The location was very conveniently located for us. Everything was very clean and looked exactly like the photos. Maria was responsive when messaged. There were some small toiletries that were included that were very convenient like make-up cleaning wipes, a toothbrush and cotton swabs. Extra blankets were provided in each room and even coffee/tea in the kitchen. Very thoughtful and will definitely book this place if available for our next visit to town!

I really enjoyed my stay. The location was amazing and was about a two minute walk from the beach. It was in a great location and practically in the middle of SPI.

We had a wonderful stay here! It was perfect for our family of 6. The washer and dryer were a plus. It was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. We felt safe, and right at home. Casita Azul is a great place to stay for a visit to Rio Hondo! Jose was friendly and responsive, and I would definitely recommend this place to other guests.

The home was very cozy and clean. It was also surrounded by beautiful scenery. Location was perfect for a quick fishing get away and drive to the beach. Not only did the host have quick communication but also returned an item that my son forgot. They are very trust worthy. We will definitely be booking again in the near future. I 100% recommend this home and host.

Priscilla home was a home away from home. She was an awesome host. Responds quickly. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

We had a four day weekend and decided to head to the Valley to spend some time with my wife’s family. Hugo’s place fit the ticket. My wife is from Rio Hondo and the location was perfect. We made a day trip to SPI (about 45 minute drive). The home is very clean and feels very new. Beds were very comfortable. The home is supplied with all the basics. Can’t recommend this home enough.

We came in for a local graduation at the Marine Military Academy and had a great stay here. Lauren was beyond accommodating about our reservation. Great communication. We had everything we needed and felt like we were back in high school in the 80s playing Pac Man. The game room is such a plus and a break from sitting and staring at our phones. Thank you for making a spot for us!!

Beautiful Saltillo Tile House We loved this place so much—we wish it was ours! We stayed at Leonard’s beautiful home at the beginning of May, while transitioning from Houston to the SPIG community and setting up our new place. The moment we walked in, I fell in love. The house is welcoming and beautifully decorated. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning views of the open backyard and the golf course. We especially loved the cozy, pergola-covered back porch overlooking the golf course—it quickly became our favorite spot for morning coffees and sunset wines. Leonard was a wonderful host, checking in on us and sharing fantastic recommendations in the area. I couldn’t recommend this place more. If you’re visiting the area, definitely stay here—you won’t regret it!

Our stay was wonderful, the view was beautiful. The house was extremely efficient for a family with children. The pool was warm and excellent size for a family of 7. Also, all the extra activities like the basketball court, mini golf and the room to play pool was a plus. AC works great and the owners were very friendly and helpful. In all, my family and I had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend it.

We loved staying here! The AC unit kept the house nice and cold after being at the beach and/or pool all day. Slight inconvenience with the batteries dying in the keypad for the door but Joseph responded very quickly and helped us get inside to change the batteries. Loved all the toiletries were there in case we forget to bring some. Definitely would stay here again.

This was a great place to stay. It was close to lots of activities and had everything we needed! Our host left all the info we may require for our stay and we really didn't need to reach out to them for anything as it was all already taken care of.

this was my first time renting a airbnb and I’m happy I chose this place, a good 2-3 minutes away to the beach, was super comfortable had some space for me to bring my portable crib for my son, they had some essential as well just in case we forgot I truly appreciate the stay here I have recommended you trying this place and give it a chance for the price it is , it was worth it 🙌🏻

It was a nice place to stay! Very peaceful and super easy to check in. We weren’t able to work the tv but the host tried his best to help us make it work. But everything else was perfect.

We had a great time at the Condo and the access was easy and pools were great. We had plenty of room and the Condo was a perfect fit for our family, will rent the place again.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay here! The location is a 10/10—pet friendly with immediate beach access. The Airbnb itself is modest and no-frills, but it was perfect for what we needed. We brought a few of our own little luxuries (snacks, water, coffee, and beach towels) based on other reviews, which made everything feel seamless. The stunning patio view of the beach was incredible and easily the best part of the unit. Waking up to the sunrise with a cup of coffee or winding down while watching the sunset was an unforgettable highlight. The easy access to the beach made full-day visits in the sun super convenient, especially with a kid and a pup in tow. The space was easy to access, and the host was very communicative throughout our stay. While the fold-out couch wasn’t ideal for sleeping, we were comfortable with two adults and our five-year-old all sharing the spacious king-sized bed. We’d happily stay here again and are so grateful to Jeff and Darla for sharing their home wit

Great condo! Super clean and well appointed. Plenty of beds to accommodate 6 comfortably. Quick walk directly on to the beach and the pool and hot tub were great! Having a dedicated parking space was also a plus.

This place looked right out on the ocean. The place was the perfect size for my husband and I. The entire place is clean and very quiet after 10 pm. It was easy to get to the beach, and there was also a pool and hot tub. There were lots of choices for places to eat. We really enjoyed visiting the turtle hospital and bird sanctuary.
