Very cool place. Pool was awesome and so were wildlife and views. Behind big gate and the AC was great all over the house. Washer and dryer nice touch. Saw cows horses birds and monkeys.

My family of 5 had an amazing time here! Our three boys (16, 13, and 8) loved the house, the pool, and the great vibe here. The house and surroundings are even better than the pictures, which is saying something since the pictures made it look like paradise. Monica was extremely responsive—more so than any host I’ve ever dealt with previously. They have everything you could possibly need for your stay. The area is gorgeous and Playa Grande is a cute town with great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

The place is as it appears in the photos, a small apartment with everything you need for a good weekend, it is close to everything and is perfect for traveling with pets.

This place was super relaxing and felt like you were in the forrest. The pool was super cool. You do share it with three other airbnbs I believe. The laundry was nice, and the AC worked really well. Overall enjoyed my stay.

This was the most beautiful and peaceful Airbnb my wife and 3 year old son have stayed in and truly feel lucky and honored to have stayed here. The attention to detail and decor of the home is something else, truly creating a unique Costa Rican experience. Enjoying the pool while watching the horses roam was a highlight and Isa and Jesus were always attentive making sure our stay was as comfortable and easy going. This was the 6th time we have come to this area and needless to say, we have found our home away from home and will only stay here from now.

Wow!!!! Great stay at AirBnb in Octocal Beach. We visited Costa Rica for our daughter’s nuptials and indeed our stay at this AirBnb was an unforgettable experience. It was an upscale home away from home. The service was excellent! The atmosphere soothing yet vibrant, calm, and relaxing. The rooms were clean, spacious with stunning views. The amenities were top notch and every needed for a home away from home was readily available in the home. The place was perfect for our situation. We had a flight that was supposed to go to SJO and instead ended in Liberia, which resulted in us staying overnight. So we decided to have a few days in a beach town and stayed here. It was the perfect way to make lemonade out of lemons.

We had an incredible time at this property. The photos do not do it justice. Views for days, comfortable living area, three new king beds and a well-appointed kitchen. Extra bonus of having filtered water and ice in the fridge. The outside area is incredible and you can have shade/sun/pool all day. The A/C works well to cool the house and keep it very comfortable. At this property you are a short drive from playa conchal, Tamarindo and other local beaches (Flamingo, Brasilato). There is a grocery store close by with basics and a larger one a few minutes further, there is a gym and a fruit/veg stand as well. We spent our mornings lounging on the deck and in the pool, our afternoons & evenings exploring and our nights watching a movie or listening to the monkeys on the deck. We saw butterflies, dragonflies, birds and lizards, heard monkeys and watched a tree full of parrots. We drove in the wrong side when we arrived, so be sure to come in the main gate.

The villa is beautiful, comfortable and private. Jefrey is an excellent host, he is friendly and accessible. Our stay was in rainy season so the street was in very poor condition, take it into account if you go with a sedan type car, and the villa is a little far from the village where you can buy groceries. Leaving this aside, it is a place that is totally worth visiting.

This was a beautiful place to stay at! If you love to be at a cottage during the summer, this place is definitely for you. The host and his family were super sweet individuals, and always provided great tips when we encountered them. For families with kids, this place would be amazing as it is spacious, has a mini pool and a playground.

We had a wonderful week in CR! One of our best vacations! The location of the condo unit was perfect - next to the nicest pool. It felt like a small neighbourhood community where everyone’s friendly, sociable and shares information. Outside the porch is a huge nance fruit tree that dropped fruits that look like golden berries but have a weird taste. The complex staff come by regularly to pick them up and eat them, and it also attracted iguanas so we got to see a few big ones up close. They’re cautious around people so they don’t come too close. The sound of all the different bird calls in the early morning was incredible. Sometimes you can hear monkeys in the distance during the night. The highlight of our trip was the sunset catamaran snorkelling booze cruise. We would have gone twice if time permitted. We’ll have to come back since in a week we didn’t get to do everything we wanted to. The owners and their local guy Luis are amazing!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Stephen was a most helpful host and assisted us in making all of our plans for a short but fantastic visit to Costa Rica. The house is just as advertised, clean and spacious. The views are out of this world and the access to amenities on the resort are perfect. Quick trip to local beaches and restaurants and we even had time to prepare a few meals in the kitchen. We followed all of Stephen’s advice including a half-day snorkeling trip with Juan Carlos which was a home run! I literally cannot say enough good things about the experience I had with Stephen and his beautiful home. I just followed the playbook he provided during our pre-visit telephone call and everything worked out beautifully. Playa Hermosa’s beach is breathtaking and Stephen made all the right restaurant recommendations! I was looking for a simple and fun trip for my family of five and thanks to Stephen my plan came to fruition. So relaxing!

This place was great for our family of 6 (4 adults + 2 toddlers). The Garrett Group was super responsive, even when I accidentally broke their mug 🤦🏻‍♀️ Located just steps from 2 pools and a poolside bar/snack shack. Unit comes with pool toys, pool/beach towels, BBQ and tons of kitchen stuff. Gated community. Very clean. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Playas del Coco.

This was one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at! I was traveling with my elderly parents and two kids (1 yr and 3yr) . The house was adorable, great art , comfortable sitting areas, the kitchen was well stocked, everyone had plenty of space. My parents stayed upstairs so could escape to quiet from kids! There were toys, books, cribs, high chairs, even floaties for the pool! When traveling with kids this is a huge plus to not have to pack these items! Very quiet neighborhood and really enjoyed hanging on the back deck! We walked to beach and restaurants with both kids and my parents no problem! Plenty of towels , and beach chairs! Very clean and Sebastian was super responsive and accommodating, we can’t wait to come back ! I would give 10 stars !! 🌟🌟🌟

We booked very last min to stay at David’s place as we only had a few days left in Costa Rica and wanted to be closer to the airport but not right in town. David responded right away and gave clear instructions on how to get to his place. The studio was very clean and felt very homie. The pool was clean and a great little community pool area with a BBQ. David stopped in on our first day and was very friendly. Craig who lives on the grounds is a great guy for food and beach recommendations. Stores are close by (within walking distance) made for an easy first night to cook dinner. Bed is very comfortable and nice hot shower for the end of the after touring around the local area. Nice a quiet at night to sit and have a beer or morning coffee with the local wild life. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next trip.

Every room offers stunning views, the layout is ideal for entertaining or relaxing, and the outdoor living spaces are just as impressive as the interior. The lighting at night gives the whole home a magical, resort-like ambiance. Every amenity you could imagine is here—from top-tier appliances to spa-like bathrooms. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our return. Truly unforgettable.

It is a very comfortable and quiet place. Close to the center of El Coco and at the same time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Luis was always attentive and we kept in touch even before we arrived. Clean place and all the comforts to spend time with the family. An additional plus, they allow pets

Super quiet, the place is very clean

Lucas and company made us feel right at home. Very attentive to everything, we had a small incident with the Villa, and immediately we were changed another, to repair the minor damage that it had. Everything is spotless, like new. The location is perfect, very quiet area, and close to everything! We will definitely be back!!!
