House as atypical as it is welcoming, Sally and her team do everything to make you feel at home. Special mention for the shared breakfast with all the guests which is a real moment of sharing and exchange. A real change of scenery within this very calm and authentic house.

Sally is a lovely woman and extremely wekcoming! We enjoyed our stay at her beautiful Casa grande and in Burgau. We recommend her place for everyone visiting Burgau, it has everything you need. We will definitely be coming back!

Casa Grande in Burgau is a great place if you, like our family, prefer to stay off the beaten path and make the place your own. Sally, our hostess, was most hospitable and forthcoming, and let us use the kitchen amenities, and helped us book tables at nearby restaurants and advise us what to see in the Burgau vicinity. The beautiful Burgau beach is five minutes walk away. A café with a small supermarket is two minutes away. We stayed in the blue room suite. It has its imperfections but also lots of character and a tangible sense of history. The building itself is a large, old house. The adjacent gardens are large, but are currently in need of extensive cleanup. The whole house is a sleeping beauty. We felt like at home and have very fond memories of our stay in Casa Grande.

We will be coming back here. We stayed at 7 places this holiday, and this one is definitely the nicest, with the nicest of hosts. 10/10 would book again.

Josep and Carla are truly amazing! They have such a positive vibe and so super kind! They were always there when we needed something, but at the same time we felt we had a lot of privacy all the time. And the breakfasts we got were incredibly good! The property is very clean and has stunning views over the ocean (the sunsets from the rooftop terrace are truly magical). The location is also perfect; right in front of the beautiful boardwalk that leads to super nice little beaches. Restaurants and shops are all walking distance, but it is very quiet at night. A place where you can really relax! We would definitely stay there again! Thanks so much Josep and Carla!

By far the best place we stayed while in Portugal. I surprised as the room looks small in the photos but in reality it’s a good size for two people. Very clean and centrally located.

Very pleasant stay centrally located in the Algarve. Beautiful rooms with private balcony and pool that you share with 4 other guests. Very nice breakfast as well as the possibility to have dinner in the evening. Anne and George are very sweet and warm people who welcome you with a lot of love and they can cook great.

This place is a real gem with a garden and a swimming pool, which is something you wouldn’t expect from a place in the old town. The location was perfect, 3 minutes to the main square and all the restaurants while still being an oasis of calm. The room was spacious and light with a lovely balcony overlooking the rooftops. Everything was super clean and simply stylish. Not to mention the hosts, Anna and her sister were super welcoming and made you feel right at home. They also offered a lovely breakfast every morning with fresh fruit available all day long. I couldn’t have asked for a better and more relaxing time in Lagos! Would always return and recommend to anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of the town while still enjoying the central location.

After staying at busy places, this magic place was perfect to take a rest. Still, only walking distance from town center and the beach. It was nested along the country side, just on the edge of town. So beautiful and quiet. Everyone was so friendly and nice ❤️.

Salsalito is an oasis of calm and peace. There was everything we wished for in a place to stay and more. Sally Anne is warm and kind with a fun sense of humour and very helpful. The breakfasts were just perfect, the most pleasant way to start the day. We loved the garden and pool area, so private and serene. And at the end of the day a clean, cool and comfortable bed which was made every day and clean towels provided. Impeccable. Dreaming of planning my next trip to Sally Anne's already.

Our stay at Diane's place was simply terrific. The swimming pool is amazing and the garden is breathtaking. The location is also perfect as it a ride away from everything to visit but far enough from crowded places to have a peaceful stay. Diane and her husband were very nice and attentive, they did everything to make our stay enjoyable. We definitely hope to come back soon!

A beautiful oasis of Moroccan style Moorish colours. Exquisite hospitality. Fresh and plentiful breakfast supplied free of charge every morning. The house is gorgeous. The garden is splendid. Breakfast is sumptuous. It is served on the terrace and offers ultra-fire products, every morning. On the edge of the pool there are so many sun beds, that all guests can enjoy a refreshment in peace. You can spend the whole day, reading or relaxing, to the sound of birds. If you feel like it, the rooftop offers an even wider view of the ocean. The perfect spot for a yoga session. The location is ideal for visiting the Algavre. The nearest beach is minutes away. You have a parking space in the property or in the alley, just across the street. The room is nicely decorated. The bathroom is comfortable and modern. The must here is the welcome you will receive from hosts who are available and absolutely charming. Jonas and Thomas take care to ensure you have a great stay.

We stayed 3 nights at Javiera and Victor's place and were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was offered every morning and there were nice conversations with other guests and the hosts. We often had the pool for exclusive use. The place is on the edge of a settlement. You can walk a bit to the center of Lagos or drive by car. A few restaurants are within walking distance in the evening. Otherwise, we recommend a car for this. In Lagos you will find diverse and great restaurants. The advantage of the accommodation is that you are not in the center and yet reach the center in a few minutes by car. The beach is a 10-minute walk away. Beautiful sandy beach, little seaweed and waves. We would come back. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

We love Jaroslav & Pavla's place so much - this was our second September stay in a row, and we're already planning for next year :) Their accommodation is super-clean, safe and comfortable, while the location offers a great base to explore Lagos from. Praia de Porto de Mós and Praia Dona Ana are both close by. It's also only a short walk into the town centre itself. It honestly feels like our Portuguese 'home away from home' at this point!

One of the most wonderful, peaceful and beautiful places. Away from the noise and hustle and bustle, the b&b is very relaxing. The air is filled with sounds of all different types of birds and wildlife. The hosts were so welcoming and breakfast was wholesome, tasty and satisfying. They also recommended a lovely restaurant nearby, which was also excellent. The view from the terrace is lovely and lounge is a great place for a spot of yoga with a view. There are also lovely trails around if you fancy a jog or a hike. Would highly recommend.
