Beach condo holiday rentals in Playa Flamingo

Not much to add beyond the countless rave reviews here. The restorative and serene view and location is obviously the best quality, but the condo itself is comfortable and offers all the comforts of home as well. We loved the empty beach, the sound of the surf, and the cackle of the tropical birds. If you want crowds and traffic jams, head to Tamarindo. If you yearn for quiet and a vintage Costan Rican experience, I recommend without hesitation.

2nd time staying here. Really like the location. If there is any problem they are on it quickly. Pool is nice and the beach is just a couple minute walk. Great place 10/10 recommend

Condo has great views, clean with plenty of towels and all the equipment you need for the beach. Renee made everything easy and stress free. She also connected us to Brian Gonzales, the owner of Gi Brian Tours! Brian is a phenomenal tour guide and highly knowledgeable of the ecology of the area. Highly recommend.

Very nice stay, the host is always friendly and attentive. It had everything we were looking for and a lot of comfort. We highly recommend it.

Had a great stay. The location is perfect being on the beach with direct access from the back yard. The pool was perfect and we enjoyed a BBQ one of the night. The other nights, great restaurants were a short walk away. The tropical-style covered patio at the edge of the beach was relaxing and enjoyable. Inside, the design style is open and contemporary. The table was the perfect size for dining, and evening card games. We also enjoyed listening to the crashing waves at night and early morning. We found it to be perfect for adults and family. The sandy beach was long enough for nice walks in either direction. The kitchen amenities, the couches and beds were adequate. We would definitely recommend staying here. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Exactly as pictured. The unit is clean and quiet. We were comfortable as a couple there, it would be a bit crowded if we had our kids. Las Catalinas is a great community, about an hour and a half away from the airport. Once you’re there, you’re likely staying mostly on the property as there isn’t an easy way to go anywhere else, but it’s a relaxing spot with good options for restaurants and the beach is perfect.

Fantastic stay, the best complex in Tamarindo area by far! Very comfortable bedding also, which js not the standard in many places here! Highly recommend!

Words can't describe how awesome Laura and Melissa are! Before we even our started our trip to Coasta Rica they both greeted us and explained instructions very clearly. Upon arrival, Laura promptly gave us a walk through on the property's amenities. Not one item within the property felt like it was unnecessarily placed, everything does its part to add to the beautiful esthetics of the home. If you're a coffee or tea in the morning I'll highly suggest have a cup in the morning and taking in the view from the balcony. From a comfort perspective, the a/c and hot water works great. Also, During our stay, Melissa helped organize a boat tour for us that was a blast. I could go on and on about the beauty of this place but I'll leave my review with this, if you ever find youself in the Playa del Coco area looking for a place to stay I highly recommend choosing this location as a way to supplement the memories you're going to make while visiting this beautiful country.

super great and peacefull place that is next to a lot of the bars and restaurant, kitchen is cute! sidenote; You do have to go up a little hill, nothing hard but nice to know.

Fantastic stay at this condo. For two people the condo is large but if you could swing it financially, do it. The extra room was great to have. Kitchen was complete. Anything you need was there. Bedrooms were big with their own bathrooms. Definitely would recommend this condo. I’ll be back. Tony

The villa was lovely and came with everything to make the stay easy — from beach chairs and beach towels to a fully stocked kitchen. It was easy to come and go, the walk to the Marriott was quick and easy, the pool was right outside, and the porch hammock was a perfect touch. Irina was very responsive and gave helpful suggestions.

This place has everything you need! Spices, beach chairs and towels! Well stocked for a great stay. However there is construction going on next door that we were unaware about. Otherwise this place was great!

Francisco's accommodation is an excellent option for exploring Playas del Coco and its surroundings. The condominium where it is located is very well maintained, with very refreshing vegetation and squirrels that come to visit 🙂 the pool is clean. The apartment is comfortable, with everything you need for a vacation and the internet works perfectly if you need to work. I hope to stay here again in the future.

Great location! The condo side has a pool with a swim up bar, but can use the pool on the hotel side as well. Walkable to a bunch of shops and restaurants. Richard and his team were always very responsive and friendly. The only negative I would say was the washer and dryer are old. The dryer requires 2-3 cycles to fully dry your clothes. But overall great experience and enjoyed our time there!

We recently visited Las Catalinas for a wedding, and our stay was perfect. Rosa's place was exactly as shown, had all the amenities we needed, and is ideally situated in to everything in town. The entire staff that help manage the property, and environment in Las Catalinas is incredible, and we would definitely visit again!

Location was perfect. Unit was clean just needs some updates. If unit had sleeper sofa’s it would enhanced for 2 families to share the unit. Pool near building with working grill made it perfect to cook lunch and dinner there.

Brandon’s place was exceptionally beautiful. Our family really enjoyed our stay. The pool table got a lot of use! The views from the balcony were stunning. I would argue that these were the best sunset views in the entire town! The front balcony offered sunrise views as well! We spent most of our time on the rear balcony, enjoying those views. It was clean, easy self check in and the property manager Allen was very responsive and helpful in setting up excursions! We wished we could have stayed another week! Thank you, Brandon, for sharing your home with us!

Great location! We had a golf cart to buzz around town which was fun. Pablo was wonderful in helping us check-in (he even came to meet us to help us get checked in and gave us a quick tour) Condo was perfect for the 4 of us and we had a great time!

This place was awesome! Nicer than we expected! Huge and right on the beach! We would love to return here and stay at this place again!

Stunning sunsets and spacious living is what we’ll remember from our fabulous stay! Syd was a friendly and responsive host always ready if we had a question. The beachfront location exceeded our expectations; it was quiet and incredibly scenic yet just a fun golf cart ride to Tamarindo. Also delicious restaurants within walking distance if you don’t want to rent golf carts. Our group of 6 adults LOVED our stay!!!
