacious and clean. the hosts, Gabriela and Richard were such friendly, warm, and open people. thank you!

Our stay was overall very nice and pleasant. The location was excellent, just a two-minute walk to the beach, which was incredibly convenient for our family. You can really feel the love and care that went into creating the space, everything felt intentional and thoughtfully put together. We also appreciated the flexible check out accommodations especially traveling as a family. There were a few concerns that impacted our comfort. The window screens were torn, so opening them to get fresh air invited critters inside. On our last night, we found a small scorpion just a foot from our bed, which was quite frightening. Additionally, when we arrived, the smell of disinfectant was overwhelming, strong enough to give us headaches, which made us need to air the space out immediately. But with the damaged screens, that came with its own risks. We also experienced mosquito bites inside the room.
