Beachfront holiday rental in Playa Herradura

We liked it very much, the apartment was super well equipped and clean. The area is super quiet if you're looking to get away from the noise.

We loved our stay at this private little place close to the beach. It's a bit overgrown, which adds to the charm in my opinion, though the walkway to the pool could perhaps be easier to get through with some trimming. It was beautiful and clean, and if it hadn't been for an abundance of mosquitoes swarming the porch, it would have been absolutely perfect, however that's obviously not the hosts fault. 🙂

We had the loveliest time at this beachfront house. The pool is gorgeous - not too warm or cold. It was so refreshing to relax in the pool and stare at the waves. The house is in the best part of Esterillos, right in front of the “mermaid” and the tide pools. The house is well designed and makes use of all the spaces. It was clean and well equipped. You can also walk to the nearby store and there are a few good restaurants just a block or two away walking along the beach. It was an amazing place to share with family, we will be back!

This place was very clean, comfortable and in a nice location right by the beach and a short walk from a fun bar/restaurant.

This place is WOW and Richard is very responsive and accommodating. You should not be dissatisfied if you stay there, book it!

Beautiful home in a very convenient and peaceful location. House is well stocked with anything you may need from kitchen utensils to beach chairs and pool towels. Host was very helpful and responsive, truly appreciate her hospitality and helpful recommendations on restaurants and activities. Highly recommend!

Wow! Is all I can say! This place was 10 out of 10! I have already recommended it to so many friends! The pictures and descriptions were 100% accurate. We were so comfortable! The patio is EVERYTHING! Oh my gosh! It’s huge and comfortable! We had the best time and will be back!

Beautiful accommodations, gorgeous view! Lovely adjoining beach you can reach by steps directly from condo. Abundant wildlife, even viewed many red macaw directly from balcony! Great experience & great host, would recommend!

Great spot in Jaco right near the beach, quiet and away from the downtown strip but close enough you could enjoy a 15-20 min walk. We absolutely loved the pool area, condo was amazing and loved the decor

We stayed for two weeks, and had a great stay at this place! Very clean and comfortable. It's close to the pool and beach. There's a private beach access by the pool. Everything we needed was in the condo. There is security at the entances. Orlando was very responsive. He even had the condo cleaned for us halfway through our stay. We will stay here again when visiting Costa Rica.

Jose’s condo was an amazing find. We stayed there with some family, and it was perfect for us to have our own bedrooms but also have a nice shared space to all spend time together. My parents stayed at a similar condo close by but ended up spending most of their time with us at Jose’s condo as it was a nicer place to hang out together. Jose was always responsive, came immediately to help us with any questions or to show us how to use appliances, and was so accommodating. Perfect place to walk to restaurants, shops, the beach, or just to relax.

We had a wonderful stay at Tracy’s home it was the perfect location for the places we wanted to visit. Only 1 hour away from Manuel Antonio and about 30 minutes from Jaco and 2 hours from SJO. Read description carefully because you might think you’re renting the entire house but it’s actually divided into 4 different suites and the common areas are shared along with the pool. This is all on the description of the listing it was just a minor oversight on my end but we ended up having an amazing time and are glad we stayed at Tracy’s home. Thank you for having us :)

WOW - WOW - WOW! This place is SPECTACULAR! The view is outstanding and the beach is pristine. There are LOTS of scarlet macaws at the beaches and there beach is lined with shade trees. The place is small, but a bit larger than the pictures indicate. The place is decorated beautifully and the housekeeper is outstanding. Isabel is super helpful and responsive. I wish we had more time here (we will stay longer next time). Highly recommend!

Hi Jessica. Thank you so much for the seamless and wonderful stay at your beautiful home. We enjoyed all the facilities that you provided, including that beautiful pool and the various places where we could enjoy meals. The AC units in the bedrooms worked perfectly and very efficiently, which is a real necessity at the beach. We enjoyed the huge top deck and enjoyed the ocean view it provided. The beach was perfect, and it like it was our own private beach. Very private. Stringing hammocks between the palm trees was a real treat for real relaxation with the music of the ocean. The Starlink Wi-Fi was exceptional and never failed and had coverage outside as well. Yeni and Mendoza were such a courteous and a special couple they couldn’t do enough for us. They were there but gave us privacy, yet always willing to help with everything. Mendoza an excellent griller from fish to hamburgers. They were key to us enjoying your beautiful home so much! Our stay at Lauren’s place in Jacó was absolutely perfect! The home is beautiful, located in a quiet and peaceful part of town — just far enough from the main strip to feel relaxing, but still close enough to everything you might need. It had every amenity we could have asked for. You can tell Lauren has truly thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable and at home. The check-in process was seamless, and Lauren was incredibly easy to communicate From start to finish, it was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. We would 100% recommend staying here if you’re visiting Jacó — you won’t be disappointed! ⸻

This place exceeded all our expectations. It was extremely well-appointed & Mario & Sheri’s attention to detail was phenomenal. They were very helpful with suggestions for local activities & places to eat. Always quick to respond to any questions. The taqueria had wonderful food & the service was very good. Fabulous location on the beach & felt very safe as well.
