Holiday rentals with beach access in Porto Empedocle

Antonino was very friendly and flexible on our delayed arrival. The apartment is facing the sea and the beach is 1 min on foot, very appreciated by children. Ideal place, 10 min by car to Agrigento and 5 min by car to the Scala dei Turchi (or 20 min walk by the beach, very pleasant). Thank you Antonino for the succulent pastries. In short, I recommend 100%!!

Nice location walking distance down steps to a beautiful beach . Lots of space in the apartment. The kitchen could do with more equipment . We arrived late due to car hire issues . It would be lovely to have a small welcome pack in the apartment . A short drive gets you to the town of Sciacca where there are lots of nice restaurants Overall a great location and a lovely holiday .

This was truly one of the most beautiful apartments we have ever stayed in through Airbnb. The apartment looked incredibly new and everything felt very luxurious. Ernesto was super friendly and welcomed us warmly. He even kept a parking space free for us. Incidentally, parking in the streets around the apartment is easy and free. If you want to stay near Agrigento, you have to be in this apartment! Please note that if you want to use both bedrooms (and bathrooms), you have to book for 3 people (even if you are only 2). We had missed this, despite it being mentioned in the advertisement. Fortunately, we were able to arrange and adjust this on the spot with the help of Ernesto.

We had an amazing stay, the property is right on the beach and just outside the property you could see the sea. We sat outside in the evenings and enjoyed the view and the peace. Maria's son's met us on arrival and helped us park the car, parking is a bit tight but typical of small Sicilian towns. We spent a day at the beach and also explored the local area. Would 100% recommend and we will be coming back. Be aware that there are no local shops within walking distance so I would recommend stopping at a shop on the way to get supplies. The BNB comes with coffee and other basic neccesities which was a nice touch.

The apartment and the hostess are great! In itself, the location by the sea is also very good. However, you should know that the distances or times given in the text are not entirely correct. This is especially important if you - like us - are traveling without a car. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the center or such a central square by the sea of San Leone (and there is sometimes no sidewalk, which is important if you - like us - travel with a stroller). The nearest supermarket is about as far. Without us asking, Olga drove us once for a big shopping trip to the supermarket and to the Valle dei Templi, picked us up from the train station and brought us back. That was really exceptional! Very comfortable accommodation. A large and quiet place to stay right in town.

Cozy house consistent with the context. Everything works perfectly and complete beyond our expectations. As specified by Monica, the house is isolated, we suggest staying with another couple. Highly recommended for those who love tranquility even in August.

We stayed here for 4 nights , 4 adult's and a child , for a friend's wedding. Soon as we arrived, we felt at home, we were greeted by Paolo who showed us around and Marcello was always available to answer any enquiries. The location and house wow , views and steps down to the beach , moonlight views from the bedrooms and sunsets we didn't want to leave , and will return. Grazie mille

The beach was beautiful…crystal clear water and a shallow shoreline. We really felt like we were in paradise. The house is located up on the hill (clay) very quiet and peaceful. There is one bar at the beach for drinks/coffee/chips/ice cream….happy hour in the late pm. The house was cozy, a little smaller than what we expected. It’s like living on a sailboat that was tastefully decorated. The owners were very friendly and kind, they live in the attached house. One important note that is not clear in the description is that kitchen and loft bedroom are up on the first floor. The doors that you see on the ground floor next to the outdoor patio is the kitchen of the owners. Keep in mind that there are stairs up to the kitchen/seating area/bathroom and additional stairs up to the loft bedroom. The a/c and fan helped keep the loft cool. If you dine outdoors you have to go up/down the exterior stairs. The kitchen had all the essentials also a table and foldable chairs. The beach 😍

Excellent host. Rosario and her sister Enza took care of every aspect of our stay in every detail. We were two couples with two children and Rosario's place was simply perfect for our needs. Three bedrooms each with a private bathroom. Not to mention the "Taste of the sea" restaurant run by Rosario himself. Top-notch cuisine, friendliness and good prices. They filled us with tips (both gastronomic and not) about the area. If we return to Porto Empedocle, Rosario will be our reference!

The apartment is beautiful, great view with a huge terrace!! Very spacious with beautiful well-placed windows. 😁 Very relaxing to eat a pizza on the terrace after visiting Scala dei Turchi and the Valley of the Temples, really very close to the accommodation. 🥰 We had a problem before arriving and Frances helped us a lot despite the fact that she wasn't in Sicily at the time, and in addition it was a holiday! Thank you again! The host's mom lives on the first floor and is very welcoming! Say hello to her if she comes by ☺️

We stayed for 3 nights at Giovanna s place. The flat is great and has everything you need. Very spacious It has a beautiful sea views 👌 If I travel to Sicily again I will go back there for sure Many beautiful places to visit You need car if you go there The locals park just next to the building at the side ally 👍

Ideal location away from the crowds to see Agrigento and other towns in the region. The apartment is very clean and well equipped. There is a charming view over the sea and marina. The parking space is invaluable. The village has cafes but the supermarket is 5km away.

Simply amazing! We wanted a peaceful location that allowed us to escape & Rossano's fit the bill perfectly. We were close to numerous beaches and enjoyed sitting on the deck taking in the views. If you want a location where you can enjoy your surroundings and get a feel for typical Sicilian life-this is it. I would highly recommend & we will be back!

Amazing apartment, great location, stunning sea view from the living room and from the terrace, amazing hearing the sea sound and looking at the moon and stars from the sofa ! The apt has a direct access to a beautiful sand beach with clean water from the building entrance. I was with a large car and I’ve never struggled to find a free parking around the apt. You’re 5 mins drive / 10 mins walk on the beach from Scala Dei Turchi, few mins from another amazing beach Lido Rossello and few steps from Torre Salsa beach. In 15 mins you’ll be in downtown Agrigento, or at the Valle dei Templi. Great and quiet location. Grocery stores are 5 mins drive away, but if you need some fresh fruit there’s a little van full of it that pass by every morning 10 am. Michele and Federica have been great host, always available and kind. If you travel with kids, they offer you whatever is needed (even bucket and spades to play with the sand). If you go there, and I strongly recommend it, please use the terrace and grill with the BBQ some fresh seafood, drink some good wine, bring some friend, and observe togheter the beauty of the sea, the sky, the stars, and the moon that are right in front of you. Amazing !

beautiful house, wonderful space, Close to the beach and wonderful view. it was early. spring and the weather was cold-ish and the house has a very good heater. also AC in all rooms. lots of beautiful books and magazines about art, Sciacca town, sicily in the living room. also great recommendations where to eat. kitchen is super well equipped and we felt really at home cooking for the family. the only thing that hat it is not mentioned in the description of the apartment is that the place is a house divided in 4 apartments. one of the rooms has an exit door and windows directly to the entrance and patio of one of the apartments. so when people are there and talking normal, there is no isolation to the sounds coming from outside. same to the apartment above, someone was cleaning up there in the evening and it was very hearable. there is no ceiling lamp in most of the rooms and at night the light is low. all for all we had a lovely time and loved our stay.

Our main criteria for this stay were a quiet place with easy parking, not in a city, and close to Agrigento and Selinunte. Giuseppe's place fit these criteria perfectly. It was spotlessly clean and easy to find with Waze. Giuseppe met us at the gate and gave us a tour. The place seems to have been recently refurbished and was comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment for an evening meal. He is very responsive and lives three minutes away so he is reactive in case of problems. We needed him to regulate the electricity and he arrived quickly. We appreciated the welcome cookies and lemons. We would recommend Giuseppe's place for visiting this part of Sicily.

This is a great location with plenty of places to eat nearby at night.

We had the most amazing stay at Salvo’s Villa! The room, balcony and terrace was even more beautiful than the pictures. The kitchen is small but sufficient. It‘s only a two minute walk to an amazing beach which wasn’t crowded at all at the beginning of June. Salvo is really welcoming, gave us a lot of tips and was always available when needed though still giving us enough privacy. A car is definetly needed but it’s only a 10min drive to Licata where you can find everything you need. Thank you for having us!
