Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Portimão

We spent 5 nights at Rita's accommodation and really loved it. Super nice house, perfectly equipped, great location and quiet area. The roof terrace overlooking the Atlantic was a great place to end the evening after a "strenuous" day on the beach. We really recommend the place to anyone! Many thanks to Rita :)

This villa is incredible and they have done a great job with making sure the villa was in great shape considering there was just a major weather storm. Overall I would recommend this villa to anyone it has no faults at all it’s just amazing 🤩

We really enjoyed our stay at Alberto's house, who is a very friendly host. the house is ultra clean, well decorated, and bright. the bedding is quality as well as the linen. The patio is very nice and looks bigger than in the photos. Alberto left us bottles of water in the fridge, as well as fruit and coffee capsules, very much appreciated! The accommodation is located a few minutes from Lagos and its beaches, which makes it easy to get there by car. We will definitely be back!

Villa Tanita great Weather could be better

An excellent beach stay, full of great amenities, nice quality appliances and linens, flexible bed combinations for families, fabulously located to beautiful beaches and a communicative and generous host. Highly recommended. Thank you.

A beautiful accommodation, two floors with very large spaces, very well stocked kitchen as well as beautiful with double fridge, terrace used for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Comfortable bedrooms, the main one very large with a very large built-in bathroom equipped with a washer and dryer. But the bijou is the terrace on the third floor: practically an additional apartment with outdoor shower, sink, double grill, sun loungers, covered sofa "corner" and a 360-degree view of the residential complex, on Portimão and the sea, perfect direction to enjoy the sun that slides between coast and water. The complex is equipped with a lot of greenery with beautiful gardens, 2 tennis courts and a beautiful pool that is strangely uncrowded, so even more appreciated. The only small thing is the choice of time for cleaning the gardens by the staff, either early in the morning or immediately after lunch, understandable but that can disturb those who would like to sleep a little more.

Really great stay with our family - lovely location, a short walk to the beach and other facilities in Prainha, great communication and lovely to be greeted by the owners - will hopefully be back

The house is placed in a very calm residential area but close to very beautiful spots (including a nice 10-minute walk to a breathtaking walk on the coast cliffs). It was fully equipped with all useful appliances and very spacious. You can either stay in and enjoy the garden and the swimming pool or walk around the area or take the car to do some sightseeing. Harald was ready to answer all our questions and to help us both before our departures and during our stay. We found the place clean and tidy. We truly recommend the place.

Nice spacious apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and great beds. Well equipped kitchen, and also a large bath in the bathroom. The house is decorated as in the photos; so quite little atmosphere and simple furniture. However, the living room is a little fresh in winter, so bring a sweater.

If you are looking for somewhere to relax in the sun and get away from a busy daily life, then this is the place to come. We’ve been to Lagos many times over the years and we would definitely come back to this gem! Easy walking into the old town; good restaurants on the door step.

Anja and Paul's home was fantastic! Everything was immaculate! Paul waited for us and showed pointed to where the stores were, everything was within walking distance and a very comfortable walk. I recently rented an apartment in Lagos, Portugal for 25 days. Rita was the host associated with the property. I found Rita to be very accessible and responsive prior to arrival and while on site. She provided answers to all our questions that we need prior to our travels. I had somehow lost the key to the pool; Rita was able to get a replacement within 24 hours. The apartment that we rented met our expectations and matched the pictures we saw online. The best asset of the property is the location. It is very walkable to the Marina, the bus and rail stations, Centre City Lagos and the local Pingo Dolce. I highly recommend the property and Rita as a superhost.

This was an incredible stay! The cleanest air bnb I have ever stayed in. Host was very friendly and kind and accommodating, great walkable area. Very quiet and comfortable. AC in the unit, all the amenities!

Very nice, available and responsive, Laurie has always been there if needed. The accommodation is very nicely furnished and very functional. The roof top, a pure wonder to enjoy the view, the sunset during an aperitif, a dinner... Private garage for easy parking on a street where all spaces are quickly used. We had a great week at Samuel's house. Everything was impeccable: impeccable cleanliness, warm welcome, and very quiet location, perfect for resting. The bedding is quite firm, which may not suit everyone, but it remains a matter of personal preference. Thanks again for our stay!

We spent 10 days at the villa. It's located in a lovely quiet suburb, with a very easy drive into Portimao town and the marina. The villa is very comfortable, spacious and the pool is beautiful - no chlorine! The views over the hillside are lovely, you do feel you are in a rural setting yet it's just 20 minutes into the town. We would highly recommend.

Pedro is an amazing host and is highly recommended as he is very responsive whenever you message him! He helped save our trip by letting us check in after 3am. Local recommendations are provided at the house, it has a very spacious common area, quiet and safe neighbourhood and amazing pool! Only downside is the women of our group think he is too attractive. 😂

We had a really nice time at this Airbnb. The place was just as advertised—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The beach was stunning and only a short walk away, which was perfect. The heated pool was a nice bonus, especially with a 6-year-old, and the whole property was well-kept. The area was quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The host was responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Everything went smoothly, and we’d happily stay here again. A solid choice for a relaxing getaway! A few tips, the best food in Lagos is Tasca do Kiko, also there is a cafe called Everyday People cafe, perfect for breakfast.

We had a great stay, the villa was well positioned, spacious, very clean and perfect for a multi-generation family break. Communication with host was excellent. We had a great stay at the villa and look forward to visiting again soon.

We loved staying at Kjetil's villas. Even though the weather has broken us through some bills, we had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. We especially loved the private area right around the villas. We also liked the large kitchen with 5 people. I would also like to highlight the extremely helpful and accommodating on site Nick. He responded to inquiries asap and was always friendly and helpful.

Had a wonderful 8 days at the villa. Cristina has been a wonderful host, helping us with any queries re the villa and surrounding area. The villa is fabulous, with amazing views of the beach and sea, peaceful surroundings and a beautiful pool area. It’s a 40min walk into Lagos harbour area, approx. And a 10min car drive. All the rooms were clean and minimalist which was perfect. It would have been nice to have had a shower holder/mount in our room (double that looks over the pool) as we had to use the showers in our friends rooms. The kitchen was fab and filled with all the utensils and equipment we needed. Living areas and balconies were comfortable and relaxing. Loved the neutral decor throughout. Would be more than happy to come back for a future stay. Thank you! ☺️

The place was absolutely stunning, even better than in the pictures. It was perfect for our group of 11 people and had all the amenities. Our favourite part was the garden with the pool and the terrace/outdoor kitchen area. You can easily walk to town and shops and restaurants. John was also very responsive after we had a couple of issues. We would love to come back!

Stayed here for the 1st week of June 2025. Fantastic property in a perfect location. The villa was spotless, comfortable and exactly as advertised. The hosts were gracious and quick to respond to any issues. Short walk to the beach and to downtown & grocery market. Plenty of good restaurant options. Felt like a very safe & private neighbourhood. We would certainly return here and would highly recommend this villa to anyone staying in Alvor. We miss it already!
