Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Port Phillip

we had a lovely weekend at SaltHouse. our little pooch enjoyed the fully enclosed yard, and the gas fire place worked a treat on the cold nights.

We had a lovely stay at Lisa's place. it's exactly like the photos, very clean and comfortable. Everything you would need is there, and the decor is beautiful. Everything is in natural tones, very relaxing. The rain shower is great. We are in our 70s but it was a pretty easy walk to town with our dogs. The backyard is enclosed and quite big. We were there on a very cool weekend so didn't sit outside but the backyard had a fire pit and outside seating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Belinda’s house. It was probably a little older than I expected but this did not detract at all as the kitchen and bathrooms were clean, sparkling and modern. The location is wonderful with a very short walk to the beach and not much further to the township of St Leonard’s. All amenities were in good order and it’s obvious that Belinda maintains and cares for her property very well. No complaints from us.

This little peace of heaven was perfect for our family to celebrate my 40th birthday. From the moment we walked in the front gate to see the house amongst the gum trees and then the waterfall from the bedroom. We felt like we stepped into an old fairytale world with our own treehouse. Everywhere we walked felt like little fairy’s were waiting to greet us. The ferns throughout and stepping stones between each area made for the best adventures. The kids loved watching the frogs and tadpoles in the back pool. The natural pool was incredible and soul nourishing. Our first experience with a natural pool and it was breathtaking, especially being able to swim under the waterfalls. Thank you so much Sarah, we hope to return sometime Soon.

I booked the place for a holiday with my parents and kids. The place was so homely and kids friendly! There were many games and toys for the kids to play with. The kitchen had everything we needed. The ambiance was like a beautiful and welcoming family home that all of us very much enjoyed. Thank you Fran for the delightful stay!

We had a great stay at Simon’s. It catered for the whole family with kids and dogs. Great location directly opposite the beach, undercover bbq area and kids playground. Big fenced backyard for the dogs and play equipment to entertain the kids. There’s a studio detached from the house which was perfect for a guest with sensory sensitives when peace and quiet was needed. Highly recommended.

Amazing views of the bay and close enough to cafes and shops but keeps a sense of privacy and relaxed homely feel. Easy drive to all the Mornington Peninsula has to offer..The ambience was beautiful, and Samantha’s communication throughout made everything smooth and enjoyable. We’d absolutely stay again if we’re ever back in the area!

We had a lovely stay at Swan Bays View Apartment - Glenys and Geoff were perfect hosts - they think about everything including a real coffee machine, soy milk, generous provisions so you really didn't have to think about a thing. A wonderfully cozy self contained roomy apartment was provided. Glenys also provided lots of tips, advice and information on local history, geography and the best places to eat in the area. The hot tub was an added bonus, perfect in the colder weather and they made sure it was heated prior to our arrival - fantastic! Thanks again for the wonderful stay, we will be back again soon! Tim is a very great host, very responsive and described everything in details. The place is even more beautiful than what it’s looked like at the photos. Homie, cozy, and has everything you need.

Stayed 2 nights at Allan and Elizabeth’s listing. The place was as per photos and felt very clean and fresh. Host was kind to get the heating turned on for us before we arrived as it was a cold day. We chose this area as it was in close proximity to the massive Chadstone shopping centre and is between Melbourne and Phillip Island (penguins). Overall a very pleasant and easy stay. Do note to request for self check-in if required as we had the host wait up for us and we felt really bad!

Janette’s beautiful beach front property was fresh, clean and had the most amazing view of the beach and sunset! We had no trouble finding the house and getting in with wary and quick communication with our host and had all the necessary amenities for our 3 night trip. This property is very well designed and was a perfect retreat for my partner and I’s anniversary. The bed was super comfy and bathroom was a great size! We also loved the covered outdoor seating and overall style of the property. We recommend this property to all parties of two!

We absolutely loved our stay and were grateful to call this wonderful apartment “home” if only for one night! The host was very responsive and friendly, making us feel supported and welcome. The thorough instructions provided made check-in and check-out easy and stress free. The central location was perfect for our needs and I would love to stay again future. From the moment you walk through the door of Julies Airbnb it was welcoming and cosy. The view from the balcony was great to wake up to and the location was central enough to be within walking distance to all the great cafes and shops. Highly recommended, Julie is a great host.

We stayed 5 weeks in the apartment and loved it. It’s bright, airy and has everything we needed to feel at home. Great location in the heart of Hawthorn and so close to train station, trams and lots of great food places. Highly recommend.

Claire was the most kind and responsive host I’ve come across. Her beautiful home was so well kept. My favourite feature was the fireplace in the living room 😍 The views from the living room and the rooftop were absolutely breathtaking 🌊 Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Had the most wonderful, peaceful & rejuvenating stay at this apartment given its wonderful location by the Yarra Trail. Apartment was well appointed with stated amenities, bed was comfortable & all appliances functioned effectively. Appreciate the very flexible & generous check in/check out times, constant communication from host James. Undercover secure carpark added to the convenience as did the two nearby cafes & delightful stroll along the Yarra to the Collingwood Children’s Farm & The Convent cafes/restaurants. We will definitely stay again!
