Marugg's place exceeded all of our expectations!!!! Lugano was our final stop on our 2 week family trip through Italy. We experienced many beautiful places throughout the 2 weeks but Marugg's place exceeded them all!!! The attention to detail was phenomenal. The location was 'perfetto,' the views spectacular and the home pristine. Our grandchildren made excellent use of the pool and the outdoor space was incredible! We enjoyed our morning coffee on the expansive patio area soaking in the tranquil views of the lake and all of the beautiful flowers. The smell of honeysuckle abounded outdoors ~ Marugg's home truly encompassed all of the senses. We cannot recommend it enough and we can't wait to return on our next visit to see our Swiss family! Marugg, thank you so much for your kind hospitality! We feel honored to have been welcomed into your exceptional home. We made so many beautiful memories with our family. We will treasure them forever! Until next time ...

The most friendly host family I have met here on AirBnB. We were greeted with some local cookies as a welcome gift, got plenty of great local recommendations and tips. There is an AC which was amazing, as Verceia gets quite hot in June. Mara was so kind and offered to drop us off at the bus stop the day we left - thanks again! The only downside was that there is a dog living in a cage underneath the bedroom window (not the hosts dog though!) - and it was barking and making a lot of noise at 530am. Closing the window helped though. Would definitely stay again, thanks Mara! ❤️

Louise was so sweet and her home is a little gem with the BEST bathtub EVER in the bedroom. Such a cool place and very roomie for a couple. Beautiful decor! Love the interior design touches mixing the old stone with more modern elements. The only negative was finding parking. Luckily we found a little spot all the way down the hill in front of the school….but this is Lake Como so we’re used to hiking up the hill!:) Just an FYI for anyone with mobility issues. We loved our stay and especially loved our meals out on the deck and also enjoyed Villa Lario built into the cliff just below. Fun experience:) We’d love to return sometime!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Sweet Escape. Innocenta and Fabio were very generous and hospitable. They picked us up from the bus station and gave us local recommendations. The place is clean and the AC works well in the bedroom. The location is incredible and you really can’t beat the views for the price. Varenna is a beautiful city, Innocenta and Fabio make it feel like home. Hopefully we will be back!

Nicholas and his wife were lovely hosts. He was very communicative before our arrival, which was helpful because the parking was a little tricky. He met us and helped carry our luggage up to the apartment. The view from the apartment is spectacular. It is very clean and simple yet lovely and comfortable. There were outside spaces to congregate on either side of the apartment. The location was convenient. He was very helpful with suggestions on where to eat, buy groceries, and when to arrive places to miss crowds. We wished we were staying longer. I highly recommend.

Die Unterkunft „Sweet Memories“ hat unseren Aufenthalt am Comer See perfekt gemacht. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet, absolut sauber und gut erreichbar gelegen. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl. Gravedona selbst ist eine traumhafte Stadt – ruhig, charmant und mit herrlichem Blick auf den See. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeber Carlos und Valentino, die unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend waren. Man merkt sofort, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste am Herzen liegt. Wir können „Sweet Memories“ wärmstens empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Our absolutely favourite stay in Italy! Just loved the apartment and the surrounding gardens. Marzia was very welcoming and on arrival and gave us a grand tour of the total complex and gardens (which were absolutely stunning!!) The apartment was lovely, and very comfortable, and having an outdoor patio was definitely a bonus! It was very private and relaxing, but only a 20 minute walk into Bellagio tourist area There was a supermarket, and some lovely restaurants close by. Both Marzia and Lorenzo were great to liaize with and we loved our stay with them so much, that we are definitely returning next year

Appartement en rez de chaussée agréable, décoration personnalisée, rénovation de qualité, lits confortables. Tout y est. Le + : une belle lingerie au sous sol si vous avez besoin. A 45 minutes en voiture de la villa carlotta par exemple, le logement est bien situé pour les visites. Place de parking . jardin agréable. Chiara est très réactive. les cadeaux d'accueil nous ont fait plaisir.
