A 3-day trip to Tahoe: The entire family absolutely loved this house. The surroundings were very quiet and convenient, whether for grocery shopping or visiting attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed gathering around the fire pit, chatting, and stargazing together.

This cabin was so lovely. The common space is very cozy and the central heating/AC works perfectly. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook a dinner or prep any other food (including a spice cabinet!). There are plenty of towels and toiletries. Hot tub is amazing. Instructions were super clear and turn down is reasonable for a cabin stay. Richard was responsive to all my questions - would definitely stay here again next time we come up this way.

This was the perfect place for my family's ski vacation. It's very close to the resorts, a very short drive to the main street of Truckee, and very short walking distance to a little shopping plaza with all the basics- grocery, drugstore, ski shop, a few restaurants, etc. The condo complex is nice and peaceful, people are friendly, and the amenities are good too. The apartment itself was excellent. Clean, uncluttered, but had all the basic supplies and stuff that you need but wouldn't bring with you on vacation. Andrew was a friendly and communicative host. It was all in all a very good experience!

Fun house for a family stay in Tahoe Donner! Just a few minutes to the ski slopes and well-appointed house with fun amenities like pinball to entertain the kids.

Was a perfect place for our golf group. We had a great time and Walt was an exceptional communicator and host. Cant wait to go back next year!

Fantastic location very near Royal Gorge and Serene Lakes. We walked to skiing, and having snowshoes available added fun to our trip. We were there in the winter, so snow was piled high and it was a winter wonderland. The house is convenient to Truckee as well (25 mins away?), and has a well stocked kitchen for making meals at home. The layout is a bit odd, and the house is well worn, but it worked out fine for 3 of us. The primary bdr is downstairs, off the living room, with a tiny half bath tucked under the stairs, also off the living room. The other bdrs and main bath are all upstairs. The gas fireplace is the primary heat source, so the living room is cozy and warm - but no view outside from the couches, so it's a bit dark. The garage was a huge plus to keep our car out of the snow, and to keep us dry during loading/unloading. Ian & Eury are great, friendly, and super responsive.

We loved staying at Mike's cabin. It was a perfect relaxing getaway for us and our dogs on a very quiet street with nearby trails. We enjoyed the cozy feeling of the cabin and were glad to have a well stocked kitchen for cooking and plenty of firewood for unwinding at night. Mike was very friendly and communicative, and was able to offer some local suggestions when asked. Just a heads up - if you don't have 4 wheel drive, you may want to use chains to get up the last couple hilly streets to the cabin in case of icy or snowy conditions. Once we arrived, though, the stairs to the cabin were completely free of ice and snow. Thank you, Mike!

No better location in Dville. Bibi/Jeff couldnt be easier to work with. We have stayed here annually for 10+ years and plan on the same going forward.

This was our third time staying here. It’s a lovely area, with beautiful trees over the hot tub. It is like a little house that has everything you need in it.

It’s the little things… Spruce Haus is a great house with all the usual, necessary amenities. But it was truly the little things of the house that made this weekend trip great! Even though it was the end of the June, it snowed! So it was awesome that there’s a wood-stove-burning style fireplace, and we were able to enjoy the snow flurries, warm and cozy! Also, we love to cook so it was nice that the knives were sharp, there were basic spices, and there was plenty of cookware. The bathrooms were surprisingly well stocked including super soft toilet paper. It was also easy for us to drive to Truckee and to Tahoe City. Both places were full of tourists, but we were tourists too! We had fun window shopping and eating lunch by Lake Tahoe.

Loved staying here for our ski trip. It was so cute and the surrounding area so peaceful. Close to the downtown for groceries and only 15-20 min from Donner Ski Ranch. Will definitely come again!

Our family of 4 has a great peaceful stay at Suzanne's home. We like staying in Tahoe Donner when possible and Suzanne's home was the a great option. She was accomodating to our request before arrival and communicated quickly with questions during our stay. The kids loved discovering the kids rocking chair, sleds, baby books and DVDs! We wished we could have stayed longer. thank you for the hospitality

Fantastic condo! Very convenient location in a quiet condo complex with easy access to drive to downtown Truckee or the ski resorts. The condo was cozy with a great fireplace to warm up after a day of skiing. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking whatever you need and the community hot tub was convenient and clean. Everything in the condo was spotless and comfortable. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

The unit was perfect for our skiing trip! It was nearby the resorts and very close to stores and restaurants. The unit itself was cute and had everything we needed from a full kitchen to a comfortable living room with functioning fireplace. Renee was quick to respond and provided clear directions. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
