We had a lovely stay at Yiannis his place. The communication was very smooth and he left us a basket of traditional Greek products, raki, homemade jam and his own produced olive oil. The apartment was clean and comfortable, it has everything you may need. The location was perfect for exploring the west side of Crete. I recommend his place.

The Airbnb was fantastic, very modern and spacious with an amazing view. The host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and also during our stay. One of the best Villa’s I have ever stayed in, the pictures do not do it justice. Highly recommend choosing this for your stay in Greece. Only bad thing is that we had to leave to come back home!

Exceptional place to stay with an exceptional host. Manolis is the kind of person who makes you love AirBnB rentals. The house is very large and as described, in a very small isolated village but very easily accessible by car. Everything is there: Terraces, Barbecue, washing machine, stove, cooking utensils, air conditioning... you feel at home and it's really great! The big plus is Manolis himself. Upon arrival, he took the time to introduce us to the house, to recommend to us on a map all the beaches, taverns and things to visit in the area. The fridge is filled with beers, food, fruit, coffee. The kitchen is ready to be used because Manolis provides everything his guests need (salt, pepper, oil, raki, aluminum foil... ... it's magic). We can only recommend this house and its host is the best. Thank you very much Manolis for this stay.

A fabulous stay at Kourthiana. Sally went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. Location and views lovely with a couple of great restaurants/tavernas within walking distance. Easy for us to reach places like Balos and Paleochora by car. Thank you, Sally and Gord :)

We are super happy! Have been traveling for a month and changed land and accommodation for time. This is absolutely the best accommodation we had. Large apartment that is well planned, with high standards and nicely furnished. Elpida is an amazing positive person who is welcoming and moaning about us during the stay. We have been invited to both dessert and dinner 👌The apartment was cleaned after a week's stay and then bed linen and towels were also changed. We have moved in the nearby area, hiking to the Monastery and to the centuries-old olive tree, gone to the Chania md local buses Travonitis is a nice and genuine community. When we were there there were very few tourists but still good service with cafe, bakery, supermarket and restaurants open. We’ve never experienced an Airbnb like this – in terms of both the villa and the hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Eftychis and his wonderful mother – you made our stay unforgetable! We were seven people, including three children (one toddler), and everything was just perfect. The villa is spotless, beautifully designed, and extremely well-equipped – the kitchen had top-tier appliances, and the baby gear was modern, clean, and like new. The house is set in a peaceful location with a breathtaking sea view. When we arrived, a delicious homemade Greek salad and cookies were waiting for us – such a warm welcome! Eftychis was available via chat the whole time: kind, helpful, and always with great local recommendations. This place truly combines beauty, comfort, and care. We’d come back without hesitation. Quite, beautiful space although the birds all around might wake you up but we didn’t mind that. The host is very friendly and replied quickly to all requests. We definitely can recommend that apartment, we enjoyed our stay a lot ☺️

There are not enough words to describe how beautiful Villa Greco and its surroundings are. Set amongst olive groves with panoramic views of the mountains it truly is spectacular. From the top floor balcony off the main bedroom you can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset. The other top floor bedroom has a balcony and the downstairs bedroom has a patio, all have tables and chairs. The villa is so well equipped and has everything you can possibly need. The garden is beautiful with many colourful shrubs, flowers and fruit trees. It is also very private with no near neighbours. We were met by our host Naoum and his uncle who made us a traditional Cretan meal and left us oranges, avocados, olive oil and wine. What a lovely welcome! Naoum was the perfect host and we couldn’t have asked for more. It was our first visit to Crete and we could not have chosen a better villa. We particularly enjoyed Falassarna Beach 20 km from the villa and Palaiochora, a 55km drive through the mountains.
