I am a San Diego local, but my family was coming to town and we needed more space. I picked this place because I knew my sister and brother-in-law would love being able to walk to all the restaurants and brewery nearby and my 6 year old nephew would get a lot of use out of the pool. The place exceeded my expectations, it was perfect for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the backyard swimming or playing board games, and my Mom got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was comfortable and clean. The only downside is my family might visit too often now!

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla! John’s place was charming, spotless, and perfect for our family. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—including beach gear—and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable: a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. John was a friendly and responsive host who made everything easy from start to finish. Honestly could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient stay in La Jolla. We’d love to come back!

We loved our stay at Mari Katherine’s Airbnb for a girl’s weekend in SD! It is a beautiful home that was spacious and thoughtfully designed and decorated to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The home feels private, but was in a fantastic location in North Park that was easily walkable to coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Mari Katherine sent clear instructions leading up to our stay, so the logistics of check in were clear and easy! When some logistical challenges came up during our stay, Mari Katherine was very responsive (even late in the evening) and offered solutions - we would be thrilled to visit again!

Quiet location, exactly as pictured and described. Parking could be a challenge if you have a large vehicle but being able to park in the garage made it easier. Great communication!

This beautiful guest home in historic Marston Hills is perfect for a San Diego getaway! It was pristine, well-maintained, and so comfortable. We were able to walk to Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo, as well as nearby restaurants and grocery stores. The pool was also a lovely amenity, and the surrounding canyon was a gorgeous backdrop. Jing is an amazing host. She truly goes the extra mile to take care of her guests. The home is stocked with amenities - kitchenware for cooking, toiletries and extra towels, even pool or beach supplies! We loved our stay in Jing’s guest home, and are so grateful for the hospitality. An amazing location and our incredible host made our stay so memorable and enjoyable. Thank you, Jing, for your hospitality. We hope to stay here again, soon!

Van was very friendly, even had great food recommendations for my family and I. The home was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. My children thought we were in a place of royalty with how well put together the house was. Loved our stay and will definitely be back

Everything about Nathan's and Ryan's home was "chef's kiss" perfection for our family [my husband and me, and our daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons (ages 3 and 5)]! The way the home is designed really impressed us. We loved the floor plan, attention to detail (complete with toddler stool & all the amazing kiddo/baby needs!), and overall extremely well executed Mid-Century aesthetic. Our grandsons lived in the lovely pool, and while we adults sometimes joined them, we really enjoyed the various wonderful and relaxing hang-out areas of the backyard throughout the day and evening. We loved staying there, and will not hesitate to come again and recommend it to anyone in need of a superb recommendation of a fabulous Airbnb in San Diego. The boys lived in the pool.

Lindsey was an amazing host and the place was just as amazing! very nice and cozy inside and it was in a perfect location about 15 minutes from downtown. every place we had planned for the trip was very close and the beach less than 4 minutes away was a nice plus! it was very clean we spilled water on the floor and when we wiped it up the paper towel came up still white! i would definitely stay here again :)

Georgie’s airbnb is beautiful and in a great location in Ocean Beach. There’s plenty to do nearby and easy to walk to. We had some trouble sleeping due to noise from airplanes, but this has less to do with Georgie’s Airbnb specifically and more to do with the proximity to the airport.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was very clean and comfortable. The location was great. It was very close to the beach and it was very peaceful throughout the day and night. We would definitely like to come back someday.

My family enjoyed staying here. It felt right at home. Close to everything, clean and so cozy. My husband loved the mattress :) and pillows.

This was the perfect location for our visit to San Diego. Close to the Marine base and to the airport. No issues parking, there was always a spot available. The turtles and koi pond were awesome! And the multiple decks provided outstanding views and an outdoor living environment. Bathrooms were updated and fabulous! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back…Thanks for a great stay!

We (me, 2 young kids, 2 elderly parents) had a great stay. Everything was clean, the area was quiet and safe with lots of parking, and there were lots of stuff for kids to play with and use. The location was also great and easy to get everywhere - train station, airport, downtown, beaches, restaurants. The hosts were super responsive and super nice. Overall we had a great experience with no issues or complaints and would love to stay again.

This stay was perfect! The place was beautiful, Nina was so communicative, and all the instructions were clear and helpful. We used the car turner and it sounds a little intimidating but it’s very simple and so convenient! I really can’t say enough good things about the place and hosts, I highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay here. Its a perfect size for our family with two toddlers. The home is super cute, well designed, clean and had everything we needed. Its also a great location, close to the beach and about 15-20 minute drive to get where we needed to.

Alyssa was the perfect host. She was easy to communicate with and was flexible on check in and check out. She brought an iron right away when I asked if there was one in the apartment. Her place was clean and perfect with tons of towels and blankets available. The bed was also super comfortable. I highly recommend this space if you are looking to stay in OB.

Had a great stay at Andrew's place. Very cozy and clean. There are lots of planes flying overhead but we got used to it very quickly and it didn't affect our sleep. Short drive to the coast and lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby.

My stay here was exactly how I wanted it to be. The home was very clean and had a lot of necessities like cookware, silverware, shower products, and so much more! Everything was super neat and organized. The bed was extremely comfy. The host was very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed, also made sure all our questions were answered. I am looking forward to staying here again when I return to San Diego. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is thinking about staying here. You definitely get your moneys worth.

We loved our stay! The home was comfortable and the view was gorgeous! We loved the soft blankets that were there to use when sitting on one of the many patios. Our group loved the home. There was plenty of room to spread out and the pool table was a plus!

It was the perfect house for our family gathering. It was a big space, well-equipped with everything you need—enough parking with the garage and a driveway for three large vehicles. The game area with an open patio was a hit! We grilled every day on that patio. I loved the heated floors in the bathrooms; they were the BEST! Local Pubs, harbors, and restaurants are within walking distance. I recommend the fish place on the corner. For a perfect beach day, many beach towels, chairs, and boogie boards are provided. Our only complaint is the “Karen Dude” neighborhood daily telling us to quiet down at 5pm with a loudspeaker. We would book here again and would recommend it.

The accommodations were fabulous. Spacious living / kitchen and a well-designed front patio that can be merged for indoor/outdoor flow. The kitchen was very well stocked with all types of appliances, dishes, serve ware as well as many cooking basics and essentials (spices, oil, coffee, etc). So easy to walk all around OB and enjoy the many beach cottages in the neighborhood. Multiple coffee shops (matcha, açaí) to choose from. We could not have had a lovelier stay. Everything in the space was new and pristine. We loved having the washer/dryer as well as a full ironing board and iron. (We were in town for a graduation)! Matthew was very helpful and responsive to all inquiries. Highly, highly recommend. 5 out of 5
