Perfect for our stay, warmth if needed after a swim, view of the sea. Everything worked. Jo near by for any questions, always quick to respond. Bought my 96 year old mum who could walk to the cove and was easy to drive down to collect her. Good swimming near by always a plus.

We had a wonderful stay and a really beautiful spot. Hamish and Helen had thought of everything and were fantastic at giving us local recommendations. Lots of really lovely walking both coastal and in pretty estuaries. Loved taking the little ferry to St Mawes and would recommend The Lugger in Portloe for a special meal and the best cream tea!

Absolutely stunning little cosy fisherman’s cottage in a beautiful setting & location. Fascinating little peaceful working harbour right on your doorstep great for a little dip in the sea. Stunning costal walks just outside the door, great for morning doggie walks & views sitting on a bench in peaceful surroundings. Lovely friendly pub ! The Ship Inn, just up the hill, with great pub food . Parking sometimes available outside the cottage but the village carpark is a short walk up the hill & only £15 per week. No shop in the village but can get supermarket deliveries to your door. All in all a fantastic stay in beautiful Portloe.

We had a lovely stay, using Karen’s place as a base to go to a wedding. The cabin was clean and had everything you would need to be self sufficient. The area was quiet and peaceful and had lovely walks to the sea. Karen was very friendly and helpful, giving recommendations and leaving treats for us. Thanks for a lovely stay.
