Condo holiday rentals in Playa Flamingo

Not much to add beyond the countless rave reviews here. The restorative and serene view and location is obviously the best quality, but the condo itself is comfortable and offers all the comforts of home as well. We loved the empty beach, the sound of the surf, and the cackle of the tropical birds. If you want crowds and traffic jams, head to Tamarindo. If you yearn for quiet and a vintage Costan Rican experience, I recommend without hesitation.

Ron’s condo was exactly what we were hoping it would be - relaxing, quiet and in close proximity to all the amenities we were looking for. We ventured out to Playa Flamingo and Playa Prieta (absolutely stunning and secluded) and although both were beautiful, the beach right out front of the condo remained our favorite. Ron was a fantastic host and the permanent residents at the condos were welcoming and friendly. Oh and the air conditioning is fantastic.

Meagan's unit was a cozy home away from home. It was well stocked. Meagan was proactive and communicative during my whole stay and provided great recommendations. The pool was beautiful and facilities were very clean. The rental location is at the end of town, not well-lit, and lacking sidewalks. I found it easier to walk to town 15 minutes along the beach and start my day at Cafe Corazon each day, and returned back to the beach at 5pm for sunset. For dinner after dark I took an Uber, but golf carts are easily available. Despite the dark, I felt very safe and locals were friendly.

Absolutely loved this place! Very nice and cozy apartment with a superb location near restaurants and only 500 meters from the beach! I will definitely be staying there again!!!

What a comfortable and well equipped condo. Everything that we needed to live there during our vacation was provided. The pool was well maintained and the building felt very secure and Yanis promptly replied to a couple of questions that we had. I would definitely recommend staying here.

For a week at the beach the place was perfect. It had a pool in the case we didn’t want to go to the beach. The beach was a walking distance from the apt. Renee responded promptly whenever a question was asked or a situation needed her help. I would go back there anytime!

Absolutely loved staying here while visiting Tamarindo for a few days! The space was so lovely and spacious and in the most perfect location. You could walk to everything within 5-10 minutes.

Fantastic stay, the best complex in Tamarindo area by far! Very comfortable bedding also, which js not the standard in many places here! Highly recommend!

Words can't describe how awesome Laura and Melissa are! Before we even our started our trip to Coasta Rica they both greeted us and explained instructions very clearly. Upon arrival, Laura promptly gave us a walk through on the property's amenities. Not one item within the property felt like it was unnecessarily placed, everything does its part to add to the beautiful esthetics of the home. If you're a coffee or tea in the morning I'll highly suggest have a cup in the morning and taking in the view from the balcony. From a comfort perspective, the a/c and hot water works great. Also, During our stay, Melissa helped organize a boat tour for us that was a blast. I could go on and on about the beauty of this place but I'll leave my review with this, if you ever find youself in the Playa del Coco area looking for a place to stay I highly recommend choosing this location as a way to supplement the memories you're going to make while visiting this beautiful country.

Fantastic stay at this condo. For two people the condo is large but if you could swing it financially, do it. The extra room was great to have. Kitchen was complete. Anything you need was there. Bedrooms were big with their own bathrooms. Definitely would recommend this condo. I’ll be back. Tony

This place has everything you need! Spices, beach chairs and towels! Well stocked for a great stay. However there is construction going on next door that we were unaware about. Otherwise this place was great!

Very nice stay, the host is always friendly and attentive. It had everything we were looking for and a lot of comfort. We highly recommend it.

Lucio’s place was definitely one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in! The views are absolutely breathtaking, the home was spotless, and Lucio was the most accommodating host we’ve ever had. He had so many wonderful recommendations, he helped us get settled in, and he even took us to the grocery store that first night there. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again. If you’re on the fence about a place to stay, this is definitely the best choice in Tamarindo!

This was a fantastic spot! Very spacious, clean and had a lovely pool. A short walk to the beach and a quick walk or drive to excellent restaurants. It was so nice to wake up and listen to the beautiful birds singing. Joshua was an excellent host, very helpful and responsive! Thanks again for a beautiful stay!

Mark was a super responsive host and the place was perfect for a relaxing beach vacation. We especially loved coffee/happy hour on the balcony overlooking the beautiful Pacific, and how easy it was to access the lovely and chill beach (with good snorkeling spots!).

The apartment is as shown on the pictures. The terrace is spacious and has a great view of the bay. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking your own food, but there are many restaurant options around, including the Villas Sol hotel itself which has an all inclusive option if you like it. If it's your first time here, don't listen to the Condovac salesmen at the beach entrance, waste of your time whatever they offer. Thankfully they're not insisting if you dismiss them.

Our Family had a wonderful stay at Estella Del Mar! The condo is beautiful and spacious. Two families can easily enjoy this space with enough room for everyone. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the balcony, the pool and private beach. We walked to Nita’s coffee shop every morning for coffee and breakfast. We also enjoyed walking to Hemmingway’s for dinner and sunset. Flamingo Beaxh and Playa Conchal are a short golf cart ride away. This condo is the perfect spot for your vacation.

This Airbnb in Las Catalinas was beyond our expectations! The flat is the perfect size for 2 people and has a great, relaxing vacation vibe! We spent time on the unit’s 2 patios and dipped into the plunge pool before starting our day and at the end of a long day. The bedroom has plenty of storage and the bathroom is a great size with a nice walk-in shower. The kitchen is super functional! There are plenty of nice quality bowls, pans and utensils that make whipping up breakfast or a snack a breeze. You could easily fix dinner, but being on vacation I’m all about trying out the local food of which there are plenty of delicious options. You can’t go wrong with booking this flat!

Our trip to Costa Rica was extraordinary, thanks to the incredible condo we stayed in! The space and amenities exceeded our expectations—3 spacious bedrooms with en-suite baths and a half bath off the kitchen made it perfect for our family of 4. The huge deck featured an outdoor kitchen, a small pool, and plenty of room to lounge, ideal for celebrating my husband's 50th birthday! We felt secure with a guard on duty day and night, and waking up to howler monkeys right outside our balcony was magical. The washer and dryer were a great convenience. Concierge Rafa helped us plan an amazing itinerary, including a birthday balloon setup, a private chef who prepared an incredible traditional Casado dinner, and adventures like a waterfall hike, a boat tour, scuba diving, and a stunning catamaran sunset cruise. The only minor issue was a lock code problem upon arrival. Overall, we can't recommend this condo enough! It was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our memorable family vacation!
