House holiday rentals in Ponderay

We stayed as a family of 8, and all of us loved the place! The house is spacious and so comfortable. Since Travis and Kim live across the street, it was nice to shake hands and talk for a bit. The house’s location for our primary objective - Silverwood - contributed to our fondness for the beautiful setting. Thank you!

David and Stacey hosted me. They were very responsive and quick to reply. They had all the amenities I needed to feel right at home. They even had cute kit for ones bathroom, kitchen, and laundry necessities. The neighborhood was overall peaceful and quiet. It was also nice to have a grocery store and some restaurants that were only a few miles up the road. I definitely recommend!! 5 Star review from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you for hosting me. 😊

We have stayed in many vacation rentals in much of the country and this is one of the best. It is exactly as described, maybe better! Everything is clean and fresh and it has everything needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is well stocked and everything is labeled so it's fast & easy to put things away. Bed was comfortable as was the rest of the furniture. It's a lovely setting overlooking the pond and very relaxing. We could (and did) sit on the patio and watch the surroundings for hours. Kyle & Tara have created a great "home away from home".

Great Place to stay! My family had a great weekend enjoying the beautiful view and indoor pool. Definitely would stay again.

There are a few maintenance items that should be looked into, and some parts of the house were smudged/dirty like the TV screen in the living room, and the cooktop. Make sure you are checking all emails and texts! All of your instructions for getting into the home are on their website page for you, so getting in (door code) was a bit confusing compared to other Airbnbs we have stayed in. That site has everything you need, check-in and out, WiFi, door and gate codes, etc. I just didn’t know to look there at first. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved our stay in Dover! The cottage was perfectly situated. It had everything we needed for a great weekend. We ate at the restaurant next door, and it was delicious. We also grilled on Abby’s barbecue, which worked awesomely. We ended up renting a boat at the marina next door, which was super convenient. My boys would have loved better fishing options from the shore/dock (you are not allowed to fish off the dock), and access to the pool. Other than that, it was a perfect stay in Dover.

I have stayed here many times now. I love it - peaceful, clean, great craftsmanship, comfortable beds, and beautiful setting. Highly recommend it!

The hot tub was delightful and perfectly situated to maximize the amazing views seen from all over the house. We even enjoyed the deck chairs on a sunny winter day. Inside, the separately controlled thermostats did not go unnoticed by me (hot mama.)😉. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen, especially things like crockpot, oil, sugar, flour and ziplock bags. My daughter in law the awesome cook, especially loved the spices. A 2 cup liquid measuring cup and a water pitcher would make kitchen perfect in my opinion. The recent remodeling was lovely. The bedrooms are large enough to get around with suitcases, etc. The laundry room, hallway and pantry provided plenty of space to spread out and organize Christmas gifts, etc. Extra space is a rare commodity in most rentals. The beds were all very comfy. The remodeled bathrooms sparkled and we loved the higher vanities. An extra towel bar/ring by the sinks and a robe hook would be useful and I'm certain on the "to do " list since remodeling

This property is absolutely enchanting and so romantic. It was the perfect peaceful getaway my husband and I needed after a stressful time. The view is breathtaking, and the house is situated to take full advantage of it.

Wonderful, cozy home. Perfect for our family with plenty of room to spread out in, and great spaces for being together. Well-stocked with everything we needed. The host was readily accessible and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We could tell that Robert and Ellen went to work for us. We had everything we needed and then some. They are thorough, detail oriented and very pleasant to interact with. Splitting the cost with a couple of good friends made it reasonable. First morning saw an owl out of the window out from the porch in the trees. Firs night saw a huge bull moose right under the porch. Looked like he thought it was as his home. Looking forward to visiting again next year.

Great place to stay! The home is beautiful inside, and surrounded by beautiful open space. The master bedroom was comfortable. The master shower is very luxurious with its multiple jets. Lots of closet space if you need that. The kitchen is very well furnished - good knives, multiple cutting boards, mixing bowls, measuring cups, utinsels, lots of plates/bowls/glasses/mugs, and serving dishes. It's great to have your crew sitting at the kitchen island while prepping a meal. The fireplace adds a warm ambience and warmth. The floors are polished concrete with heating coils so bring your thick socks or slippers to soften up the walking. The bunk room has 2 bunk beds = 4 beds. The game room has a pull-out bed that was judged to be "very comfortable". The 2nd bathroom has a double sink area and then a separated toilet & shower room, so it can handle all the people. There are two cool cats that live in the garage. They will greet you and want pets if you're into that.

Highly recommend, the home itself is beautiful, but the million dollar views make the home even more spectacular. You wake up in the morning to a view of the lake, amazing and so peaceful. We arrived late so it was a little tricky finding the place in the dark. The GPS said we had arrived at the location but we still needed to go about a half mile further. There is a sign for house number 467, keep going past that. You will see a white garage like building on your left, turn left and take the road down about a quarter of a mile. It’s a little windy but takes you right to the house. We took our granddaughters to Silverwood Theme Park, it’s outstanding. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

I can’t say enough about this place. It is literally heaven on earth. Not only is the host extremely nice and easy to get in touch with, her space is AMAZING. Everything was clean, organized, she had everything you could need. One night we planned on going downtown Sandpoint and we opted to stay at the cabin to enjoy it because it was so cozy and enjoyable. We will be back! This place is an absolute must!!!!!

This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood with spectacular views. We loved it so much we extended our stay and are already talking about coming again next year. There is a nice hiking trail right down the road and other hiking and biking trails a short drive away. We were able to kayak right off the pier, although there are a number of stairs you need to take down to the water which was clearly shown in the photos. Brandy was very helpful with local recommendations and immediately responsive to our questions. We had a great week!

The location was close to all restaurants, shops, and bars in town. It was clean, and comfortable. The bathroom, and shower were attractive. It was nice to have the kitchette, and laundry facilities available. Thank you, Shelby.

My family + 2 other families thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Brandon was extremely thoughtful and helpful before and during our stay. We even saw a baby black bear (cinnamon colored) our first morning at the lodge and saw a moose on our way back up the mountain the second day! Another big plus for our family was that the pots/pans were all stainless steel which we don’t usually see. Everything in the home was well stocked and thoughtfully planned throughout.

We thought the house was fantastic! There were seven of us all together, and we could gather inside comfortably and outside comfortably with us all. We could also find spaces away from each other when needed. Beautiful home decor with very comfortable furniture. We loved the kayaks, we had great weather to spend a lot of time outside on the dock, and in the water. Thank you for giving us access. We appreciate it and enjoyed priest very much.

Four of us stayed at Leo’s place for a month, and it was perfect for remote work—great Starlink internet and all the amenities we needed. Leo was even kind enough to set up extra desks for us. The location is super convenient, just a 10–15 minute walk or a quick 2 minute drive to the ski shuttle, with easy access to town for groceries, restaurants, and the gym.. Highly recommend!
