We cannot say enough about how fantastic our stay was. Maybe the most gorgeous property we’ve ever seen - even better than the pictures! Pia was incredibly helpful, sent us a whole printout of recommendations for different restaurants, wineries, and things to do. She is incredibly kind, responsive, and proactive - she thought of everything you may need during your stay and gave us a tour of our home. Waking up in the Tuscan countryside and watching the sun rise over the vineyards was relaxing and beautiful. The sunsets were breathtaking to see over the rolling hills in Chianti. Castellina was a cute little town with fantastic places to eat and panoramic views of the valley. And on top of all that, we made a new friend in the Public Relations Manager, Teo - you can be sure you’ll be greeted with a wagging tail and a happy little smile. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

The host was very friendly and accommodating, and the villa and surrounding areas were beautiful. We spent a ton of time at the pool/pool house, which was well equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely go back.

This villa is fabulous and so are hosts Samata and Franco. My family and I enjoyed the spacious and private villa, it’s great amenities (beautiful pool, outdoor pizza oven, numerous picturesque seating and viewing areas) as well as the great location – which offered us walking/hiking, jogging and quick trips to Siena, San Gimignano, Castelina and Florence. The home came equipped with everything we needed for our stay (kitchen supplies, laundry, ironing, great wine made on the villa for our enjoymenyt, etc.) The property vineyards and wine/olive oil making facility is beautiful and was one of the highlights of our stay. Sam and Franco are great hosts who make you feel at home but also gave our family plenty of privacy.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Bertinga for a month in Tuscan paradise — having never been to Italy, we were in for a surprise! Barbara and family were very responsive when it came to any questions about the house, specifically when it came to the new central heating system. While we wouldn’t recommend coming here in the winter again due to some issues managing/navigating the heat system, we would 100% come visit in any other season! It was truly a wonderful villa to cook and relax in, and the village is absolutely lovely. It was surrounded by beautiful vineyards and a serenity that I would love to experience in the warmer months as well. Overall we recommend this villa and absolutely love the surrounding villages and towns!
