Beachfront holiday rental in Playa Carrillo

We were looking forward a remote location to settle for some months. This was a great sanctuary to be alone and explore the empty beach. The WiFi was very good , even when other local services were unavailable. The neighbour made us delicious food when requested. A great adventure.

Very comfortable, simple place was exactly what we needed for a few days in San Miguel. Easy arrival, exactly as described, and everything was cleaning and working.

Could not have picked a better place to stay in Santa Teresa. The host was very responsive and helpful with local recommendations. Place was cleaned daily and located in a great spot. You will need a lifted vehicle to get to and from the place due to the road conditions.

This place (the loft) was absolutely beautiful and sits in the most lush beautiful tropical gardens. This is a typical great Studio Saxe tropical modern design. It is central to most things and we walked to everything over the weekend but if you want to explore some of the other beaches there are tuk-tuks you can easily take. Nosara has gone through some major renovations - with brick-paved streets and drainage. At the end of dry season this area of Guanacaste is always much greener than other areas like Tamarindo. The beach is great. The atmosphere is great for a chilled and relaxed weekend (or longer) getaway. The interior design is incredible and there is everything you would need. Plenty of places to sit and relax inside and outside on the oversized terrace that looks out over the tropical gardens.

We had a wonderful time at Scott and Natalia’s place in beautiful Santa Teresa! We stayed at 3 places in Costa Rica, and this was by far our favorite. The location was absolutely perfect and walking distance to everything, including the beach. It was very well maintained and they even suggested an amazing excursion. We rented ATVs and went to Montezuma and a ton of small towns on our own, with their suggestion. It was our favorite day of the trip! Lots of monkey and wildlife by the pool, and beautiful beach across the road. Do not hesitate to book this 100000/10 Airbnb. Great price too! Thanks again Scott and Natalia! We will be back with friends we hope.

We really loved the peacefulness of this condo. Being away from the tourist destinations, quiet, and a beautiful view was just what we needed. Perfect to just relax, enjoy the beach, and recharge.

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in Latin America!!! This home is comfortable, luxury and with everything we need. The location can’t be any better, we didn’t have to rent a car or ATV because it was very easy to get to places. Beach and restaurants are all less than 5 minutes walk. The balcony of the house is so magical, we enjoyed seating on the balcony watching the rain, enjoying the trees and sometimes we can see monkeys from the balcony. The house is very quiet, clean and spacious. Free cleaning service every 4 days. Alejandro was super helpful and responsive! We really felt this is one of the best places to stay in town! We really enjoyed this home!

We had such a lovely time staying at Casa De Celeste. The property was absolutely gorgeous and in close proximity to town and adventures. It was the perfect getaway before our wedding. The caretaker Vincente was so kind and very helpful. He truly made the place feel like home. We will return and are looking forward to that day. I highly recommend this property.

Our best stay in Costa Rica and we wish we could stay longer! Federica and Roberto have created a great space to relax on in such an exciting town. The yoga is good for all levels and is every morning. It’s a close walk to the beach and right next to plenty of restaurants all while being nicely secluded. The pools is very refreshing and private with only 4 total units on the property. Can’t wait to go back

Loved staying at Katie & Happy’s place! It was a little walk from downtown Tamarindo, but we loved making the walk and noticed a lot of people utilized the scooters all around or had rented golf carts, which we would have opted for if we brought our kids. They provided beach towels and chairs that we used often and a filtered water pitcher in the fridge so that saved us on purchasing bottled water, which was so helpful. There was a little market close by and several amazing restaurants. The pizza place across the street was the best pizza we’ve ever had and I went to the nearby snack shack for açaí bowls and coffee almost daily. Langosta was a beautiful area to stay in with close private beach access. We were also able to walk the beach to Tamarindo at low tide. We loved this place and location and would definitely stay here again! Thanks Katie & Happy!

The place met our expectations, we had the opportunity to walk to the beach because it is so close. Access was easy and there are shops (restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, etc.) quite close. My husband and I had a great time! Thank you both for your attention and prompt response.

The little blue house is exactly what one needs. Has a working kitchen, quiet, and best of all the beach is right there. It was nice to have a peaceful place to return to after busy excursions into the cities or whatever else. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely visit again

I can't say enough good about Carlie and her place. She's the most responsive host I've ever encountered in my years using Airbnb. I don't know how she manages to be so endlessly patient, friendly, accommodating, and responsive. She'll text you back in a nanosecond with directions, tech support, and recommendations. Carlie strives for perfection in her interactions with guests and her property. I could NEVER DO what she does - so I have mad respect for her. She felt more like a friend and a fellow traveler than an Airbnb host. As a note - Costa is an ostensibly safe place, but theft does occur. As with any location, not just Carlie's, double-check the locks and ensure your things are secured. She and the community are very safe, but it's wise to err on the side of caution. Secondly, Santa Teresa is a beach community. If you see crabs or a stray insect, butch it up - you're a guest in someone's literal and geographic home, and yes, that includes occasional, harmless wildlife.

This is my second time staying at this Airbnb. The host is timely with responses and always happy to help. Private outdoor space is an added benefit and location to the north entrance to the beach plus walkable restaurants makes this a prime location if you don’t have transportation. I stayed two weeks, and they provided 2 cleaning services included in my stay. Wonderful hosts and grateful to have found their property.

Staying at Rancho De Linda was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the lush Costa Rican jungle on the beach, it offers the perfect blend of natural charm to fully immerse yourself in the local ecosystem. The property is surrounded by vibrant wildlife — from colorful frogs, friendly iguanas, beautiful butterfly’s, hermit crabs and chirping birds. The views are breathtaking and the sounds of the ocean are mesmerizing — making it a true ecological retreat. Douglas and Irena were delightful hosts. We enjoyed visits from their sweet pup Bambi and loved the availability of the housekeeper. The place is very clean and well taken care of. We loved our Yoga class Irena taught under the palapa and enjoyed the delicious cooking of two local chefs. We drove into Tamarindo for the day and visited the Diamanté Eco Adventure Park for a thrilling zip line. I had a fantastic experience at Trebolmar! Even though I only stayed for a week, I easily could have stayed for longer. Luis was so helpful with recommendations and all my questions, and even helped me arrange dinner on my birthday while I was there (greatly appreciated!). The location is perfect — less than a 5-minute walk from the beach, lots of restaurants, coffee, etc. I would definitely stay again!

This is such an amazing and beautiful spot steps from the beach and so close to the friendly little village. Restaurants on the beach welcomed us to a relaxing meal on those days we didn't wish to cook. We went to sleep and awoke to the sound of the surf. So peaceful! Sofia is a thoughtful engaging host. With the care-taker living on site, we felt well taken care of and completely safe. We look forward to returning!
