This was one of my favourite stays in France. The accommodation is rustic but for me it was perfect. The location was so peaceful (and close to some really interesting ancient sites) that I felt I could have stayed there longer. The cat is totally adorable... we became firm friends during my time there so much so that I woke to find her cuddled up next to me. Fully recommended - I will definitely stay here again!

Joanne's cottage is a great haven of peace. There is a beautiful, peaceful park bordered by a small river. It offers shaded and sunny areas according to everyone's wishes. The house is very large and has a lot of charm, the charm of the old with a touch of typical English atmosphere. It was a real pleasure to stay with Joanne. Thanks to her and her husband for their sympathy and smiles. We recommend it 100%.

Chez Gerard, a gem in the Creuse. We stayed 10 nights in the gite Chez Gerard. A very pleasant cottage, with a huge garden where the dog could run free. In addition, the hosts Gerard and Marjon were more than friendly and made our stay feel very warm. We have enjoyed the tranquility, the space and the beautiful surroundings. Absolutely recommended!

Charming house and very quiet environment... you only hear the sounds of nature. Very relaxing. The house is beautiful, tastefully furnished. The beds are comfortable, the sitting area is convenient and the garden is ideal for a nap at the end of the day. Of course, the downside of this calm is that you are far from everything and you have to drive a lot. But that's the price of tranquility.
