Beach house holiday rentals in Port Lavaca

We loved our stay at the beach house! It was a perfect location right across from the beach. Some of our party went fishing, while the rest of us stayed at the house and enjoyed the views. They had tons of beach stuff and fun games in the garage, so that was a bonus!

Lovely place to stay! Stocked kitchen with spices and utensils. Lots of towels and essentials provided. Lisa, the local host, was absolutely wonderful! The view from the sunroom is breathtaking and loved watching the dolphins. The house does sit at the curve in the road and you see all the headlights at night if you're sitting outside. Not much noise reduction between second floor and first floor.

We greatly enjoyed our fishing trip to Matagorda Bay and staying at this location right on the beach was just perfect in every way!

The home was great for our purposes. It was clean and all the systems were functioning properly. The spaces were well apponted. The property manager was responsive and informative. I'd visit this home again.

Our stay was fabulous! The house is a short walk from the beach! The beach is ideal for families. We were able to sit in the beach while the kids played without worrying about crashing waves and deep water. We stayed from Sunday-Wednesday. The beach was not crowded at all! We also enjoyed fishing off of the pier! We went in the evenings and fishing was good! We did have to contact Michelle about the previous guests leaving trash downstairs. She took care of it quickly! Overall, our stay was very pleasant! The house was great and the kids can’t wait to go back again!

We loved our Turtle Bay Retreat getaway! The home was very comfortable, and the host provided all the amenities for a bay front home. Unfortunately we didn't catch anything worth preparing, but we could have if we did! The outdoor grill and griddle were great for cooking our meals. We would have liked to have used the provided crab pot, but we didn't have the chance. Oh well, next time. We are already talking about going another time soon. Host was very kind and responded to my many inquiries very quickly.

Can’t wait to come back! Have been telling all our friends about this place. Highly recommend. Host has very clear, proactive communication, which was extremely appreciated! They clearly take this rental seriously and want the absolute best for their guests.

The place was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. It was incredibly cozy and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight for us was definitely the pier and the fishing lights, which were nothing short of A++. We spent hours fishing all along the pier and were thrilled to catch some big fish at the end! The location is wonderfully secluded, making it the perfect retreat for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. It felt much more private than staying in Corpus or Galveston, which was a refreshing change. If you’re seeking a serene getaway with amazing fishing potential, this is definitely the place for you! Plus, Port Lavaca is only a quick 30-minute drive away if you’re in the mood for more dining options. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and can’t wait to return! Highly recommended!

Great beachfront location. We also enjoyed the swimming pool on the grounds. Can't wait to come back for another peaceful getaway.

We had a wonderful time at the home. This was our second time to stay, and we will for sure be back again. We love the location; it is close to everything. The hosts are very nice and answered all of our questions.

Our stay was very quiet and peaceful - just what we were looking for. The water is in a short walking distance and you'll likely find yourself down at the water for much of the time, as we did. To drive to downtown Rockport, it's about a 12-minute drive. Not too bad.

Lovely home. Very quiet. Safe. Clean. Peaceful. Family oriented. Pool was great. Randy was great and very accommodating. Thanks for providing the beach towels. Great beach. Neighbors who were visit were also very nice. It met our needs for the 5 days we visited. Wonderful view from 2nd floor. Suggestions- Need more restaurants in the area. Front door got frustrating at times. Stove- difficult to operate Umbrellas at the pool would be nice.

The Tiderunner Retreat is a beautiful, clean and well-stocked location that was perfect for our family reunion Mother's Day weekend. The pool & hot tub and cornhole game were a huge hit with the kids & parents alike. The many bedrooms, baths, and kid equipment made it just right for a family gathering. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a group of all ages and everyone had a blast. There was so much to do from the pool, beach and all the games provided. My teenagers are already planning a shuffle board tournament for next time. Can’t wait to visit again!

The house was fantastic, loved that it had a sun porch and a back room (bonus room). Based on what we were doing, we could utilize both rooms at various times. The house had a nice beachy theme that was calming. Enough room when we had some friends stay with us for a weekend. Great location - Close to a lot of things like grocery store, restaurants, and downtown Rockport. Would walk over to the Rockport beach every day. Host was responsive and friendly!! We stayed for about 2 weeks and the place felt like home and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!!

Our team has stayed here multiple times! Always a great place. Lots of beds & lots of space. They love all the options for things to do at the house. Pool table, shuffleboard, darts and cornhole!

Such a cute place!! Close to beach access and it has a shower downstairs so you can rinse off before going into the house. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!

This house is my family’s favorite place to stay in POC. We enjoy having the gated entry, large garage, plenty of parking for cars and our boat. Covered parking for the boat is a plus. We also enjoy sitting on the porch in the evenings and the kids enjoy playing outside on the driveway and front yard. The kitchen is well stocked and 2nd refrigerator in garage is great to keep drinks and extra bags of ice cold. Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and also well stocked. We also enjoy having the washer and dryer. Just a short drive to boat ramp, bait shops, restaurants and several new shops in town. This trip we enjoyed eating and drinks at Cathy’s, Sharkies, Hurricane Junction and great food at Bubbas in Seadrift. Luke is a great host and was very quick to reply when we had questions. We will definitely stay here again!

Very peaceful and SPACIOUS! Great for fishing pier is right across the street. The house comes equipped with everything you need and more we felt right at home looking forward to our next visit.

The stay at the Bay Bandit’s Hideaway was great! The host, Jonathan, was very responsive and accommodating. He took care of any questions promptly and everything in the rental was exactly like it was pictured. We enjoyed fishing off of the dock well into the evening and the lighted pier was a nice touch! The fishing was great in the Colorado River and we enjoyed watching all of the boats go by. I would definitely recommend this rental and hope to return soon!
