Beautiful place with lots of amenities and special touches. Great communication with hosts who were very friendly and attentive.

Ardrossan is not a normal to go to place and the town is a bit run down, we were there to visit relatives in the next town, but there is plenty to see near by. The flat is in a residential area and its neighbours live there permanently. They were very welcoming. We had justed arrived and the lady opposite invited my wife and I to joint her in the garden. The garden is a great suntrap from early afternoon to sunset. To be fair every local we spoke to were very friendly to us southerners. The flat was spotless and felt like a home from home. There is everything you need in the flat and it is highly recommended. The only downside for me personally was getting in and out of the bath to have a shower ( the shower was great ) as I have arthritis in my back and ankles but I managed and it wouldn't stop me booking the flat again next time we visit our relatives.

A wonderful space for my husband and I to stay on a trip to Millport with family. The extended family were spread across 3 different rentals - and The Lookout most definitely had the best view (much to my brother in law's chagrin!) Just beautiful - whatever the weather - and as it was Scotland in June we had pretty much all 4 seasons in one weekend. The flat is decorated and furnished with a modern, clean vibe - and there was everything you could need for a stay (crockery, cooking utensils, hairdryer, emergency torches, spare loo roll, fluffy towels, highland cattle etc). Instructions were really helpful and explained how everything worked. It's 40 (I counted them!) steps up a winding staircase to the flat - but totally worth it for the view. I also really liked the photos of historic Millport on the walls. I appreciate nowhere on the island is hectic - but it felt incredibly peaceful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again on our next trip up.

David’s place is breathtaking! The views from every room are stunning. It’s out of the way up a farm track. It’s very comfy and super clean. Thats the upside of the “no dogs upstairs” policy , which is in place. It’s a place which will remain in your memory forever…. West Kilbride town is also a joy. The artsy side of Scotlands’ Craft Town, the fabulous red coffee shop, the Kandy bar bakers, Climies butchers and the greengrocers shop, all on the main street… makes you feel like you’ve stepped back to a time pre supermarkets. The town park is fabulous. You can walk from the town all the way down to Seamills beach, walk along the beach and then cut back up to the main Street where The Barony Arts Centre and cafe is also well worth a visit. All in all a wonderful place to be. An exceptional air bnb in a great little corner of the country. Loved it.
