Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Pohjois-Lappi

Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

If you're thinking about visiting Ivalo, this house is the best option. The location is excellent, just a very short distance from downtown for shopping. It's very quiet, the heating works great, it has a sauna that works very well, and the house has all the amenities you see in the photos. I traveled with my partner and we were both delighted. Niklas as a host was fantastic—he always responded to all our messages, was constantly attentive to our needs, and provided us with plenty of information about the city and its surroundings; he even took us on a night excursion to see the auroras! Totally recommended.

We loved our stay at Jyrkis beautiful villa. It had everything one could wish for - sauna, hotpot, ice for bathing, equipment for snowhiking and cross country skiing. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the pool and do a barbecue at the kota. Nothing more to wish for - the stay was perfect and jyrki a very lovely host!

Great & dear host, very quick response time. The house is super big. Great starting point for aurora lights, we also saw some directly above the house. But it is best to take a car or note that not so many buses run.

We had a wonderful stay at Juhas house. The house is very cosy and comfortable, very well equipped with all necessary supplies in the kitchen and clean. We were a family of six.

It was my second time with this house and its owner. We had a great time, felt at home. I now understand why is this home guest favorite.

We stayed at Iras place for one week and we loved every second of it! We were surrounded by beautiful nature and could really calm down there! We totally can recommend staying there :)

Quiet relaxing location. Very nice and accommodating hosts.

Neat and cozy, the property is as shown in the pictures. No luxury, but a good option for a budget traveler. 2 adults and 4 small children could stay overnight. The TV didn't work and there were too few forks, but otherwise we were satisfied.

Great location with easy access to xc ski trails, dining and supermarket

The location couldn’t be better- ski from the front door straight onto the XC groomed tracks. The place itself is cosy and comfortable- the renovated sauna was lovely, the bed super comfy and the view out the window to the snow was relaxing.

Teemu responded quickly to messages and was ready to support if you had any questions. The stay was top notch, all new and smooth.

Tiina’s place was great, exactly matched the description. We felt right at home from the first minute. We found everything we ever needed, would recommend to anyone who wants to spend peaceful holiday in Lapland.

We had a very nice time in the house of Antti. The location was perfect for us. It was very calm and peaceful. The location was also perfect to watch Northern lights. We had an incredible show in the sky just from above the house. Even though we always clean the houses we stay, I would prefer to pay an extra fee for the cleaning. That will reduce the little stress at the departure.

Juhani is very friendly and kind. He answered all our questions about access and even bought additional equipment. Unfortunately the extreme climatic conditions (-30°) and a totally snowy access in the middle of the night forced us to walk in the powder, the cold also forced us to shorten our stay but this cottage is a haven of peace , perfectly located by the lake with electricity, the latter has all the necessary comforts. Thank you to Juhani for agreeing to shorten our stay and for all his kindness. In winter I recommend this accommodation to athletes to access it and people accustomed to living conditions in the heart of nature.

Firstly, a big thank you to Riku’s. Even before we arrived he was very kind & helpful. Couldn’t recommend this property more highly. As soon as you drive into the area it’s like winter wonderland. The house is even nicer than the photos! Oh the view from the warmth of the cosy house was such a treat. So super private too. We hired a car & picked it up from the airport so it was very easy to get around. The beds were very comfortable & so were the pillows! My husband & son enjoyed the hot coals in the sauna at the house . Near bye there is a natural ice bath (March) nearby. We did so many activities. Husky ride was wonderful. A beginners country ski lesson & we all loved the snow habitants too. We also visited the reindeer. We didn’t see the Northern Lights but to be honest the whole trip was so amazing that it didn’t matter.

It was nice to have decor, board games, and seasonal lights in the cabin. There were plenty of dishes and they were functional. The sauna was very good, good steam, you could put more rocks.

heavenly place away from human activity but close to Inari at the same time. Located facing an arm of the river, calm and serenity. ideal place to see the northern lights and live in communion with nature. sauna facing the river, campfire possible. hotel proscribed and super responsive!

We spent our Easter weekend at Jusso's amazing house on the outskirts of Levi. Upon arrival, we were completely set up by the nice house that was even better than we could imagine. It was quiet in the house and in the surroundings which suited us very well, the nice kitchen and living room gave us nice opportunities to enjoy dinners and quiet evenings in front of the TV. With the smooth solution with the ransom, it was easy to get in for everyone in the company, which suited us very well as we took the opportunity to go both slalom skis, cross country skiing and sledding.

Great experience for the adventerous type. Amazing host and location. We will definitely return in the future!

Second time at this cabin. Still, everything works prematurely, and communicating with Ate is easy and quick. The cottage and surroundings match the renter's description A strong recommendation if you like the peace of nature and like to be on your own.

Cottage as described. Good instructions from the host and the cottage had everything you needed for a few days' stay. Hiking trails can be accessed from the backyard. The location is quiet, but not private, i.e. neighbors can be found within sight. I didn't realize this when I made the reservation, but it didn't bother us because the cottages were empty during our visit.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful, so peaceful and you can do cross country skiing just outside. We enjoyed the open fireplace and sauna.
