Stayed at here while waiting to get in to a newly built home. It was a comfortable stay and a relaxed intro to the community. Rob and Kate were welcoming and immediately responsive to any queries or issues. It's a beautiful property, quiet and private and the unit is very well equipped. Comfy beds and sitting area, well-stocked kitchen - perfect for an extended stay.

We had a great couple of days by the lake where we were made to feel welcome from the start. Our children loved the lake and we were fortunate to have a good day of weather where we could use the kayaks and do some fishing from the dock. My son and I even managed to catch a bass each. The location is so picturesque and despite the hosts living next door, the property is private and has a small garden which allowed the kids to run around and play games. In the evening we were able to sit around the fire pit and toast some marshmallows while looking out over the lake. We would definitely recommend staying here and if we are lucky enough to return to NS we would definitely stay again.

We had a great experience here. It was our first time visiting Nova Scotia, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Lisa was very accommodating and allowed us to check in a couple hours early because our flight landed earlier in the day. The lakefront property was so peaceful and the views were stunning. The home itself was also beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need to cook meals, and it was very clean! We enjoyed lounging on the comfortable couch after getting back from a long day of exploring. The hot tub was the perfect temperature, and also very clean! The king size bed was very comfortable, and there were extra pillows if needed. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend this spot to others!

Extraordinary property with expansive windows overlooking the lake and a stunning deck for enjoying the view. The interior was both comfortable and stylish, with tasteful designer touches throughout. Outside, the gas fire pit and string lights created a magical setting for evening s’mores. Beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The hosts, Vicky and Steve, were responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay. Note: the steep, unpaved driveway requires AWD—it wasn’t an issue for us and actually added a sense of adventure. There is an alternative place to park vehicles midway for non-AWD vehicles. The only downside was unexpected construction on the lot next door starting Monday, which brought some loud noise. An excavator was moving boulders to clear out space to build a house. Vicky and Steve handled it quickly and graciously with alternative options. Aside from that, the stay was absolutely wonderful.
