House holiday rentals in Playa Junquillal

We stayed for one week. We loved how peaceful it was and the pool was much needed. The monkeys are the highlight - they come and go without any bother. Could watch them all day.

This is a great place even if you never left the property it's such an enjoyable place to be we have watched the monkeys eat mangoes from the trees the rain in the evening and enjoyed the pool during the day the beach is a 3 minute drive and the home is absolutely amazing wouldn't change a thing.

We had a great stay and hope to go back. Here are a few of our highlights: - House was perfect for a week long vacation in Avellanas for the 4 of us (parents plus two teenage sons). The kitchen was well stocked, the AC kept things cool at night, and we loved having AM coffee on the patio listening to birds and monkeys. - We very heavily used the community pool. We were the only ones staying in our group of homes around the pool so we had it to ourselves each day. It was cleaned daily. - It was a long walk to the beach (20min) so we often drove to the maintained parking lot by Lola's and paid the modest $4. (The fee helps maintain the beach access so it seems well-worth paying each day.) Because it was still walkable, we'd often walk home, leaving the kids with the car to finish up a surf session... it was nice to have that flexibility. - The gated community with guards felt very secure, but the overall area also felt very safe for our 5-7 mile runs, evening strolls, and more!

Casa Julianna was an amazing experience to end our last few days in Costa Rica. What a beautiful place, even better to see in person. There was plenty of room within the house & seating in the screened outdoor patio space. We were travelling with 5 kids age 10-19, they all loved it here and enjoyed the pool during the day and night. The separate bedroom with bathroom was a nice surprise - our oldest daughter enjoyed this space. There was quite a few howler monkeys behind the home, it was fun to watch them play in the trees. Tamarindo is appx 40min drive away, we took the family here for a night of souvenir shopping. Fun town to explore. We also did a fishing charter for a day. Thank you for providing our family with early check-in and late check out, along with the great nightly rate you provided to us. Wonderful experience, highly recommend. We plan to visit Costa Rica again next year. Jenn & Andy + kids.

The villa was amazing. Exactly as shown and described. Had a wonderful time, really enjoyed the villa . The view was amazing. Pastora and her husband were kind and very responsive to anything we needed. The area was fantastic. Plenty of options for adventures. Great restaurants . Locals were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning.

My family of 5 had an amazing time here! Our three boys (16, 13, and 8) loved the house, the pool, and the great vibe here. The house and surroundings are even better than the pictures, which is saying something since the pictures made it look like paradise. Monica was extremely responsive—more so than any host I’ve ever dealt with previously. They have everything you could possibly need for your stay. The area is gorgeous and Playa Grande is a cute town with great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is even more beautiful than in the pictures! We especially loved the pool which was always the perfect temperature. The decor and architecture was very natural and beautiful, complete with pretty tile work and natural boho decor. There is a nice kitchen with all the utensils you need to prep food and a relaxing living area. The true beauty of this location shines in the outdoor area which features a perfect sized pool, outdoor shower, fire pit and cute seating area. The host Esteban was so welcoming and very communicative. If you are thinking about booking this location, definitely do it! You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend!

What an incredible place. It’s a few minutes outside Tamarindo and Playa Flamingo and worth the drive. The place has insane views and is so unique. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. 11/10.

Perfection. Absolute perfection. The other reviews are spot on. Just book it already. The views can’t be beat and no picture can do it justice. Everywhere you look it is beautiful and magical: the jungle sounds, the sunsets, the amazing flora and fauna, the details and thoughtful touches. It is so perfect it is almost overwhelming. Every day, I couldn’t believe I was there. And the hosts! They are amazing! They are genuinely kind and generous, not that fake used car salesman nice. They are the real deal. Anything they recommend, just do it. Use their concierge service and do everything! You can’t go wrong. We would have stayed longer and plan to go back soon.

Pictures dont do justice to how amazing the place is. The view is simply breathtaking and Rocio took care of everything as well as giving us some pretty good recommendations for places around the house.

Vanaf het eerste contact (enkele dagen voor aankomst) tot de dag na vertrek zijn we ontzettend goed verzorgd. Jacquie reageerde super snel en gaf veel informatie. Het huis was heel ruim en comfortabel. Met onze twee jonge kinderen was het een geweldig verblijf. Het huis zag er heel netjes en mooi uit, het zwembad was brandschoon en een feest voor onze kinderen. Echt een aanrader!

Had an amazing stay at this place – it was exactly what our family needed! The management company was incredibly responsive, offering fantastic recommendations for local attractions and events. We were kept in the loop with all the happenings around the area during our stay. Highly recommend!

This place is stunning! It's up in the hills and super quiet. This modern home was beautiful and immaculate and had everything we needed. All the glass windows remind you that you are in the jungle and to slow down, what an amazing space. Claudia the property manager is fantastic and responsive. The Villa Royal Home in Tamarindo was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend for friends and family that are looking a 5 star place to stay in Tamarindo. As a clean freak the home was spotless, not to mention it is cleaned everyday besides Sunday. The views were breath taking and relaxing all at the same time, especially with the beautiful sunsets. Walking distance to most places we went throughout the town; however, in some cases it may be best to get a ride. Cristina was amazing! She was very responsive and helped our group out tremendously when needed. We wouldn't even look to stay anywhere else if in Tamarindo again.

Nalu was absolutely beautiful and a wonderful home base for my family of 4 (kids 4 & 8). The location is great - close to the beach, restaurants and shops and Nalu's gated compound was an unexpected safety feature we appreciated. The villa is well stocked for food prep and super comfortable for sleeping, lounging and enjoying everything Nosara has to offer. Lots of thoughtful inclusions to ensure guests enjoy their stay - ceiling fans, AC, good wifi, iPhone charging cords, Bluetooth speaker, books, games, toys, puzzles, breach umbrellas & chairs. Absolutely loved the workouts and friendly locals who attend the classes! Nalu did not disappoint and we look forward to our return. A very good value.

Casa Prana was absolute paradise. We just got back from an amazing trip to Costa Rica, and this house made the entire experience next-level. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless—luxury at every turn. The beds and linens were unbelievably comfortable, the outdoor space and pool area were to die for, and the coffee setup was unreal—perfect for those early mornings before surfing or fishing. The house had everything we needed and more. It felt like every detail was carefully thought out, making it the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy every second.
