The view is absolutely amazing! The villa has all the amenities you’ll want and is very safe with two gates, alarm system and security cameras. The sounds of the jungle and the wildlife are very present. Very peaceful and relaxing. If you don’t mind driving 20 min to Tamarindo and seeing a few bugs, this is the best Airbnb to rent! The host is very nice and responsive. Would definitely go back!

We really enjoyed our 6 day stay at Casa La Reina! The hosts were extremely friendly and easy to communicate with throughout the booking process and our entire stay. They helped us arrange an excursion, groceries, and meals for the week. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hosts who helped show us the property and all the features. At this time we also paid for all of our groceries for the week, which were stocked in the fridge/pantry. They even had welcome snacks and drinks prepared for us when we arrived! The house is about 15 minutes from downtown Tamarindo on a gravel road. The road is fairly easy to navigate, the last part being a steep hill up to the house. We had a small SUV (Rav4) and had no issues traversing the roads. The house felt very secluded, safe and private. The house was also very well kept and had an amazing view from the deck/pool area! We had a total of 4 people (2 couples) and felt we had plenty of space and privacy while here. We would highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Villa Sashimi and hope to come back soon! We loved to be surrounded by nature yet very near to the beach, super markets and restaurants. The house is very comfortable and clean, and the property grounds are beautiful!

☀️Absolutely Amazing Stay at Casa Luna Amarillo.🏝️ We had an unforgettable experience staying at Casa Luna Amarillo! From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the amazing property itself. Even more beautiful than the pictures on the site. The house was spotlessly clean, spacious and beautifully decorated with a tropical, yet cozy vibe. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and we loved enjoying our meals with a spectacular views. The location of the home made it possible for the most amazing sunrises and sunsets. The pool was the perfect spot to relax and cool off after a day of exploring the area. The location is fantastic—just a short drive to Playa del Coco’s beautiful beach, shops, and restaurants. The hosts were awesome. Very responsive when we encountered a problem with our stay. They did accommodate us for the inconvenience and made it possible for us to stay and keep enjoying this magnificent home. Highly recommend!

A stunning property! Upon opening the door we were in awe of the beautiful view and house amenities. While the kitchen, main bedroom and main bed outdoor deck are the biggest highlights is this property…the entire home was perfect for a family of four and we were impressed by all areas. Comfy linens, upscale appliances, spotless surroundings and kind condo staff are just some of the reasons this stay was one of our best of all time. The town of Playa del Coco is within minutes, the black sand beach feels private and pools/restaurant are great. I consider our family particular and this house didn’t disappoint. We can’t wait to come back!

We had the best family vacation at Casa Lulu! Kate ensured that everything was perfect for our stay. She even had everything we needed for my 15 month old nephew! She was very communicative and gave us great recommendations for everything we needed for a great trip!! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and host!!

Wonderful Airbnb! Jacob their security guard was awesome and very kind! The place is gorgeous and very peaceful and overall an awesome location close to beaches and restaurants! The view is so beautiful! We got to see the sunset everyday and even got a chance to hear the monkeys in the trees! Overall recommended!

If you are looking for a wonderful condo, in a scenic and relaxing location with access to a little adventure, this is the right place for you. Playa Flamingo is a quiet and beautiful beach with both big and small waves depending on the time of the day. This condo community is also quiet while offering so many amenities. The staff are amazing and you never have to fight for chairs. The salt water pools and beach are just steps away from your condo. Dania is the perfect host. She planned our airport transportation, golf cart rental, surf lessons, fishing charter, and waterfall hike. Everyone was there (even early) when she said they would be. Costs were upfront. Dania really made this the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. Better than an all inclusive in my opinion. Rent a golf cart and easily access restaurants and grocery stores. Food prices are high in the area. We have 2 kids, 12 and 15 years old, and all four of us can't stop talking about what a wonderful vacation we had.

Casa Serendipity was pure magic for our family. As a wellness practitioner and mama of two little ones, I’ve stayed in many places—but this was truly a sanctuary. Mariela is the most incredible host—like a 24/7 concierge angel. From airport pick-up, car rental, grocery tips, to curated local gems—she thought of everything. The home is stunning, spacious, and incredibly private, yet perfectly located to easily explore the best beaches, restaurants, and adventures. We woke to birdsong, made meals in the outdoor kitchen, lounged by the pool, and even picked fresh mangoes. It was peaceful, secure, and deeply nourishing. Every detail supported ease and connection. After full days exploring, it felt like coming home to serenity. I would stay here every time—we’re already dreaming of our return. Mariela, thank you for creating this heart-centered haven. It was our second stay at Villa St. Barth, and we hope it will not be the last one. We enjoy this privacy oasis very close to the touristy areas of the Tamarindo Coast. The property is secluded; you neither see nor feel any neighbours, yet it is just a few hundred meters away from a very nice fish restaurant. The house is squeaky clean and very comfortable to live in. The property's focal point is a pool suitable for lap swimming. We spend hours in the pool daily, looking for a busy bird life and occasional squirrels or monkeys.

We had an incredible stay at the villa. The view was absolutely breathtaking and we loved lounging by the pool. Although a car is advisable for this area, the drive to beaches and stores was quick and easy. Would certainly recommend and stay here again!

Villa Guacamaya Roja was a great house in Playa Grande. About 8 minutes to walk to the beach. Large pool for the area. Great rooms. Really responsive concierge who helped book rides and excursions for the days we didn't just hang out in Playa Grande. Would definitely recommend.

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bahia Pez Vela, Villa 10. The house is lovely and the view breathtaking. We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the view. We really enjoyed having the beautiful black sand beach just a few steps away, as well as the pool and restaurant right next door. The restaurant on the property Soluna Beach Bistro has many delicious options and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. We also enjoyed checking out some of the restaurants in Ocotal Beach, which is just 5 minutes away. Don't miss out on Father Rooster's. Take advantage of the the wonderful massage and facials available at the resort, which we were able to get on our patio. Also, make sure to enjoy the kayak rentals and you can also have jet ski rentals brought to the private beach. Thank you Alvin and we look forward to visiting again someday. I long to be back there already!

We just came back from a week-long stay in this beautiful house. The pictures shown in the listing do not do justice, it is a very large house with plenty of room for 4 adults, the views from the pool and master bedroom cannot be beat, the location is great (listening to the howler monkeys at night was an added bonus), there was always plenty of hot water, and the pool is huge and was kept in pristine condition. The only slight negative we encountered was the requirement to not place any toilet paper in the toilets but rather place it in trash bags (we were not aware of this requirement prior to arrival). Other than that one minor surprise, we would definitely recommend Payton's house to anyone who wants a fun and relaxing vacation.

This home was perfect for our group of six! The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful as well. Being able to do laundry was super helpful given we are traveling for two weeks with carry ons only. The host was very responsive and helpful during our whole stay! During our three night stay we easily got to see three beaches in the area! The only downside to this was the drive in to the property. While the home is in a gated community the drive there is through and underdeveloped area of guanacaste with unpaved roads with huge potholes. We had 4 wheel drive so it wasn’t a huge deal. This stay was still definitely worth the price!

We had an amazing stay at casa Bosque. The beach club was a real plus and the location was out of the crowds in tamarindo but close enough to get to everything quickly/easily. Rosa took amazing care of us, she is such a gem! Highly recommend this house when visiting tamarindo!

My husband and I loved our stay here. The pictures are very accurate, and the biggest plus was definitely the private infinity pool. It stays pretty warm, even when it's cloudy, and it's so big. The outside space is incredible with so many different places to relax. The inside is decorated well and nice everywhere, especially the main bedroom/bathroom, which is private on the top floor, so if you're traveling with kids you’ll have your own space. With A/C and fans literally everywhere, you'll be very comfortable. There will be a lot of bugs, including some inside, but if you understand that you're in a tropical area, it's not really a big deal...just don't leave unwrapped food out. The host Jamie was also very responsive with questions and the Zindis group will help you book any adventure you're looking for. Be sure to rent a car if you want to go to a beach or whatever because the road down from the house is steep and winding, but all paved. For what this house offers, you're definitely getting a great deal...especially if you can split it with another couple/family members. While we wanted to explore the area, we also didn't want to leave this house... we would definitely stay here again!

Truly loved my stay at Kaya. The house and property are beautiful and just as pictured. Andre is kind and helpful and communicated well. The house had everything I needed and was very comfortable. Restaurants are walking distance and each one was fantastic. Nothing quite beats dinner at Lola's at sunset. The coffee shop just outside Kaya's gate is also excellent, as is the clothing boutique next door. Both owners are gems. One word of caution: be careful walking with wet feet on the deck. It's super slippery. Other than that, my stay was perfection and I plan to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Encantada. It was private and peaceful. It is meticulously maintained and very clean. Lorraine and Real are helpful hosts, who have lived in Costa Rica a long time and have many great recommendations for the area. Highly recommended!

This property is truly magical! Getting there is definitely an adventure in itself due to the rough roads but is definitely worth the drive. This was the peaceful and private location we were looking for. The house itself is gorgeous but the property is also absolutely beautiful. The pool and garden areas were always spotless due to the groundskeeper coming every morning and maintaining. There were 9 in our group and we had plenty of space. Juan Carlos or Franklin were always available if we had any questions and Mariela did a great job keeping the place spotless. I can’t wait to come back!
