Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Polk County

The home was awesome, and Matthew was a tremendous host. He met us upon check in and made himself available for any questions or suggestions about the house or the area! His home is a charming older Victorian home; way cooler than other Air BNBs we have stayed in - Tons of character. It also easily accommodated our larger family group for our son's wedding. I highly recommend Matthew and this home!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. We came down for a baseball tournament in Albany and instead of staying in a hotel we opted for a brief family vacation on this beautiful farm, and wow are we thankful. The farmhouse is adorable and stocked with literally everything and more. This might be one of the more well stocked airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in with many above and beyond items (single use makeup wipes, organic bubble bath products and bath bombs, full multi-syrup coffee bar, etc). So cozy. Location is private with some other residences on the HUGE property but we felt very on our own. The property is gorgeous and is a wildlife sanctuary. Turkeys, beaver, eagles, pigs, chickens, herons, bullfrogs, rabbits and so many birds for bird watchers. Our kids loved it here and we will be back and recommend to all!

Very nice and cozy home; I stayed 14 days and I loved every minute. The hosts were very responsive and proactive. I had no issues with it being a main road but I suggest to ALWAYS park in reverse so it is easy when you are trying to come out into the traffic. I would definitely stay here again.

Cutest little house in Monmouth that was perfect waking distance to downtown. Very clean and had everything you could need. Very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back! :)

A delightful, lovingly restored, peaceful, and clean cottage! Every detail was so thoughtfully designed. A great place to recoup after the fun whirlwind of our niece’s graduation in nearby Monmouth. Chris and Iris were wonderful hosts and so was our stay!

I loved staying at Heathers home! It was absolutely the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. She had everything done for us, was very helpful with quick responses, and overall the best host I have ever had. Highly recommend her place if you are into the Mid-century modern style. Also the beds are absolutely insane. Best sleep of my life.

Molly really created a sweet and memorable experience with her newly remodeled rental accommodation. The home is extremely clean and is nestled within a quiet neighborhood. Additionally, her communication was warm and welcoming.

The BnB is the 1st floor of their home. It has a fabulous patio surrounded by trees and bushes. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio with a glass of wine in the evening . The wildlife is fun to watch. We love birds, but the squirrels and chipmunks were also quite entertaining! The setting is private and we felt very safe. Normally and Win are very kind people.👍

Kristi's place is absolutely amazing! I've never stayed in such a pristine and spacious rental! I would highly recommend Valley View to anyone who want a country get away close to the city! The games and pool table were very fun, the piano was awesome, thoroughly enjoyed the pool table! Incredible movie screen - literally! Very cozy couch with throw blankets, lots of towels and the beds were super comfortable! Go Kristi, A++ for your amazing space! Thank you so much for sharing!

It was very clean and when we needed further instructions, the host responded quickly. The location was close to downtown and centrally located. The neighborhood was peaceful.

Despite its age, everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. The host went above and beyond with the extras—everything from snacks and coffee to little touches that made it feel like home. The room was quiet, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and welcoming place to stay!

Jordan was so sweet to me and my friends! We stayed here for my 21st birthday and Jennifer and Jordan both got me a card and some little snacks! They were very responsive and offered to help us out with anything we needed! We definitely will be coming back!

Great place for a very private “Nest” at the edge of town. Easy to get to and plenty of space in the upstairs Living and Bed rooms. Easy access to WOU so heavily recommend for any Wolves’ visitors! Joni and her husband are awesome hosts and very accommodating. Extra star!
