We didn't want this vacation to end! This place was so beautiful and quiet. The pool, bar and outdoor kitchen were perfect. So well designed. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking the grounds and picking up fresh mangoes, coconuts, limes, starfruit and bananas. The wonderful scent of the ylang ylang trees was everywhere. Absolutely amazing. The house was spacious and we loved the doors of every room and the beautiful arched windows. Great architecture! The towels smelt fresh and were of great quality. The welcome book was truly helpful. Any question we had - the answer was in there. Very well done! One week was just not enough.

We booked this place literally the same day we arrived, so we were hugely appreciative of Dells responsiveness. He got the place sorted and ready for us by 4pm. The caretaker Adrian met us on the property and let us in, he was really lovely and also available anytime on the phone to help us with anything. The house was just what we needed. Super private pool with the most incredible views over the ocean. Beautiful birds soaring above the clouds. Agoutis running across the lawn etc. The power was out one night and we definitely appreciated the big bbq and the candles so we could still enjoy our fish from the market. The drive is not for the feint of heart and absolutely requires a 4x4 - but once you’ve done it the first time it’s totally fine after that! We much preferred being up the mountain in the cool quiet air than down in town. Totally worth the drive in our opinion.

An excellent place to spend time as a family, safe, quiet. Very central

This place is a MUST!! It's sp peaceful we never wanted to leave. The town and beach was really close along with some gorgeous waterfalls! The hill going up was a little scary at first and you will definitely want 4 wheel drive especially if it rains but once up there it felt like you was in the middle of the jungle but mins away from society. There was some electric issues when the storm came but Monica was so very helpful and responsive and they had everything you needed. We have shared this with all of our friends and we will be back !

We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning villa in Uvita, Costa Rica! The property is beautifully designed with high-quality furniture and incredibly comfortable rooms. The highlight was the fantastic pool and spacious deck, which offered breathtaking sunset views. At night, we loved lounging on the deck under the glow of red light bulbs, enjoying the cool breeze and ceiling fans. The modern kitchen was perfect for preparing delicious meals, adding to the homey feel of the villa. A charming path from the villa leads to a secluded beach just a five-minute walk away. The beach itself is a hidden gem, surrounded by lush jungle, striking rock formations, and warm, swimmable waves—perfect for a relaxing day by the ocean. The hosts were exceptional, responding quickly to any questions we had and ensuring our stay was seamless. Their warmth and attentiveness made all the difference. We’re already looking forward to booking this incredible villa for our next trip to Uvita! Pura Vida!

My husband and I visited The Sutton back in 2022 when we only rented one villa, we enjoyed it so much we came back March 2025 and rented all three villas for us and some friends. The property is beautiful, Cory and Aly are incredible hosts and the 4 pups on the property made us dog lovers feel right at home. Our friends couldn’t stop raving to us about how gorgeous everything was. Cory and Aly were always VERY quick to respond to all our questions, gave amazing local restaurant recommendations and even made a last minute reservation for us at Gusto’s Italian just down the hill (one of the best meals I’ve ever had) Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or vacation with your friends, I would recommend The Sutton over and over again. We love this place so much and it’s safe to say we’ll be back for a third time someday! Cory and Aly, we can’t thank you enough for being such accommodating hosts for us again!

Everything is exactly as the pictures show. Only downfall was only a/c in the bedrooms. The extra pullout couch/bed in loft did not have a/c so we moved the mattress into the floor of room and used the loft area as a place to keep bags/clothes. No a/c in the bathrooms either was caused for us Americans to be less comfortable. Everything else was beautiful and the hosts were very quick to respond

Absolutely beautiful place. Paradise Pictures don’t do it justice. Sitting on the patio having coffee every morning listening to the sounds of the rainforest is a truly incredible experience. Everything you need is here. There’s a small marketplace and 2 spectacular restaurants about 500meters up the hill. You can walk to them but you better be in great shape. I would recommend driving. Also highly recommend 4 wheel drive vehicle.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Matt’s place. It was the perfect location and had the most beautiful views. We were able to enjoy the whole property as if it were our own, taking in all the beauty it has to offer. We really enjoyed watching the howler monkeys and toucans (amongst other creatures) that frequented the property. The beds were super comfortable and the pool was the cherry on top. Matt is a superb host, incredibly helpful and friendly, he has a real gem here, I would recommend it to anyone looking to travel in the area to not hesitate and book Matts place. You won’t regret it.

Beautiful home. One of the nicest I have stayed in. Pool is spectacular! The View is incredible. Staff is top notch. My recommendation for grocery would be BM in Dominical. Restaurants at the Marina in Quepos. And Restaurants in Ojchal. Please Note if you want to go to the Manual Antonio park you need to make online reservations. We found out the hard way and was not able to go see it plus it is also closed on Tuesdays. I would highly recommend this home.

This home is absolutely magical! Perched atop a mountain, it offers sweeping panoramic views of the ocean and the iconic Whale’s Tail beach—truly one of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever seen. Surrounded by treetops, we were treated to daily visits from howler monkeys, toucans, and other vibrant bird species, making the experience feel like a luxury treehouse retreat. The house itself is beautifully designed and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The negative edge pool is a showstopper—floating there while taking in the endless ocean view was unforgettable. What truly sets this property apart is the host. Incredibly helpful and attentive, he provided concierge-level service, arranging our transportation to and from the airport, a rental car delivered right to the house, and even a private chef who cooked us some amazing meals. We could not have asked for more a better experience.

Puruvita property is better described as a small hotel, it has a few buildings with a bunch of rooms all uniquely setup. It was easy to check-in, get settled and all amenities met our expectations. The large kitchen and the ability to spread out was very useful for our large group. Will definitely be checking availability in the future if we make another visit to Uvita with a group.

So the location of the house was not correct in the itinerary that was sent to us as part of our confirmation email, but this didn't matter in the end because we arranged to meet Henry in town and he drove us up to the property. I don't think we would have found it otherwise. But, Costa's place is high up above Uvita, on the hills, with an amazing view. You would probably need a 4x4 car to get there. It is totally private and all the facilities are as per the amazing photographs. The house is vast, with a really clean perfect sized pool. The outside space is well furnished, with outside fans which make it a really pleasant experience to watch the sun go down behind the hills. It is quite a distance from town up the road to the property and so I would recommend doing a food shop before you go up to the house. There are restaurants in town, but once at the house, we just didn't want to leave! We loved our stay and would definitely go back.

Host was very responsive and friendly and their property was perfect for our five day stay! Any issues that came up or questions I had were always addressed immediately. The property was beautiful and well-maintained and very close to everything we needed to make our visit comfortable. All the windows allowed for a gorgeous view of the mountains and neighborhood each morning while we made and ate breakfast. And as Americans, we very much appreciated how well the air conditioners worked, too! It helped us adjust to the very warm/humid climate so we were always comfortable whenever we were at the property. We loved our stay and would definitely return if we made the trip down again. :) Thank you, Enson and Jessica!

This little casita was a gem, great for the two of us for a couple of days at the beach. It was super clean, and the A/C was top notch. (Sometimes it's difficult in CR to find well-functioning A/C in rentals.) Cindy was responsive when there was a little problem with the coffee pot--she always responded to messages within minutes!!! The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils. Although it's compact (IMO a little small for 4 people if they are hanging out inside the unit other than sleeping) it was perfect for 2 with each having separate bedrooms. The pool and outdoor shower were great. Since I "tiene muchos anos" (am old) it wasn't so walkable to the beach but a 4-minute drive got us there. I highly recommend this casita and plan to return. A good value.

The most gorgeous place! Trees visibly filled with white faced monkeys, scarlet macaws. Howler monkeys in the area but hard to spot. Perfect pool. 10/10

We loved our stay at Pat & Amy's casita and wish we could have stayed longer! It was by far the best place we stayed our entire trip. When we checked in, Pat met us and walked us through the house and gave us tips and recommendations. They even had some snacks and fruit waiting for us, which was really kind. The casita itself was amazing. Spotless, full kitchen, a whole closet area, beach chairs & towels, actual hot water in the shower, and a very comfortable bed! Not to mention the amazing views and all the beautiful plants and wildlife on the property. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony listening to the birds and enjoying the peace & quiet. We also spent an equal amount of time hanging with Pat and Kaia (their sweet puppy) around the pool. Pat & Amy had great suggestions for tours, beaches, and amazing food in the area. They were so gracious, accommodating, hospitable, and genuine. It was truly a wonderful place to stay and we wish we could go back!

My family absolutely loved Casa Beanie. We really appreciated how nice the host were anytime I communicated with them. I loved the fact there is a book for you with local reccomendations, such as eateries and activities. Our favorite place to eat was los Laurelies if I spelled it correctly. The food was tremendous and had to go back. The home itself was awesome, very modern and clean. The area is quite and private. My son really enjoyed the pool which is absolutely beautiful. We had an awesome time in UVITA. You will not come across more friendlier people. Some of the nicest and helpful people I've ever met. I definitely reccomended this place to stay and wouldn't hesitate staying again. Some local activities we did was horseback riding, Whales tails beach, Uvita Waterfall, and Naycauna waterfalls. The waterfalls are absolutely breath taking.

Stunning house! The views are incredible and lovely to wake up in the morning with floor to ceiling windows of the view across the valley. It’s pretty remote but that comes with being on the side of the mountain with the views and only a 20min drive down to the supermarket / closest restaurants.

Martina and the place were absolutely spectacular. Upon arrival, you are taken away to another place with the lush jungle, amazing landscaping, and beautiful views overlooking the Uvita Whale’s Tail below. The property and house are perfect and the location is great as well as you are a less than 10 minute from the town of Uvita with lots of great restaurants & amenities. Can’t wait to come back at is it absolute paradise!

Amazing place, beautiful views and surrounded by nature was a peaceful place we made sure we spent time to enjoy. Really detailed check in information and recommendations with responsive hosts, we had a power cut due to the rain but luckily the bbq is gas so we’re still able to cook It states to bring a 4x4 but would also suggest being an experienced driver
