Amazing experience in Puerto Viejo! The house is surrounded by nature, making it perfect for relaxing and unwinding. You can hear the sounds of the forest and see animals from the garden, a unique experience! In addition, the beach is literally a minute's walk away, ideal for enjoying the sea at any time of the day. The house is comfortable, well equipped and very clean. The host was friendly and attentive at all times. Definitely a place I'd love to go back to. Highly recommended for those seeking tranquility and connection with nature without leaving the sea!

To start Jerson is a super friendly , helpful and attentive person. And about the place you can walk to the nearest beach, to the supermarket, if you want to go out at night to eat because you prefer to stay in the tranquility of the hotel, Jerson congratulates you an express that offers you all kinds of food. The facilities are very nice , all very clean and super safe and quiet. I would recommend it to the thousand 👌🏽

Daniel went above and beyond to make sure we had nothing short of an amazing stay here in Casa Cocles! Daniel was checking on us through the trip to make sure we knew of the local spots and must-visit areas. He also greeted us with some fresh cut fruit to munch which was very refreshing! The location is at a really convenient spot that allowed for worry-less travel between different activities. We ended up visiting the animal rescuer center, countless Puerto Viejo restaurants, Cahuita National Park, BriBri tribe territory, lots of beaches , etc and these all felt very accesible and easy to get to with or without a rental car. Some tours even offer to pick us up exactly at Casa Cocles for free! We were super grateful and happy with our stay, and will definitely be coming back here for future getaways!

The location of the Airbnb is great if you want to be in a quiet place (there is little going on in Punta Uva). The apartment is located directly on the beach (across the street). There are few neighbors who are not always there, everything is Airbnbs. We found the apartment clean, spacious, it had everything we needed. The communication was great, the hosts are very courteous and nice, quick to respond. We would come again!

A very pleasant night spent in this house in the tree. The accommodation is very clean and has all the necessary equipment. We were lulled by the sound of waves and animals. The accommodation is very well located, 2 minutes walk from the beach. Restaurants and convenience stores nearby. We can only recommend this place to you.

This was s last minute booking and we ended up getting in late at night. Kristel was very helpful at the late hour and we had a terrific stay! It was a little difficult to find in the dark and rain but easy to find in the daytime!!

We came to the jungle villa in 2018. We were so enchanted by this house and the beauty of its surroundings that we knew we would be back again. Came back again for my birthday this year and yes it felt like home!! The people, the FOOD in the local restaurants, and the beauty of this country is amazing! Looking forward to returning someday. This home is a gem in disguise. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful. We came here for a week. It was a long drive from the San Jose international airport but well worth it. Very sweet local town. The people in the town are really nice. The food is absolutely delicious and clean. Ice cream is delicious. We had a wonderful vacation, celebrating our sister’s 60th birthday. We loved having the pool to relax at during the heat of the day. Great kitchen to make breakfast everyday. Grocery store is not far at all. The dog and 2 cats are so cute and sweet. Located in a paradisiacal garden where you can watch countless animals. Marise patiently showed us around and showed us a wide variety of animals. The property is located directly on the sea and Marise even provides beach towels. Another plus is the daily housekeeping. We highly recommend the fabulous place and would be happy to come back any time.

It was a great stay. Pretty close to Puerto Viejo center and to the beach, easy to go walking everywhere. Was very clean and the attention from Jerome was amazing.

What a slice of paradise! We were able to check-in early, and instantly felt right at home. Sylvio, the host, is friendly, funny, and an excellent cook! He made us pizza one night that only compares to what we have had in Italy. He made local recommendations and made sure we were happy and had everything we needed on a daily basis. The property is private, with toucans, parrots, and so many beautiful lizards everywhere. We would drink coffee by the pool each morning and watch the wildlife. We had a Vespa/motor bike to get back and forth into the heart of Cahuita and it was perfect. Otherwise, we did not mind walking places. The beach is directly in front of the hotel and was empty every time we walked down there. We will be back, very soon. Thanks Sylvio!!

We spent 3 nights in Paula's beautiful container. We felt very comfortable. Location was perfect. Between the village and the beach. Everything could be reached on foot or by free bike. In addition, Paula and her husband gave us super good tips. The value for money was very good. We would definitely come back.

Very close to the center of town

Happy House is the perfect name for this oasis! Our family was so lucky to get to stay there. The property is large and private. The covered patio ( we call it a California room in California) was amazing. The indoor/outdoor kitchen and living space was a great place for our family to relax after many adventurous days in Costa Rica. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. There were geckos and bugs in the covered patio area but my boys loved that part! The beach is beautiful but there is a rip current right in front of the house but we walked a short distance in both directions and found great swimmable ocean for our kids. It was a great end to our Costa Rican vacation! Thanks Steve for opening up your special space to visitors! Pura Vida!

Our group of 4 had an absolutely fantastic experience during our trip. The unit is gorgeous and is very conveniently located close to restaurants and supermarkets, as well as being within walking distance of secluded beaches. There were wild animals within the property itself and we were able to take videos of monkeys, agutí (small animals similar to a mini-capybara), and many different exotic birds. The master bedroom is reminiscent of something from a movie with its screened doors and the breeze coming from the water while you hear the wildlife. Both Pablo and Carlos were phenomenal during our visit and were the most responsive and accommodating hosts that I’ve dealt with to date. They went above and beyond what I would normally expect and it made the experience top notch. I recommend this unit to anyone that is looking for a truly unique and beautiful place to stay while visiting the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica and wants to experience the true meaning of “pura vida”.

The house is very beautiful, surrounded by nature. The spaces are spacious and nicely decorated. It’s surrounded by impressively tall trees. In the mornings, you can hear howler monkeys. And just a short walk to the main street, you’ll find many shops and restaurants nearby. Plus, the beach is close too

The people at the lodge are wonderful and made us feel very at home and welcome. Breakfast was really good too. We rented bikes from Mister Joseph and the ride to and from town took about 20 minutes because it is a bumpy unpaved rode but also has few cars and ocean views making it a pretty journey. The beach there is very dramatic with lovely sunrises. Isabelle is very active and engaged with the community and environmental projects and is a wealth of information about Cahuita. Roberto is also a gem of kindness and knows a ton about plants and animals.
