House holiday rentals in Poipu, Koloa

We loved this house! It was everything we needed with an open plan kitchen, living room and dining room overlooking a beautiful swimming pool. Kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, cookware etc that we needed. Beds were comfortable with A/C in each individual room. Wonderful private backyard which we enjoyed after coming back from shopping or the beach. Hosts were responsive, friendly and polite.

Beautiful inside and out! Clean and wonderful linens. Natural light in every room. Walkable to beaches on sidewalks. No chickens in the neighborhood! Means no roosters in the morning. (a rarity). The house is on a short, quiet street with other amazing houses. We had everything we needed. The AC in bedrooms was more than sufficient.

Very clean and well appointed condo with ocean view. Recreational gear was available. Host provided notebook with pertinent information about the condo and the area. Parking was readily available.

We had a fantastic stay! Anneliese made everything so easy. She provided super clear directions and it was so simple to check in/check out. She was friendly and communicated well. The location is very walkable to the nearby coffee shop, restaurants, and beaches. You can tell these hosts thought about all the little details like the beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, and beach toys. We really enjoyed it!

We absolutely loved our stay in Lisa's home in Koloa! The house was very clean, comfortable, and felt like home for us during our stay. We loved sitting on the outdoor balcony watching the sunrise or just hanging out, reading and relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedrooms and bathrooms had great space, and it was a 15 minute walk to nearby restaurants and shopping. The massive couch was great for our family of 5, and we enjoyed playing games at the dining table. The location was also convenient to activities we had scheduled during our stay. We highly recommend this house and the Koloa area!

We had a wonderful stay in the Orchid Suite! The space was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean every day. Communication with our hosts was smooth and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. One of the highlights was the quiet air conditioner—so rare and so appreciated! We slept perfectly every night. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient getaway.

Nice home, great for our family of 6. Each bedroom was the same size as the master, each with similar bathrooms which were big and spacious. Great home. Slightly older furniture but in good condition. Pool was nice and enjoyed having a hot tub. Would stay here again. Also is a very good location for poipu, on a golf course and neighborhood is great for walking and biking.

Awesome place to stay! House was very clean and modern with a lot of thoughtful details. Location is perfect for exploring all that kauai has to offer, given proximity to wailua river, the easy drive to northern beaches, but also to southern areas for Allerton, etc. Peter was very responsive and suggested some great hikes that weren’t on our radar. But we also just enjoyed being in the house for down time after all our activities, with windows open and that ocean breeze blowing through. We didn’t want to leave.

The place surpassed all our expectations. The views from the balcony of the mountains, lush trees, flowers and waterfalls are so beautiful. We definitely want to go back. You will not be disappointed!!

We loved our stay at Christofer’s place! The location is incredible! Poipu beach is just a few steps from the house, and we really enjoyed seeing the turtles sleeping on the beach. The house is warm, confortable and fully equipped. The beds and linens were excellent, and we loved the balcony views! Christofer was responsive and extremely helpful. We are looking forward to staying at this place again soon!

Another great stay in Koloa! This home never disappoints. It’s such a great set-up for a family, has the most amazing views, and it’s such a great spot to get around the island.

This house was perfect. The porch was nestled up against the forest and we had horses visit us each day. It was a very short walk to a quiet beach and a short drive to Hanalei Bay for groceries. Honestly didn’t feel like we needed to go anywhere else on the island because this place was so relaxing.

We had an amazing stay. The layout of the home was perfect for our multigenerational family gathering. The home was beautiful and clean with a fully stocked shed filled with beach amenities (tons of chairs, beach blankets, sand toys, and snorkeling gear), we didn't need to bring or buy anything. The beaches were a 15 min walk on a pathway through a community green space with beautiful gardens along the way. The property management company was super responsive and answered all of our questions very quickly. Overall, an awesome stay.

Excellent location to walk to the beach every morning and see the sea turtles. The beds were comfy and kitchen had everything anyone could need. We loved the use of the beach chairs. A great place that we plan to return to.

A Kauai gem, highly recommend! The house was amazing along with all of its amenities. Nestled at the end of a quiet cul de sac with beautiful views. Convenient location to everything on the north shore!

Perfect condo for an island getaway. The condo matched the pictures and was relaxing and comfortable. Perfect place to come back to after a long day of beach adventures. Would definitely stay here again!

Tiana was a wonderful host and the home was perfect for our family's visit to Kauai! She was quick to respond to any questions we had and we even got to visit with her during the week when she brought us some fruit grown by her family! Great recommendations on different area beaches and activities. Loved the home, the spacious gathering places, A/C when needed (but not needed much!), and the location within walking distance of a number of beaches, which was perfect for us. Very clean. Found everything we needed in the kitchen. The boogie boards and beach equipment was super helpful (used every day!). Will definitely stay here again when we return (hopefully soon!).

We have stayed at many different properties of Susanne’s over the years, and this was one of our favorite places to stay. Exactly as depicted in the ad. Super clean and super convenient. We can’t wait to come back to Kauai and stay in one of Susanne’s properties in the future.

Incredible vacation thanks to the perfect home base. This home is comfortable and thoughtfully appointed, with little extras that really set it apart…all the beach toys you could want (cruiser bikes, surf boards and car roof carry system, boogie boards, snorkel gear, cooler, chairs). Our family of four didn’t need to rent a thing, which saved us money and hassle. The home is also stocked with bath products, paper products and everything a home cook will need or want. The location is terrific, with walking paths and beaches nearby, along with restaurants, a market and more. Our teens loved riding bikes to the beach on their own and grabbing gear right from the garage to add to the fun. Ian and Melissa are very good at what they do; they’re kind, responsive and thoughtful, taking care of every need. If you’re looking for a beautiful home-away-from-home, this is it. We’ll definitely be back.

My family of 6 stayed 5 nights at this beautiful property. The house sits secluded in its own grove of fruit trees, surrounded by a canal. It is also just a short few-min walk to Moloa’a Bay, which is never too crowded. The spacious house has everything you need to cook meals, or enjoy some downtime on the wrap-around porch. It also comes equipped with all of the necessities you would need for enjoying the beach- kayaks, surf boards, snorkels, towels, fishing rods, and more!

Fabulous location, steps from Hideaways, short stroll to Queens Bath and 1 Hanalei. We walked everywhere, saw tons of turtles, kitchen is well appointed, exceeded our hopes, thank you!

We loved our stay at this beautiful condo. I wish I could hire the owners to decorate my own house because everything was just stunning. My daughter said, “this is my dream beach house!” We appreciated how well stocked everything was. We felt right at home. All the beach gear was perfect for our family of 5. We also appreciated that the check out “to do” list was short and sweet. We loved the açaí bowl place that was within walking distance and we loved how close the condo was to Hanalei town. My only suggestion is if you’re traveling during the summer months, stop by and turn on the AC units in the rooms before going to explore the town. We didn’t and regretted that because it took a little while to cool down the house. But after a couple of hours, the condo was very comfortable. Don’t hesitate to book this spot- it’s great!

Our family had such a relaxing vacation here. We already knew the area so we knew the location would be great but the pictures really don’t do the home justice. The home is beautiful but also has a true island feel. The walls of windows allow you to view sunsets from anywhere in the main living space. The lanai is also large and has a great view of the ocean and sunsets. Eddie was a fantastic host. He met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the home as well as the history of the property. We felt so welcomed and safe during our stay. The home has everything you need for a comfortable vacation. It felt like a neighborhood rather than a hotel or cookie cutter vacation rental. We loved our vacation and loved all our chats with the hosts, Eddie & Marlene. This place is truly a gem and added so much more to our vacation than other rentals have ever done!
