Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Plockton

Although a little expensive, the views, and being in an Abbey was an amazing experience. We had plenty of room and the apartment had everything we needed including tea! The canal locks were a thrilling surprise to watch when going for coffee or ice cream. Loch Ness cruise was beautiful. Everything you could need from coffee to restaurants and gift shops to convenience store all walking distance but very quiet complex with a city link bus stop 5-6 minute walk to explore the highlands.

This was a second visit to Oban, albeit planned with less than 12 hours notice. Elizabeth replied back IMMEDIATELY and we are so fortunate to have found this gem. After a very ill timed, wet and cold, boat ride to the islands…the flat was a wonderful reprieve. It warmed right up and with some coffee, tea and oatmeal that was generously provided, we were ready for round two of Oban.

A lovely, quiet street in the heart of bustling Inverness, very comfortable, good bed, wonderful shower, washing machine and an easy to use oven. Instructions were easy to understand for TV, and very good wifi. In a nutshell, everything we needed was provided. Highly recommend.

A really nice accommodation in a perfect location to explore the Isle of Skye. Handy that they allow dogs since we were travelling with ours. Had everything we needed, kitchen for cooking food, washing machine for cleaning our clothes after hikes and a tv with everything set up for when we wanted to chill in the evenings. The accommodation is right on the main road so easy access to all the main places and there is a private parking space just for the guests. The only down side was the cost as it was very expensive to stay here. However, this has just fallen foul of rip off Britain and they are by no means alone in this aspect.

Mi familia y yo disfrutamos de las estancia en la casa. Todo lo necesario para pasar nuestros 3 días en un enclave maravilloso. Incluso Elisabeth dejo cosas para desayunar en caso de que no pudiésemos comprar de camino a la casa. Está en medio del bosque, así que total tranquildad y unas vistas preciosas. Si vas a visitar Inverness y Skye, está en un lugar estupendo para que ambos lugares sean accesibles y rápidos en coche. Aparcar en la puerta es un plus.

Everything about our stay in the boys dormitory was superb. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in such a unique accommodation especially with all of the access to the abbeys modern facilities was a huge bonus. Me and my wife couldn’t get enough of the lake views from our sitting room.

Amazing stay, would totally recommend! Great location, close to everything and stocked up with everything we needed and more. The bed and sofa bed were super comfortable and parking was easy. Would love to stay again!

We stayed here at this lovely home as we explored Skye. There were three of us and we enjoyed the home and all the space we had to spread out in. Great nature watching here, and a nice view of the castle! Michelle and Matt were both helpful when we hit a snag here and there. Issues were quickly and easily resolved. The issues were on our end in terms of understanding how certain things worked. Nice instructions for checking in and out. Great dining recommendations as well. Hopefully we can return here in the future a bit later in summer when perhaps wind and rain are not so ferocious.

Katie’s charming home near the red castle ruins was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we felt wrapped in peace and magic. The cottage was beautifully kept, fully stocked, and incredibly comfortable—every detail thoughtfully arranged to make us feel at home. The setting is something out of a storybook. Waking up next to the historic ruins and soaking in the beauty of the surroundings was unforgettable. The hot tub was a highlight, especially after a day of travel. Our kids were thrilled with the darts and ping pong, and everyone slept like a dream—so quiet, so cozy. If Scotland weren’t so far away, we’d be back in a heartbeat. This may be the only trip we ever take as a family to Scotland, and we’re beyond grateful that Katie’s magical cottage was part of our journey. Thank you for everything!

I really loved this rental. It was peaceful, and had spectacular views of Portree and the surrounding landscape. Lovely, quiet, clean, and scenic views from every window and skylight. I actually really appreciated too that all windows and skylights had darkening shades. Very important since it was bright out well into the night and early in the morning.

Perfect location for enjoying Portree and exploring the spectacularly beautiful Isle of Skye! You can even walk to some outstanding hikes right from the house! Restaurants and groceries a short walk away.

Uns hat das Haus sehr gut gefallen und wir haben uns gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Es ist sehr schön in der Natur gelegen und ruhig. Mit dem Auto kommt man gut zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Unser Lieblingsplatz war draussen auf der kleinen Terasse, mit der schönen Aussicht und dem rauschen des Baches. Wir würden die Unterkunft definitiv weiter empfehlen.

Leo’s place was amazing—super comfy and spacious with absolutely breathtaking views. I’ll admit, I thought the GPS had lost its mind a couple of times… those roads are narrow. But hey, dodging sheep and cows turned out to be half the adventure! We have so many pictures of them on the road ❤️. Leo and his wife were incredibly responsive and answered all my (many) questions quickly. We already miss Fisherman’s Loft!

57 Degrees North is absolutely stunning! It is situated on the Isle of Skye perfectly. It’s a perfect distance from town to feel like you’re in the country but close enough to grab something from the store. The home was truly spotless and cozy. The views are worth every penny. Truly a special place to holiday. Instructions for the home were thorough and well thought out. The home had everything we needed for our trip.

This place was a great stay! Host was friendly, responsive, and helpful. It was close to shops and restaurants. First floor apartment so easily accessible. The washer and dryer came in handy to clean clothes. Overall it’s a great place to stay in Inverness!

Mary Flora is the best host I've ever had staying in Airbnb's all over the world. She's responsive, friendly, greets us on arrival and walks us through the whole unit. She checked in with us from time to time during our 5-day stay. The place is new, modern, clean and very comfortable and has everything you'd need to cook your own meals. Laundry facility right next door. It's in the middle of nowhere, away from all the tourists but close enough to Portree which we loved! Will definitely stay here again if we ever return to Skye. We found the place very easily .It was the ideal location for what we wanted to do The jacobite railway trip to which we found to be fabulous. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed.just one minor detail which is personal preference would have liked an airfryer. But other than that spot on

We wanted a great view of the waterfront and skyline. The outlook from this apartment is superb, and coupled with the quality of the accommodation, it really was the perfect choice. The listing is entirely genuine and accurate, and if you are looking for a special restful retreat in Oban, this is the place. Easy for access to all amenities in Oban and of course the ferry if you’re taking in Mull & Iona like we did. Perfect test at the end of the day sitting watching the view from the magnificent bay windows in the lounge. We watched the sun go down and each morning looked out again at the peaceful outlook. Amazing place and great comms from James the host was very helpful throughout our booking process.

Nice stay for one night as we were passing through town. Comfortable for my family of 4. Easy to get in and we drove into town for dinner and breakfast.

One of the most, (if not the most), beautifully located places we’ve ever stayed. The house was spotless and well-equipped with amenities. Rosie was a brilliant host and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. I'm so glad we decided here rather than staying in the town, which we were at first considering. Can't recommend this place enough!

Anthea und Dale waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir durften schon früher einchecken, und uns wurde erklärt, wo wir parken konnten. Wir wurden gefragt, ob alles gepasst habe und wie unser Aufenthalt war. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung mit einem super Ausblick. Wenn wir noch einmal nach Fort William kommen, werden wir auf jeden Fall auf Anthea und Dale zurückkommen. Ich kann einfach nur vielen lieben Dank sagen.
