Beach house holiday rentals in Point Lookout

Can’t say enough great things about John’s property! Our family (2 adults and 2 teens) loved our long weekend away. The location is amazing, right across the street from the beach entrance and walkable to a couple eateries, supermarket and subway. It was spotless, spacious and just as shown in the pictures. Stocked with the basics, nice kitchen with everything we needed. We had a couple small questions and couldn’t get over how responsive and nice John and Ashley are. Also super easy check out, which was extra nice. We are already looking forward to booking a trip to come back!

We had a fantastic stay in Seabrite! The home is as described—clean, comfortable inside with nice backyard patio and 2 front porches. The house is full of thoughtful touches and has EVERYTHING you need for a summer or winter get away. The location is perfect, close to the beach and right in the center of town Once the car is parked you can put away the keys until its time to leave. Check-in was a breeze. The host David is communicative and kind throughout the entire stay. We love this house and highly recommend it to others. Already booked for next year.

Cassandra’s property is one of my favorite Air BnB’s to date. For a NYC trip, my wife and I decided to switch it up and stay on the north-shore of Long Island sound, instead of the typical hotel in the concrete jungle. Cassandra’s House comes stacked with upper echelon furnishings, beds, & cookware. No boiler plate decorations that are typical of most Air BnB’s like the cursive coffee sign. Cassandra has authentic artwork and antique decor making it feel very sophisticated i side. The property is situated atop a bluff overlooking the water on the North shore of Long Island. Therefore, it’s just. short walk to the beach nearby. It also is canopied by the vast nature and wildlife surrounding the neighborhood, making the outback living space out back a real deal bonus most other properties don’t provide. They also have a GIANT solo stove out back to cozy up by the fire at night. The tranquility just 45 minutes from one of the world’s largest Metropolis’s is very special.

Every room was even better than expected: • The infrared sauna in the modern bathroom felt like a luxury spa experience. • The kitchen was sleek, bright, and fully equipped, perfect for quick meals or longer stays. • The bedroom, bathed in soft blue ambient lighting, created the most relaxing sleep environment I’ve had in a while. • The living area was stylish, cozy, and equipped with a large flatscreen TV—ideal for winding down. Anthony was an outstanding host—warm, communicative, and quick to respond to any questions. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. Whether you’re traveling for work, wellness, or a quiet getaway, this space delivers on all fronts. I’ll absolutely be back.

Christina’s place is a lovely cottage by the marina and walkable into town. The main loft bedroom and sitting area is spacious and comfortable. We stayed for the holiday with our adult daughter and we were all comfortable and cozy. She had her own bedroom on the main floor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay while we visited our family over the holiday.

This was a beautiful Airbnb. Just like the photos. A very short walk to the beach (30 second walk from the house), close to everything, and the entry to the beach walked right onto the playground which was great with our kids. The host was very responsive and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again. Felt right at home!

Prince was a wonderful host, very responsive and quick to assist with any needs. Spotless house that felt like a home away from home. Gino’s pizza very close by. Quiet neighborhood. Full kitchen, plenty of street parking. 10/10

We had a great stay! The home was exactly as described, clean, spacious, organized, and beautifully maintained. The hosts were very responsive and made the check-in process smooth and easy. The location was convenient with great restaurants nearby and plenty of amenities. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable experience!

David was a great host! The attention to detail was very good. We felt right at home. I would stay here again for sure!

Karen’s home was so beautiful, well decorated and comfortable. The home was very well equipped with everything we needed including high end amenities all throughout the home and a chefs kitchens dream. We have stayed in Airbnb’s in many parts of the country and the home far exceeded our expectations. On top of that Karen was a kind and responsive host. We really would give this host and home 10 stars if that was possible. Highly recommend that you book the home of you have the opportunity.

This was truly a unique home in a quaint spot in New Rochelle. A friendly neighbor actually knew the original owner who she said was a Buddhist, which makes so much sense. The decor and homeyness was welcoming and intriguing. The house itself is very clean and well laid out for the space. The house is on a corner right next to a park which not a lot of traffic that comes through. The only downside is the lack of parking, the driveway fits one car. We would definitely stay again if in the area!

We we’re going to Port Jefferson for a family wedding. Our Airbnb was perfectly situated. There is a pool area that we never used because we just didn’t have time. But it looked very inviting. The town of Port Jefferson had plenty of nice restaurants and shops. This house was perfect for our situation. We had six adults, all family members.

Great and responsive host. Home was lovely and we felt welcome. Host responded quickly to questions and requests. The home was very peaceful and relaxing. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio and pool area. I would recommend for a peaceful time away from the city.

We have stayed at other Airbnb in New Jersey and Danny’s place has been priced just right. The location was very peaceful and had almost everything close by like Walmart, target, dollar tree etc. We were glad to have dedicated parking. The kitchen was spacious and clean. We didn’t hear any noise from the tenant upstairs as described by other guests that stayed here previously. The pantry was decently stocked for essentials such as spices, sugars, seasonings etc. There is also a nice laundry in the basement with detergent supplied by the host.

One of the best AirBnBs we've ever stayed at, and we've stayed at many! Our host was super friendly, very responsive and helpful. We had some welcome treats which were greatly appreciated. The house is really well renovated and decorated, and it's very comfortable for a family of 4 (I suspect you could be comfortable with 6 people). The backyard and especially the pool is really beautiful and we spent hours enjoying the pool. We also loved that we could walk 5-7 minutes into town to explore the cute few local shops/restaurants. Smith Point Beach was an easy 20 minute drive away, and there's lots of things to do within a half hour drive. Overall, we would likely come back to Bellport specifically so we can stay at this place. Highly recommended!

So there are apparently not enough characters allowed in the review to fully express our pleasure staying at this wonderful place. We have stayed in multiple Airbnbs with our business the past five years and this particular one is in the top three. Upon approach, take in the charming brownstones and tree lined streets. Once you open the door, you are greeted with natural light filled space with a chefs kitchen. The decor is modern, yet not stark. The added elements, such as the exposed brick and wood, emanate a warmth and coziness. The outdoor back space is just right, but sitting on the front steps is the best because you meet all kinds of charming characters around the neighborhood. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with dream bathrooms, right down to the showerheads. beds were SO comfortable and perfect for melting into a deep sleep after a day in Manhattan. Favs:bathrooms, kitchen island, neighborhood shops and cafes, argh there’s not enough room left just book it already!!

My family of 4 (including a 2 and 6 year old) stayed at Chris’ place for two nights for a quick getaway for spring break. Chris was incredibly helpful, by providing suggestions for us/the kids on local attractions, and was quick to help us problem solve when we couldn’t find a blender attachment for our morning smoothies. The house is beautiful, well equipped (especially with kid-specific items (high chair, stroller, books), and he also provided some provisions for our stay. I highly recommend this Airbnb if you’re looking to stay in this area!

Close to the beach. Easy parking. Quiet neighborhood. Good communication from the host. However the WiFi was out but I didn’t need it anyway. Overall the stay was pleasant and nice.

Well-appointed and beautiful new property with space for a family of four to spread out and feel comfortable. We greatly appreciated the beach chairs and towels and beach pass so that we could enjoy the private beach access down the road. The board games and family-friendly downstairs space was also a wonderful addition! Chris was an incredibly friendly and responsive host; I was comfortable asking questions at anytime during our stay.

The house was just as described and just as the photos show. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds, linens and pillows. Pretty neighborhood, and peaceful.

Our stay in Sea Bright was better than expected. The house was large and very clean. The distance to the beach, stores, shops was excellent and easily walkable. Lisa was very easy to communicate with and helpful. This was hands down our best Airbnb stay, yet!

Ben’s place was perfect for a long weekend beach getaway for two. Walkable to beach and restaurants, pet friendly as well. We will be back!

Angelique's home is absolutely charming and located in a lovely neighborhood. We were in town for a race at Jones Beach and loved how quiet and relaxing both her home and neighborhood were. The ground floor was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. Upstairs was quite cozy but there is also a bathroom on the main floor so my husband and I each "took" one. The home is very well located with easy access to local restaurants and coffee shops. Highly recommend.
