Waterfront holiday rentals in Porches

We stayed in one of the Berrio’s unit and it was perfect. The unobstructed view was amazing. The pools were fantastic for our 4 year old son, we enjoyed it everyday! The place is just a short walk away from Carvoeiro via a nice boardwalk along the sea. The bistro was so convenient for us when we just wanted a quick bite or a drink next to the pool. And the service was wonderful! If you want a relaxing time, enjoying the algarve without any stress, this is your place!

Beautiful place in a lovely location (quick walk down to the beach!) with such a lovely & knowledgeable host, Patricia. It was so peaceful and we had such a great time. The beach nearby was so nice - peaceful and beautiful with nice sand. I worked remotely for the days we were there and the internet was great for video calls. We didn’t use the kitchen much however noticed it was fully stocked with all the necessary essentials. We definitely want to spend a longer time here in the future.

We stayed here in the low season February/March and enjoyed the stay despite the very mixed weather. The apartment was super equipped. The bathroom door is stuck😅, but otherwise the apartment for 2 people is really spacious, modern and intact. The location is good as you can walk to a good Intermarché in 15 minutes, which has everything you need. And scenic, the corner is a dream: great coves, cliffs, viewpoints and hiking trails, all of which are not difficult. We even enjoyed walking to the next town (to the long sandy beach). The path is safe and doable in 30/40 minutes. Rodrigo was always quickly accessible, especially at the beginning because we had not found the apartment at first. As a German, it is sometimes difficult to find the Portuguese addresses. But a Google Maps link solved it-just requesting Rodrigo. 🙂 We can really recommend Rodrigo's apartment as a starting point for discovering the Algarve.

Fantastic stay in wonderful, clean modern top floor flat. View is amazing to the city of Faro and Rua Formosa. Large well furnished comfortable balcony with jacuzzi. There is everything you need in the flat: coffee mashing, toaster, kettle, microwave, cooker and oven, large fridge. Very modern bathroom with two types of shower. Water pressure is perfect. There are plenty of towels if you need more. AC in every room. There is iron and ironing board. Also, there is beach towels and parasol. We stayed for 4 days and loved it. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back 😊 Thank you very much Fabio!

We spent our vacation in this great beach apartment for the 2nd time and enjoyed Mark's hospitality. The apartment is perfect for our needs: On the one hand, this wonderful Praia da Falesia is "on the doorstep", on the other hand, you can quickly reach the west and east of Portugal by car to discover other beautiful places in the Algarve. Bars, restaurants and supermarkets are in the immediate vicinity and there is also an excellent cocktail bar with tapas to end a nice summer evening. We will be happy to come back.

Had an amazing time here and underestimated how good the location is. Easy to jump in and out of the fun of Albufeira and an easy walk to public parking. Marina was super responsive and communicated well. Wish we could stay longer!

The location of the house is amazing: a few meters from the beach, in a soothing setting. Ideal base for the most beautiful walks in the area along the coast. The house is tastefully decorated and quality materials. It is perfectly equipped with everything you might need for a dream stay (impeccable house base, equipped kitchen, bbq, beach towels, etc.) . Stephanie has thought of everything! This home is a perfect beachfront home, but also turns into a soft and warm cocoon thanks to the wood burning stove when the weather is less mild. Stephanie is a perfect host, attentive and always available. Thanks again for everything! Last point: you will find in front of the house 2 delicious restaurants offering amazing grilled fish! It was a dream stay! We leave this house with memories in our heads and we hope to come back soon!

Amazing… had me looking up how to buy a home in Lagos.. or at least we will come back to visit!

Our stay at Casa Bombarda was the highlight of our trip—both the unit and Lagos completely exceeded our expectations. The home is absolutely beautiful, with three stunning outdoor spaces, including a rooftop patio where we enjoyed ocean views and unforgettable sunsets. Luis was a fantastic host—great with communication, full of helpful recommendations, and always quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. The unit is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and cleaning, which made our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. The location is ideal: a short walk to the heart of old town and close to amazing restaurants, shops, and beaches. Casa Bombarda went well above and beyond what we hoped for. We’ll always remember our time here and will be recommending it to everyone we know!

Elsa’s place made our honeymoon absolutely perfect. Spotless and exactly like the photos. A perfect base for exploring Faro and surrounding areas, lovely restaurants on your doorstep. Felt safe walking around the area, even late at night. Noise not an issue, just the construction that is mentioned in the ad but that didn’t bother us! The pool is perfect for cooling off on hot days! Sad to leave, thank you for an amazing holiday!

The place was exactly as the pictures showed. The beds were super comfortable as well and the location was beautiful. We will be visiting again!

What an amazing stay in Carrapeteira! Great house, good restaurants nearby, and two beaches in walking distance, highly recommended!

We LOVED this Airbnb! The house is gorgeous and unique. The location is so good - just a few minutes on foot to a beautiful, less tourist-y beach right next to a stunning castle. You can also walk to a beautiful seaside hike from the home. Also, it’s just a few minutes on foot to lots of cute alleys with a nice grocer/butcher, viewpoints, and beautiful architecture. We really enjoyed cooking and eating on the rooftop in the evenings. The Airbnb itself is outfitted really well for an actually comfortable stay - sharp knives, tons of cutlery/dishware, a rooftop grill, toiletries, beach towels and supplies, etc. The rooftop hot tub and dining situation is incredible. The Airbnb is exactly as pictured - definitely worth it!

I can’t praise/recommend this property and Susana as our host enough, we were a group of 4 female friends travelling for a long weekend break away, from fantastic communication to flexible check in times, spotlessly clean apartment and complex, great accessories provided including pool towels and umbrella, everything is as described, the pictures do not do it justice, the apartment is much bigger than you expect with 2 balconies each side catching sunrise and sunset. We walked downhill to the marina and local supermarket/bar & restaurant and easily ordered Ubers back up to the complex, only costing a couple of Euros. An Uber into Old Town is just as easy to order costing approx 7€. The complex is very secure with gated/key access, it is quiet and respectful with a security guard walking round day and evening. We have had a fantastic trip and wouldn’t hesitate to book with Susana again, thank you so much.

Great friendly hosts who really made sure that we felt at home. Location is perfect - right by the beach. Easy drive to nearby grocery store and town centre. Home was very spacious and had a beautiful window. Enjoyed the stay.

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

Delighted: location & pool and view from the balcony (very private). Bolt from train / town €3-5. Apartment is basic, outdoor furniture looks new. Marcos & Elaine take pride & care of the apartment . Elaine baked Pastel de Nata, truly the best I’ve had to date in Portugal. The only frustration, advertising a coffee maker, and not say it requires “special sized coffee pods” or where to get them. I specifically asked at check in about the pods, Marcos agreed they were there, neither one of us looked in the box. An hour later, noticed only a few pods & I messaged Marco showing him a photo & he said that was all they provide for the Welcome Gift, no advice of “how or where” to get more pods. This is very disappointing, advertisement with photo of a proper coffee maker for the duration of paid stay yet guest can’t use the coffee maker the entire stay. Also saying that there is “Instant” coffee provided is not acceptable. Restaurant downstairs has real coffee, felt like being at a hotel.

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Ana’s place felt like a home away from home, we absolutely fell in love with it! The view from the balcony is just unbeatable, even on a cloudy day we enjoyed spending the day there. You have all the amenities you could need for a few days, and the apartment was just spotless! Communication was easy both with Ana and Joao, they were really helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend the place, and would definitely book again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ana’s place. The location is perfect! Beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores are all just minutes away by foot. It’s also centrally located within the Algarve region, so if you have a rental car, you can plan on all kinds of amazing things to do and places to see. Her place also has some extras that made our stay perfect…a water cooler for refilling water bottles, a washing machine and a separate dryer, a soft-sided cooler with ice packs, beach towels, and a view of the ocean! Ana is an excellent host! She answered any and all questions quickly. We can’t wait to go back in the future!

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! The place was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay, Rosa!
