Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Pope County

Our family of 6 had a wonderful week at Carmen’s place. Our family enjoyed playing and fishing in the creek, watching fireflies in the evenings, playing cards on the porch, and watching the cows in the pasture. While we were there one of the momma cows had a baby and that was very fun to see the new calf. One evening we even got to watch a couple of beavers down at the creek too! The beds were all very cozy and the cabin is super cute. When we weren’t enjoying the creek, we enjoyed hiking Petite Jean state park, tubing on Lake Dardanelle, and kayaking the Buffalo. Carmen’s recommendations for the local taco restaurant and Cool Cats Ice cream shop were both delicious! We would all recommend Carmen’s place for a fun and relaxing get away!

We had a great stay at Kelli and Steve’s! The house was clean, modern, and beautiful. Kelli personally met us and checked us in. She gave us a helpful tour of the house and where to find everything. The kids loved the snacks (sorry Kelli, I think they cleaned you out!) and the pool. The pool was clean and ready for fun. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood. Very quite and peaceful. We were in town to attend an ATU football game. Great location for that. Close enough to be convenient and far enough away to be relaxing. Billie Ann was a great host. Very thoughtful and communicative. Hope to stay again sometime.

Wonderful! Everything was perfect. Quiet, beautiful, close to town and had every amenity you could think of and then some. Highly recommend!

We had the best time at the GORGEOUS home! Everything was perfectly clean and labeled. There was plenty of space for a couple families to stay and have everything we need! The views are breathtaking! We would love to be able to come back and stay again!

What an absolutely beautiful and serene place. Secluded enough to unwind and spend some time decompressing. Close enough to run to the grocery store or a restaurant.

Debbie's cabin in the woods was more than we had hoped for! Yes, it is very much off the beaten path, but Debbie's instructions were clear, and the secluded mountain cabin was exactly what was needed. We spent most of our time outdoors, hiking around the area, listening to bird song and the wind in the trees, reading in rocking chairs, cooking out, star-gazing... The interior feels cozy, comfortable, well appropriated. There are screened-in windows on all four sides of the cabin, so you can feel like you're still in the treetops! There is also HVAC, a Roku TV, a full kitchen with what you need (bring a wine key!). The best part is a large jacuzzi bathtub in the bedroom. It was an amazing place to relax and listen to a passing thunderstorm one night. I highly recommend Debbie's Cabin in the Ozark National Forest and wish we had another couple of days there to remind us further of what is important in life. :)

The house and land were perfect for our little family get away. The land and privacy was lovely and our dog absolutely loved exploring. The house is a ways from any shopping so no quick runs to the store for something you forgot. We spent the days exploring and returned in the evenings for dinner and family time. We were able to make many dinners in the stocked kitchen, s’mores in the fire pit, and had excellent views of the night sky. Lots of little touches to help you feel at home. I would recommend staying at Amy’s!!

A beautiful retreat next to a stunning peaceful Arkansas creek. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and listening to the cascading creek waters. We were able to ride our side by side to numerous trails, creeks and waterfalls. What a treat to stay at this retreat. Highly recommend a visit.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Meek’s Mountaintop Retreat. We were looking for a place to relax, slow down, and enjoy nature, and this was the perfect place. The house had all we needed. The views from the living room were breathtaking. The kitchen was well stocked with anything a person could need to cook with. The bedroom was so cute and the bedding was comfortable. We had all we needed to stay warm when the cooler weather came while we were there. We loved the historic character and charm of the home. As I cooked breakfast, I watched the deer eat and play out the back porch. We grilled and dined on the tables outside. We lounged on the outdoor furniture and drank coffee. It was perfect. The trail system and Sunrise Point is also just steps away from the house. Views were spectacular and pictures don’t do justice. Deborah was friendly, helpful and very accommodating!

WOW!!! The Rock House was so great! You cannot beat the location. Walking distance to turtle rocks and rock cave trail! The inside and outside of this house was perfect for my youngsters! We absolutely loved it. They had everything we needed to use to cook and for coffee. Thank you!!

We had a delightful and very laid back time out in the country on top of beautiful Petit Jean Mountain. Rebecca was very prompt in replying to our questions, and after a few settling in issues (smart tvs…ha!) we felt right at home. The screened in porch was our favorite place and we spent hours there reading, painting, and talking. If you are visiting, bring food, but spices are abundant. And if you forget anything, just toddle on up to Mather Lodge Restaurant. All meals we had were tasty and people were so friendly. Nature was on full display…deer, turtles, bullfrogs, many birds, and the road runner was a great sighting! Lovely spot if you’re looking for a country visit with the world not too far away! And the beds were comfy too!
