Oddas

House exactly as described, with everything you need for a very pleasant stay. The house is in a mountainous area but it is the perfect starting point to visit some of the most beautiful beaches on the island (see Elafonissi, etc.) because in about twenty minutes you can reach the sea but when you return home you are completely out of the chaos, a super quiet village. The house is perfect for 4 people even if the space is unique. Renovated with great taste and convenience. It has a large terrace where you can have breakfast and dinner in the hottest hours. The owner made us find typical products when we arrived. Very appreciated. In the village there is a small tavern (kristalia cafe) where you can eat very well at low prices. Highly recommended to stay here!

Plokamos House - Alexander. A Cretan Experience!

SarahRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Great location for being able to go visit Elafonisi beach! It meant we could get to the beach early before all the tourist busses arrived. Dina was extremely friendly and helpful! She greeted us apon arrival even though we arrived late. She had out a lot of effort into the small details of the place that made it feel very homey!

Natura House (It's only 15km far from Elafonisi)

LouiseRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We have just returned for our stay and are feeling super refreshed yet a bit gloomy to no longer be in our mountain retreat! Natura house is a home from home. It is set in such a beautiful landscape. A perfect base to unwind to the sound of birdsong and cockerels, with large terraces and everything you could need. It is situated a short drive to some beautiful beaches. We were greeted to homemade produce which was a lovely touch! Communication was great and check in easy, we met Mikes dad who was very hospitable. The local people of Limni are so friendly - there is a lovely mini market , a few minutes walk away with fresh local produce, cheese, eggs etc. They also serve coffee/juice etc. As well as a great taverna (says bar/cafe) but offers true home cooking, no menu style, which is in my book the best - we had a fantastic rabbit stew, chicken and Greek salad. There is also a bigger village Elos 5 mins drive away for more restaurant / store options. Thank you Mike and family!

comfortable and nice studios

LudivineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Very cute accommodation, nice recent kitchen. Very small village, very quiet and exotic. We were able to rest in front of the mountain. Everything was clean. The owner responds quickly. We can park right in front of the accommodation, which is very easy to find. As mentioned, the refrigerator makes a lot of noise. There is also a lot of light in the accommodation in the morning at sunrise. I recommend it, it was a very nice place to stay.

Grandma Agatha's apartment

Silviu MihaiRating, 5 stars11 months ago
The house was as described and according to the pictures, I can say that more improvements than in the ad. The apartment was very clean, everything in order, extremely well equipped. I was pleasantly surprised by the way this apartment has been preserved, renovated and decorated. Vintage objects, vintage furniture, everything was to our liking. The host was also extremely responsive, friendly and flexible. Always responded to questions and requests promptly. The only small disadvantage of this house is the location, somewhere around 30min-1hour from the main attractions of the area, and the roads are quite narrow and a lot of curves, but I can still say that for the beautiful scenery offered, it is worth the time. If there was also an air conditioner, everything would be more than perfect. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, had a pleasant stay and will definitely consider coming back and will of course recommend this host to friends.☺️

Luxury Villa Oxygen in Sfinari with sunset views

NickRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This villa in Sfinari is a very special place to have a vacation. We were there for a week and wished we could have stayed longer. The villa really does look like the photos including beautiful furniture, an amazing pool, three lovely bedrooms including air con and even really nice crockery. The view from the pool is to die for - the sunsets are legendary! The location is great with the beaches at Elafonisi and Falasarna and the towns of Chania and Kissamos all being pretty close. The village itself has a few nice restaurants, but I wouldn't bother with the beach. Denis, who maintains the property, is also a godsend. On our second day we had heavy rain which left the patio and pool filled with Saharan sand! Denis turned up the next day and cleaned the whole outside space so we could carry on using it. A couple of considerations 1) the road to Sfinari is windy and mountainous, so a bit of brave driving is needed and 2) the villa is lacking basic foodstuffs like oil and herbs
